The talking points like to recognize Fidelity and Schwab as if they’re doing the funding but more likely they are talking about money from donor advised funds, where those companies set up the funds on behalf of the clients, the clients fund them, then direct the fund flow. Easy for the clients to make anonymous donations helping the bad guys…

My cousins are red-state cattle ranchers supplying grass-fed, free-range beef that is served in fancy restaurants around the Southwest. They're doing just fine, thank you. They aren't getting as rich as the recent prices of beef might suggest, as the price-fixing middlemen in this business apparently skim off a shocking amount of the cream, but they're doing pretty well for themselves. They are experimenting with selling sides of beef out of their barn to people who want to do home butchery and preservation, and have thought about expanding to dairy, but not unless RFK Jr. cleans up what is said to be an even more cutthroat and corrupt and overly regulated playground for government cronies.
I haven't checked in with them since this Argentinian thing, but to my knowledge they are still rock solid in their support for Trump and their utter loathing for the Democrat enemies of all we hold dear.

So. Is there anything to the 60 Minutes story about Justice submitting phony documents to the courts. Not just a few times but repeatedly. Is this a whale of a story or just another fishy story by the press.
The link narcisco provided includes a clip from the truck’s dashcam ftom just before the accident until the truck stops moving. I saw that clip earlier and let me say, as strongly as I can, VIEWER DISCRETION IS ADVISED. As the truck approaches the stopped cars it never slows down, and you realize that even if you don’t see the actual bodies, that nevertheless people are dying horribly.
No hes one of those fake 'whistleblower' like vindman throwing up chaff since then
The Left and the democrats play 4-D chess, the Republicans play checkers. Imagine if we had Jeb Bush or Chris Christie as POTUS, all this crap would still be going on and we wouldn't know. Only trump.
What did Bush 43 do to stop the left? Nothing. What did Romney do? LOL. He wanted to be bidens friend and voted for all his leftwing cabinet appointments. What did McCain do? He wanted Joe Lieberman as his VP!
Then there's Bush 41 who we know learn thought of Clinton as his son. And voted for Hillary in 2016! And there's cranky ol' Bob Dole, who hated newt gingrich and was the favorite of every Leftwing MSM reporter.
I don't know what would've happened to this country if Hillary had won in 2016. Or if Trump hadn't gotten off that escalator in 2015.
I'll never forget how in 2008 how shocked I was when they floated the trial balloon of Libermann being McCain's VP. Imagine, the R nominee wanted Al Gore running mate as his running mate! And being puzzled at how "cool" Kristol, Goldberg, Lowry, Erickson, etc. were at the thought of Libermann as the McCain VP. What happened to the Conservatives I wondered. Little did I Know. LOL.
Judging by the beef prices, we must have a beef shortage in the USA. If its not a shortage of beef, why am I paying double for a rib-eye steak?

Just a few months ago Milei was a hero to the likes of Farage and Badenoch. They were wanting to imitate his economic policies.
The FX market doesn’t seem to be buying what the Mar a Largo Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent is selling.
Why is this happening? One reasonable assumption is that too many Trump political donors are exposed to losses. Trump's administration isn't really bailing out Argentina. It is bailing out Trump's donors and insulating them from losses associated with ill-advised bets.

Ironically, this is a common suggestion by cops themselves. Not for the rapes/robberies, but for the "child refuses to finish his dinner"-type calls that clog the system.
And sending cops to deal with known crazy people is necessary, but not really sufficient, to an optimum solution.
If you had Family Services and psych professionals working 3 shifts, 365 days a year, ready to respond to incidents either with or without police, based on the initial apparent threat, it probably would promote more beneficial outcomes. You might even be able to defund the police a little bit.
But of course this would require lefties talking to professionals like adults. CC, JSM
If Uncle Sam gave me $1 trillion USD, there's a pretty good chance I would also be a trillionaire.
On the other hand, if Uncle Sam gave me $1 trillion USD on the condition that I gave $800 billion to foreign creditors, I would now be $800 billion in debt with $200 billion left in reserve. The hole is deeper than it was before.
The problem that Argentina has isn't a short-term liquidity crisis.

