Happy birthday, Simon. I was a little distracted today, after a late night of traveling, a class, and a column deadline. Maybe tomorrow... but tomorrow, I'm doing a Bloggingheads.

I thought that was pretty good, so I'm glad you found it funny. Otherwise it might have been somewhat awkward to admit it.
BTW, I thought this was pretty funny, too: Helpdesk YMMV, of course.
Damnit! Why aren’t Seth and I ever invited to the Key Parties? One night with Ann Althouse is all I ask, man. It’s all I ask.
Me too! I mean...with Bainbridge, yeah that's it.
BTW, who are those two slappers having a Girls Gone Wild moment?
That's not you and La Lithwick again, is it?
Cheers,
Victoria
Thanks, Vics - that reminds me: does anyone else think Palladian was hoping John would leave his key with him? ;-)
That's all he asks? His imagination seems a touch limited.
I was born of humble stock.
Never heard of "key parties."
Too upscale.
But, back in the day, there was a pick-up joint nearby.
Thursday night was "nuts 'n' bolts" night.
Still, I never went.
Modesty forbade.
BTW, OT: It's my birthday. How about a podcast, Ann? ;)

That linked photo is false advertisement.
Following up on xwl:
Stories of swingers remind me of the SNL skit with Will Ferrell and Rachel Dratch, where they're always talking with strangers about their bizzare and insatiable sexual appetites.
And they were both professors! Is this part of the job description?

S'ok. :) We're all getting extra non-blog Althouse these next couple of weeks already. ;)
Happy Birthday, Simon.
Thanks, Mort. And Ann. :)
Hope you had a happy birthday, Simon!
