Via Gawker. Nicely done. This, less so.
ADDED: I've replaced the embeds with links to declutter the front page in preparation for a new home movie that I happen to know you're going to like. I mean it is certain.

(the other kev)
I've seen the first one before, but it's still pretty good. Could've lived without the second.
I'd really love to see someone try a live-action Futurama opening, though.
(The original Kev--and how funny is it that the other Kev commented while I was preparing mine?)
I think the top one actually ran at the beginning of a Simpsons episode a few years ago. It must have been filmed in the UK, because Marge's steering wheel is on the right. (And as the resident saxophonist, I do have a small quibble with the use of a tenor instead of a baritone for Lisa's horn, but maybe they were concerned that the latter would have been too heavy for the girl to dance around with while "playing.")
I liked this one too: A South Korean musician playing the theme on two guitars in touch-tap style.
I saw the first one several weeks ago, courtesy of my Simpsons addicted offspring. I suppose next you’ll be linking to Club Penguin just to torment me.
Reply hazy. Ask again later.
Am I anticipating a Magic 8-Ball theme?
It is decidedly so.
Now that guitarist video kev posted was cool. Simpsons theme played by hammer-ons on two guitars at once. Real nice. :)
And the first video cracked me up, but it's really nothing more than a live action reenactment of the opening sequence. Cute, true, but doesn't have much longevity beyond one viewing. I'd have been happier to see them do the differing bits with the couch at the end.
