His work really is fun to look at. Somewhere on the web I've seen snapshots of his drawings from the wrong direction, and they really show what perspective causes.
I have one shot in my post of the drawing from the wrong side. You can really see how stretched out the raft is. I put a link to his web site where you can see a bunch more drawings, including some "wrong way" shots. Here's what I found most interesting... I had assumed that he did a fairly detailed sketch on a grid and then put a "distorted perspective" grid on the pavement. That's certain what *I* would do. But he just sets up his camera and then draws a little bit and goes back and looks through the camera and draws a little more and just keeps doing that for hours on end.

Actually I love his work. He is amazing.
