Tea Party hating by the pro-union protesters.
"'Tea Party' sounds so much nicer than 'Mob of Racists and Homophobes.'" (The woman in the background has a sign that says "Walker — a boy from Brazil?" — a suggestion that Walker is a Hitler clone.)

Sad little trolls are these union folks . . .
Pathetic little worms.
Have these people ever met or talked with anyone outside their 20% slice of the American demographic? Do they have ANY genuine, honest curiosity about their fellow countrymen? And yes, these are rhetorical questions.
Poor union people are starving, all right.
Homophobic depiction of walker? I think the "Queen" reference is not to gay people, but instead to the Queen of England (A tea party reference instead?)
Overall though, those signs are ridiculously stupid - and detract from the protests.
@ Chris - At the risk of answering a rhetorical question...
I can't speak for other people, but I obviously do.
Hell of a way to characterize the people who pay the salaries and provide the benefits for these leeches.
DoS- What does Queen Elizabeth have to do with the tea party, either original or current?
But where are the giant papier-mâché puppets?
You can't have a truly meaningful left-wing protest without giant papier-mâché puppets!
Pure tribalism, nothing more.
There has been no leader to step up from the Dems to guide these protests. As they branch off into tea party hate or anti-corporation or anti-Koch Bros, or whatever other thing they can think of and get farther away from the issue that brought them together in the first place, the more regular people will dismiss them and the faster their rage will condense to remain only within the extremists.
If the tea party was what that sign said it to be, then moderates and independents would not have voted GOP last November.
I'd just confuse these people.
Before they'd accuse me of being confused.
Well these geniuses think that next election the TEA Party will be sufficiently cowed and stay home. They have a rude surprise coming. Taxpayers have had just about enough of the moocher class. There is going to be a wave of I don't give a fuck about this civil servants or that pregnant woman and the old bastards who want COLA increases blah, blah, blah. Not. Our.Problem.
There will be a move to ban civil service unions across the country as in taxpayers won't give a crap about civil servant pensions, salaries and benefits if the taxpayers have to pay more. Fire them and replace the. There plenty of others who can replace them for less and do a better job.
As for entitlements, screw them as well. A cut for them is the mirror of a tax hike for me. If it's good enough to tax me then it's good enough to cut their entitlements.
Boy, those are some fat fucks.
Do these people realize that Walker is not some robber baron having a disagreement with his employees. He's just doing what the voters voted for. If you got a beef with the boss, direct it at the right persons - the voters of Wisconsin. Make some signs calling the voters Hitlers. That might at least makes some sense.
Free speech is wonderful. I'm all for it.
And, I'm so glad Meade's willing to go out and take pictures of this stuff.
@ Maybee
Very little besides the common perception among Americans about British and "tea time".
To further my argument, the queen is holding a box labelled "green tea" and the man's sign references the tea party.
Check out the broad "broad" in the Dane County Sheriffs XXL sweatshirt.
Apparently the unions have money to rent a 23’ Stake/Flatbed Truck.. plus the miles from Chicago, the gas and a union driver with union rule/brakes.. probably translating into frequent stops.
Call me crazy but something tells me they ain't doing so bad.
It's truly sad that these protesters, these pathetic souls, make comments about a person's sexual orientation or racial background when casting slurs upon their opponents. These Socialists did that to Breitbart and to many others too. Yet, it's almost part of their so-called creed to claim tolerance is needed towards GLBT members of society and towards dark-skinned peoples.
Strange is the cry of racism or homophobic discrimination coming from these hypocrites.
Cheers.
"And, I'm so glad Meade's willing to go out and take pictures of this stuff."
If it doesn't say "photos by Meade," it's photos by Althouse!

