It is a little known fact that this famous actor was also an amateur arborist who spent most of his spare time pruning thousands of trees in San Francisco using the technique that would later bear his name.
A woman who spends $500.00 a night on an exclusive hotel room....
...and then spends her time combing the parks taking pics of the dregs of society.
Maybe I'm crazy, but if I just spent $500.00 a night on a room...I'd plant myself there for the duration.
You can do your walkabouts when after you check-out, or before you check-in. But, while you've got such pricey digs, and the clock is running.....you might as well get your money's worth.
Plant yourself in that pricey room, and don't leave.
I think we stopped at that park summer before last so that Little Guy could play for a few minutes. We were walking from the Wharf towards Chinatown at the time. Little Guy (5) then wanted to find a taxi...

Can you dig it?
Yes, I can.
That guy in the top pic...he's got that whole Bucky Badger thing workin' ...did you ask him out? I mean just to cure him of shorts-wearin' ways!

Hint: California is not known for its public parks, and the people, slumming....I mean.... hanging out there, are not the best and the brightest.
HOWEVER... the real Movers and Shakers, might be found at, oh...say, the Dining Room/Lobby Lounge at the Ritz-Carlton ????
Fondly,
Maxine

Are the men on the fountain black enough for everyone?
Formal Law Student: Those places are very squalid, and inhabited by purveyors of a lesser cachet.
Anybody of any importance would be at the Ritz, yet Althouse spend the day away from there.
California is a public park.
Those little chunks of land in the middle of cities with hacked up trees are places to keep playground equipment.
