As indicated, I'll be on Wisconsin Public Radio in a few minutes. I'm hanging out in the waiting room next to a split-leaf philodendron....
Now, I'm in the studio, about to go on. I wonder if there will be any unusual issues....

Do they have a green room? And if so, is it really green or is that just what they call it?
I had never listened to these before. This Peg woman is godawful.
Hi, everyone.
Call in!!!
Ann's last point about state court elections is about right - I wouldn't characterize it quite that way - and shows why so-called "merit systems" are misdirection. It fails to describe reality to focus purely on whether a judge is technically competent - what does judicial merit mean? It's not a question of injecting politics or ideology in a political sense into the judicial process; there are at least two broadly-defined and largely incompatible views on what law is and what judges do. These are not tethered to political views although they are usually identified in association therewith. And it's insane to pretend that simply looking at "merit" - asking if a judge is capable of writing an opinion and treating litigants courteously, etc. - describes a sufficient rather than a necessary condition.
Tragedy of Al-Qaeda? Oh, Osama, we hardly knew ye!
Good grief!

Is it to your right or to your left? I bet at WPR even the split-leaf philodendron is to your left.
15:45 Althouse's little giggle after Peg blows her nose -- heh.
Personally, I am hoping the "change" we will see in the future is the abolishment of talk shows that feature partisan hacks, such as yourself, who's main objective is to complain about the other side.
