You can always see which camera it is by clicking through to the flickr page. This was my tiny Sony. I'm sure I tweaked it a little, but I can't remember what I did. I just use iPhoto and move the sliders around until I like the color and contrast and the like.
Thanks, Ann! I forgot about clicking through and am glad I did after your reminder, as the largest version of this one makes a great background for my computer screen, BTW. (I tried your earlier shot of the marvelous leaves the other day but, for some reason, it turned out a bit too grainy.)
I have always been very partial to shades of blue and green similar to these.
'Cause You make me feel... Mony! Mony! So!—Mony! Mony!—good! Mony, Mony........ Well, I feel all right! Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! Ooh, I love you, Mony! Mo, mo, Mony ..... Yeah ...... Come on....
Hey, Simels is back! Where the hell were you? I'm not blogging about music on TV because: 1. I don't watch TV in the daytime, 2. I've been busy with this damned 6th Circuit case, 3. I was out in the real world interacting with actual fleshly human beings, 4. I don't like to listen to music that much -- unless I'm driving in my car. I did TiVo the damned thing though, I think. Was anything interesting?
Don't expect me to say anything about it though. I think it's hard to write about music. What are you going to say? Don't you get tired of calling things "brilliant," etc.? The same old words...
To clarify, I call bs on your thinking about the case. Running around the internets to figure out what you think and to locate Greenwald may have taken a while.
"It's called shorthand, Ann. It's casual conversation, not a review."
I'm genuinely being sympathetic. I think it must get tiresome trying to come up with new ways to say that things are good or bad. "Amazing"... "astonishing"... must get annoying...
michilines, what the hell are you talking about. Apparently, you missed my long post about the case. The day I read Glenn Greenwald as a way to figure out what to think is the day I stop blogging.

The colors in the first photo are stunning. Which camera did you use for these photos? Did you enhance them at all?

I'm flattered to be your screen saver!
I find myself sliding toward the green/blue these days.
Even on the one yesterday with the monk in the saffron robe, I moved it toward blue and green.

Saturday in the park? Must have been the seventh of July.

Breezy, light and airy. That Althouse---so light-hearted she's floating on the clouds!
"serious and rigorous academic debate."

Two concepts that I would never conceive as having a remote possibility of making an appearance together. Thanks, Maxine. Quite a chuckle.

Beautiful. Monet couldn't have done better.

Yes, but Monet wasn't purporting to be a law blogger.

There is no way to verify the camera information on Flickr, and people routinely lie about their equipment.
Best water lilies picture ever.
I'm just guessing, but the reason Ann isn't live blogging the Gore concerts is probably that she's heartbroken over the failure to book Sanjaya.

Was anything interesting?
Foo Fighters were brilliant; ditto Crowded House.
Biggest surprise was Mr. Nicole Kidman and Alicia Keys(!) doing a very credible "Gimme Shelter."
Melissa Etheridge said the unspeakable, and the Dixie-Chicking is probably getting started as I type this....
Okay. I'm watching the TiVo.

I call bs.
RHCP -- best so far.
Don't you get tired of calling things "brilliant," etc.?
It's called shorthand, Ann. It's casual conversation, not a review.
Kelly Clarkson, native Texan, is a close second.

My bad.
I'm really impressed by the sound quality (and the picture). So clear.

That second flower looks like something from a creepy Japanese pornographic cartoon. TENTACLES!
