If I go with the assumption that this is Ann enjoying relative calm and a coffee this morning in Wisconsin...
I have to day, damn thee!! for having what seems to be a sunny Sunday morning...it is grey and foggy here on the outskirts of Toronto...and cold...and noisy because the neighbors are working on their roof...
I made the mistake this morning of getting a flavor shot of sugar free Kahlua syrup in my latte this morning. I don't really like anything that has fake sugar in it, but my inner voice said it wouldn't be as bad as a diet coke.
You have to wonder why some people feel the quotidian drudgery of our daily lives...
...makes for compelling viewing.
I just have to keep telling myself, that this is for the Althouse children, so that 40 years from not, they will always know what their parents did with their lives.
Leaving a legacy for your children.
Unfortunately, for the rest of us--the tedium is mind-numbing.

Have you considered a "coffee" tag to these [and many other] posts?
Yeah, considered and rejected. Seemed too narrow, though possibly not ... in the context of my world.

Ahhh, it's those stolen, peaceful moments in our day that make it worth living, huh. :) Thanks for that vicarious treat!
