Please. No more...

... Gore.

The rest of the quote is even more better and loony:

"I'm suggesting that Senator Obama as president would give him a lot of authority to deal with our consumption of oil..."

OK this is just silly. Carried any further, it will become painful. There's just no way to count all that's wrong.

Oh please, please, please do this. I mean, McCain is just stumbling towards home plate, and I need yet another Dem screwup to help get him there safe. This one should just about do it.

What is the prophet al-Gore (peace-prize-be-upon-him) weighing in at these days? That may be the most reliable predictor of his future.

I love the thought of Gore dictating what my energy consumption should be.

Why do these Demo pundits want to cripple their chances of winning this election? Obama represents a cure for the common scold candidate syndrome of Gore and Carter. Dems don't need to pander to their base -- they need to reach out to independents and soft-core Republicans. Maybe Carville represents Global Warming Skeptics for McCain.

dear professor, i thought you loved al gore
i recall you writing nice things about him
i even think you called him a 'big hunk' or some such
maybe it was 'giant of a man' i don't quite remember
but i could almost see your dialated pupils gazing adoringly at his picture
and now this...
how could you say 'please. no more'....
surely that al gore love wasn't a pose, was it...
were you just toying with us
playing us for fools...
and how do you think al gore feels...
knowing that the althouse he thought endorsed him
now scorns him as yesterday's man
an old blog post gone into the archive
a power pc powerbook running os 10.4

it's too much to bear i tell you
please please tell us it isn't so
that the althouse we know is not fickle
or an inconstant jade
as sir archy might say

Kum-ba-ya, my Lord, kum-ba-ya,
Kum-ba-ya, my Lord, kum-ba-ya,
Oh Lord, kum-ba-ya.
