1. Here's a clip of Kellie Pickler doing comic interviews at the MTV Movie Awards. I've said it before, and this proves me right: that girl's a gifted comedienne who ought to have her own show.
2. "The Daily Show" tonight did a play on "American Idol": saying al-Zarqawi's "journey ends here" and launching into a montage with "You Had a Bad Day" on the soundtrack.

It occurred to me today while I was doing something completely unrelated that I hope you'll notify your readers if Idol has a Neil Diamond night in the next season.
Just reading #2 made me laugh out loud.
I had difficulty viewing the video. I had to download the viewer, then restart my computer and it worked.

I was rather stunned at how Sandra Bullock seemed like a normal, friendly person.
Jennifer: I'm sure it will. It was a pretty long segment. I watched, wanting to see how they'd hand the Zarqawi thing, whether it would quickly become Bush-bashing. It didn't.
Me too! I've guess I've never given much thought to Sandra Bullock, but it turns out I like her.
The "Bad Day" segment is up here, about 2 minutes in. I'm in absolute shock as to how perfectly that song is placed in the clip. This song is horrible dreck of course, but in the hands of Daily Show writers it's a masterpiece.
