Did you come out in the drizzling rain last night to a place that looked like this?
A random photo from the Madison meetup, which happened last night. Were you there?
ADDED: Dan from Madison was there, and he told an amazing story about that time somebody was ringing his doorbell incessantly at 4 a.m. — ringing it with his nose.

Saturday morning, a wet snow fell, then the temp dropped and the roads turned icy. Couldn't make the trip. Hope everyone had a good time.
Yep, was there, and had fun (and good scotch) - thanks for taking the time.
Dan's out there representin' (as we like to say in the hood) good old LITGM.
Thanks for being the gracious host Ann. Great company, great coffee, great conversation. What more is there? OK, 70 degree weather would have been nice.
Your photo looks like a Robert Williams painting...I'm not sure that's a good thing!
The way you're holding your camera, like you're examining a tea cup, is the reason I bought one with greater heft and a bump on the right so I know how to orient the thing right off and don't start out peering into the lens while holding it upside down.
The down side is, it doesn't fit in a pocket.
It's 70 here.
No Althouse meetup, though, so there's that.
Sorry, couldn't make it - am in town, but came down with a running "injury" late in the day...wasn't goin' nowhere. Have a nice winter break.

Unfortunately, Suzanne (or was it Suzanna?) left before the cameras came out.
Thanks again, Ann, for hosting this. It was fun!
Oh yea, the drive home to Milwaukee? Brutal.
I have a big camera too, but I don't carry it around. This tiny camera is extremely useful and it takes great pictures.
Thanks, Michael! The pictures came out really nicely. And what a demonstration of the wide-angle lens.
Glad you made it back home safely. The weather is monumentally screwing up my Christmas travels.
retitled...ann and hunks. or perhaps...melding of the lawminds.
amazing.
Michael, thanks for the flickr link. Sorry about the rough ride home.
that wide angle lens demo blew my mind as well.
