I did not doctor the color in this photo. The lake is not green now. (I did hit the "enhance" button, which does something to the contrast or whatever, but I didn't change the hue or anything.)

No one wants to go on a dock that looks like it's about to tumble into the water.
Lake Mendota this time of year is a murky green color. In the summer near the Union it sometimes becomes a brilliant chartreuse, courtesy of algae.