Poor leftists are getting really detached from reality and are starting to display signs of mental illness. I feel sorry for them. Don't you?
It's too bad that they see no better way of using their creative energies than this.
Anybody remember, or know what happened with the left's Coffee Party?
wink, wink.
Wards of the state, flipping off the people who pay their salary.
'Mob of Racists and Homophobes.'
Takes one to know one, as they say.
The funny thing about the anti-Tea Party stuff is, both these protesters and tea partiers want to have less money taken out of their paycheck.
Tea Partiers don't want to pay more of their own money because they think the government wastes it.
Union protestors don't want to pay more of their own money to their own health care and pensions.
You would think, if money is so dear, these union protesters would also be tea party protesters.
AFSCME:
American Fat Shyts Constantly Maligning Everyone
Behind the Tea Party/racist/homophobe sign is one that says, "Unlimited power is apt to corrupt the minds of those who possess it." They left off the rest of it, "and this I know, my lords, that where laws end, tyranny begins."
Are they afraid people will draw the wrong conclusion about who is being tyrannical?
The new civility is still alive and well. Hee hee hee!
Bunch of hating hypocrites.
@Julius
"...leftists are getting really detached from reality and are starting to display signs of mental illness."
Come to that all by yourself, captain obvious???
wv - ultrid
Bring along the ultrid, time to send the protesters home.

Don't be told what you need.
There's no future
there's no future
there's no future for you
This is what I'd fight them with.
@tosaguy, please don't make the common mistake that, since voters voted more for side A than for side B, voters actually agree with side A's policies. often times, independents will be voting against side B much more than for side A.
I'd like to continue to pay the guy in the green t-shirt's salary, pension and benefits, and hopefully let my children pay for it, too.
Don't you?

How long will it take for Wisconsin to recover its reputation as a sensible, hard working, self-reliant state? Or was I the only one under that illusion?
And how did homophobia or lack thereof become part of this? Expecting people to face facts and shoulder their fair share of common burdens is homophobic?
Not only are they opposed to gay marriage, they are now going after civil service unions.
The union parasites would do well to remember that there are more of us than of them. Alienating people who will beat you at the ballot box every time is not a good strategy. And, greed is not a good quality.
WE are the middle class, not you.
Did Ann forget that Walker campaigned as a homophobe?

Madison — As the Wisconsin Supreme Court contemplates whether to throw out the state constitution's ban on same-sex marriage, the candidates for governor are quietly differentiating themselves from each other on issues affecting gays.
... Milwaukee County Executive Scott Walker and former U.S. Rep. Mark Neumann - say they voted for the amendment that banned gay marriage and substantially similar relationships.
Walker vetoed an effort to provide benefits to the same-sex partners of county workers.
Their positioning comes as the state Supreme Court decides whether to strike down the gay marriage ban. It also comes just after the state began providing benefits to the same-sex partners of state employees and implemented a domestic partnership registry that allows gay couples to acquire some of the benefits afforded married couples.
Walker and Neumann have taken different stances, with both saying they voted for the constitutional amendment in 2006.
Walker said at a Milwaukee Press Club event this month he thought the domestic partnership registry contradicted the state constitution because it bans arrangements substantially similar to gay marriage.
"I differ from the governor on that; I differ from Mayor Barrett on that," he said.
He noted he vetoed a county resolution in November that would have allowed the same-sex partners of county workers to get benefits. The County Board upheld the veto by a one-vote margin.
Whoa! Those lefty people are being such Smarty Pants with all their correctly used and spelled words. Tea Time is over imbeciles . . . . you woke up the lazy socialist hornets with Walker's idiotic power grabbing overreach. Don't you realize you are being used?
Poor leftists are getting really detached from reality and are starting to display signs of mental illness. I feel sorry for them. Don't you?
Yup.
*loads clip*
So a bunch of lily white people are protesting the tea party claiming they are racist. I'm not getting it. Do they think the tea party hates whit people?
I don't understand how putting a man's face on a woman's body is homophobic, and I'm gay.
@Dose of Sanity: "Queen of England"? WTF??
As you can clearly see, that is Queen Elizabeth II, in her capacity as queen of Canada - notice the flag, and the sovereign's badge of the Order of Canada.
So it's not quite as clever as Mr. AFSCME seems to think.
