What has become of Article III Groupie?
After succumbing to the temptation of the super-hot embrace of Jeffrey Toobin at The New Yorker, Underneath Their Robes has fallen out of the blogosphere! What has happened?

I suspect a rapid drop-kicking out of the door by his employer - or at least, the threat of said drop-kicking if the blog was not terminated.
"the super-hot embrace of Jeffrey Toobin" shoo
The situation validates one of my favorite (?) sayings: Honesty is essential, but forthcoming is overrated.
I'm hoping David Lat gets a sublime new writing job of some kind. Maybe his blog is locked down because he is going to transform it into a book. That would be nice!
Surely he's also the one behind the Miers and Alito blogs. Hence the A3G updates being posted here.
But why did he pull the plug (by outing himself) now?
From my contacts at DOJ, I have learned that David himself is just fine.
Article 3 Groupie herself is in serious, serious trouble.

I am kicking A3G's buttocks out of my monthly Klingon scrabble group!
Also noted, from Talk of the Town in the previous issue of the New Yorker, new notes from Harriet to George.

Along with the drunk notes and the feeling-sad-for-myself-notes, there's this:
I just spoke with Michael Moore. What an inquisitive, interesting man. He said that many of the things I shared with him about being White House counsel were very, very interesting to him. We made plans to meet for coffee soon, so that I can show him some papers. Do you know what phrase has less and less meaning for me with each passing second? “Attorney-client privilege.”
