Around Madison.

Yesterday, I was out, walking around the Capitol (see it?):

building reflections

Today, I'm dug in at Espresso Royale, drinking one of those outrageously caffeinated large cappucinos (the very thing I was sipping in that Bloggingheads episode where I got mad at Garance):

Let's try to focus this energy constructively.

The capitol pic reminds me of another series you posted a while back reflecting the capitol in what I'd guess is the same building?

That's actually a different buiding (on the other side of the square). Look at the windows.

You've got your caffeine, but our coffee machine's broken, so I'm not awake yet. That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it. ;)

It's an attractive concept though, both buildings provide an interesting distorted reflection.

I dunno... the head on the drink, plus the glass it comes in suggests a short pint of porter or stout.

Drinking in the mornings, eh? ;)

Just wonderful this photo of the Capitol! Great!

Number of times I've had a drink in the morning in my entire life: 0.

Sonia: thanks.

That's my office building. Pretty from outside, still lots of drilling inside. It will be a great place to work in about eight months when they're all done.

By "focus energy constructively" you mean preparing to teach law students, right?

ERC is my favorite coffeehouse here in A2 as well...

I consider it to be constructive, but not everyone does!

Caffeine (stimulants) to wake up.

Alcohol (sedatives) to wind down.

No worries. If you say so.

Peace, Maxine

So what is the building in this picture? It's not what I'd expect a Wisconsin church to look like, despite the crosses.

I think it's just an office building.

When are they going to actually finish that building?
