Okay but let's not, you know, misconstrue these tourists' actions. Sure, on first blush, it APPEARS they are taking pictures and "checking out the bathroom."
"We had to just stop and check out the bathroom," said Sally Westby of Minneapolis, on her way to Guatemala with her husband Jon.
"In fact, it's Jon's second time - he was here last week already."
I suspect at least some of them are in fact using those toilets to eliminate bodily waste.
"I go out into the woods at night, the secret thing happens and the guy is obviously standing there naked in the woods. So I just went on a diet immediately. I got all those creams and started rubbing!" Danny DeVito "And then I realize I am in a bathroom stall at the airport, and I think to myself, thank god I am not a Republican!"
Since the arrest of Craig at the airport bathroom, one of the local tv stations in the Twin Cities did a story about two parks in St. Paul that are having the same problems with gays seeking anonymous sex. Like the bathroom, there have been a lot of complaints, and now the police are using sting operations to try and catch the offenders. The problem is so bad that they are thinking about posting the pictures of those that are arrested. St. Paul has been posting the pictures of those arrested for prostitution crimes on the internet for quite a few years.
Possibly carrying a camera and taking pictures of the stall has taken the place of toe tapping and foot touching? Maybe the story given to the BBC, that they are just "looking" has taken the place of "I have a wide stance" and "I was picking up a piece of paper"?
If one good thing can come from the whole Craig non-scandal, it's that I stopped tapping my feet in public restrooms. Never knew it was signal, public restrooms just make me nervous.
If the owner of the rest room pipes in music, does that make them an accessory? Should this be something businesses need to consult their lawyers about?
Now a purist might assume that the mention of Dom Deluise on this thread would be "troll like" behavior...but Mr. Deluise was once accused of molesting a room service waiter at Caesar’s Palace in Atlantic City...when the waiter came to his room, Mr. Deluise began to comment on his physique and began a somewhat ambiguous massage....Mr. Deluise was accused of harassment, although I don't remember the final disposition of the case...I believe the Mr. Deluise can continue his career in politics...so sometimes an seemingly irrelevant comment might really be on point...just out of range of your own interests and your somewhat narrow focus...just sayin' ya know daddy-o!
Has anyone heard anything about the location of his airplane's gate in relation to the location of this bathroom? It seems that if he went a long distance to this particular bathroom then he was going there for something other than the facilities. I have never heard anything about where his plane was in relation to where this bathroom was.

That is so true. One time I took a long walk to the bakery crosstown instead of buying from the nearby bakery, so I must have been having an affair with the baker across town.

Oh thank god. For a minute there I was afraid you were going to tell us you're gay.

Well, hey, Ann...why not just let Theodore vet anybody who wants to post a comment? I mean, who are YOU to allow open discussion and debate via YOUR blog?
We need to tighten up the ship, get rid of the people Theodore doesn't want posting comments.
Good Lord...you'd think this was some kind of open forum, an exercise in free speech...

Theo's full of it.
You can ignore anybody you want on this blog. There are plenty of people I never respond to, maybe because I don't think they're worth the time or just don't care about what they say.
Theo and others can do the same.
Whining about the "level" of discourse is disingenuous at best.
NO ONE makes Theo, Pogo, Fen or any of the others respond to what they cal "trolls."
It's a bullshit argument and rather infantile as far as I'm concerned.

Good work officer.
There won't be much sex in that bathroom for a while.
Too many photographers and tourists.
Let a thousand kitchy T-shirts bloom!

The link is to the BBC. They too low class for you?
So what can you do if you have to go?

Antiphone = Angry Leftist Punk
My hunch is that antiphone is a International Answer waterboy, a Code Pink wuss, or a Truther moron.
Here's a local TV news report with a video clip.

So when these tourists are "checking it out," what exactly are they checking for?
Does anyone know?
And I'm curious - post-1998, when tourists have visited the White House and the Oval Office, have they "checked it out" in a similar way?
What're they checking out?
Their stance, of course.
And their toe-tapping ability.

Don DeLillo is spinning in his grave.
Yes but what would Dom Deluise do?
Well, at least he wasn't trolling the bathrooms. Doubtful a innocent tourist or small child would just wander into The Dom's hotel room.
Thank god small children didn't wander in..Dom would have eaten them glazed in honey with a piquant béarnaise sauce.

It's one of the 10,000 lakes.

An open forum, LOS, not a urinal.
Theo has been one of the best commenters around; he will be missed. But I understand his point, and agree.

Is this the level if intellectual discourse Theo is looking for?
Theodore says: "I look at maybe 150 blogs a week, and I know of nothing else like this."
That's also total bullshit.
I visit various blogs and as far as people bitching about trolls or whatever...most are about the same.
The liberal blogs hate the conservative "trolls," the conservative blogs hate the liberal "trolls."
It's a lot like congress.
