"I love it when you talk dirty to us, Althouse."

The ultimate in link-whoring. And yes, I am ashamed. But not of my position on sex: It is less of an effort than watching a BBC TV drama.

Also: "I'm a virgin ... as relates to BBC dramas. I respect myself too much let some limey have his way with me."

Well, now see you have to tell us now how it could be less tiring. I mean, what are you doing, just laying there?

Details, please...

No. I avoid it altogether. Watching those fucking TV dramas, I mean.

What does it say that the first time my wife and I made love was half way through an episode of Brideshead Revisited ?

You spent your wedding night watching Jeremy Irons?

Well, you are Canadian...

Fucking Dramas? Good lord - they're not that bad. I rather like Dr. Who...

Blink moment: The superior longevity of the Europeans is not due to their nationalized health care but due to the fact that their cigarettes taste like crap and, until recently, were taxed at a much higher rate than in America. Worse cigarettes at a higher price equals less smoking and longer life spans......Something similar might be going on with the plummeting birth rates in Europe. It is my opinion that 43% of all Americans between the ages of thirty and forty were conceived during the the interminable commercial breaks of Johnny Carson show. It is a well known fact that married sex is boring, but boring is a relative term. Even married sex beats late night television commercials. I don't know about other European countries, but in England the BBC is publicly supported and does not have commercial interruptions. The Masterpiece Theatre thus presents the minimum of temptation with the minimum of opportunity.

Having one position on sex could be...boring! How about standing up in a hammock?

I still maintain that if you find sex less of an effort than watching a BBC drama, you're doing it wrong :-P