US sanctions Russia’s Rosneft and Lukoil ~ FT
"Measures mark Donald Trump’s first effort to impose direct cost on Moscow over invasion of Ukraine"
Not sure whether sanctions are as effective as Ukraine’s Just Stop Russia's Oil refinery campaign.
WSJ is also reporting that the Trump administration has eased limits on approved targets for missile attacks inside Russia, including those using the Storm Shadow missile, which requires US targeting data, and that authority has now been shifted from the US Defense Secretary to the top U.S. general in Europe, Gen. Alexus Grynkewich, who also serves as NATO commander.
No word on whether Tomahawk missiles have been authorized for Ukraine to use, but it appears Trump is not happy with the phone call with Putin and renewed attacks on Ukraine.
This is how Trump's Middle East Peace Plan is working out. Hamas has refused to give up control of Gaza, they have refused to disarm, they have refused to disband, they have refused to give up military control of Gaza, they have refused to allow any other country to govern Gaza, and they have refused to return the rest of the dead Israelis that they tortured and murdered, and every day they publicly execute in front of cameras every person they consider an enemy. But hey, this is a GREAT VICTORY FOR DONALD TRUMP! GO MAGA!!!! He definitely deserves the Nobel Peace Prize for this. He also deserves the Nobel Peace Prize for ending the Russia/Ukraine War within 24 hours, just like he promised.

Yeah, that's not at all what he's talking about. He has said he doesn't want police responding to domestic violence calls. He'd rather women get beaten to death than permit the crime statistics to be made public in a way that reflects poorly on black or Muslim men.

“Inga: is your bruv still the police in his new job, then? That would be the other approach: to train up selected officers with intervention skills.”
Yes. And he was instrumental in starting up such a program for MPD when he was still a cop with Milwaukee.
It is no surprise that Hamas is refusing to comply with a peace deal. The thing about the peace deal, it involves more than just Israel and Hamas. Most Arab countries are just as tired of Hamas as Israel.
They were given a chance, which is what was asked “give peace a chance”. What happens next is on them. The hostages are home. Hamas will not be allowed to stay in power per the deal. They could have left in peace. Hamas refusal to comply isn’t about Trump.
October is also the most beautiful time of the year here in East Central Iowa where I live. I love it. Tonight we have our first freeze warning, with temperatures going down to 33 degrees F. So I turned on my LP gas furnace for the first time (I have a 1,000 gallon tank that I own and that I fill up during the summer fill period which has the lowest gas prices of the entire whole year), and then picked every tomato and vegetable still alive in the garden to ripen inside. Life is good.

Thank you. I try not to miss one.
I don't get how the Ukrainians are keeping Russian oil off the market and yet the price of oil keeps dropping. I guess we will actually know if the missiles are flying and actually working if the price of gas goes up again.
Russia sees it as an existential war, we can say it's not for them, but it's not our call to make. We are at a point where neither side believes that they can afford to lose, and both sides have nuclear weapons, this is not a situation that the world has ever been in before.

Leave it to Mr. True Conservative, LoneJustice, to blame Trump for the bad actions of Hamas.
I used to wonder why a conservative state like Iowa was reliably blue. And then - upon learning Mr. True Conservative admitted he used to be a Republican consultant - it became clear to me why Iowa is reliably red now.
Because the party leaders and candidates stopped listening to assholes like Mr. True Conservative.
In addition, decent people are hoping the Middle East peace deals holds. Decent people are aware there are several moving pieces - and countries - looking to contain Hamas and hold their feet to the fire. Decent people don't know how it will turn out.
On the other hand, it takes a special kind of prick to openly root for failure and continued war ... just so he can blame Trump.
As a lake bum, I love the water photos, but the landscape photos of trees and trails are also special. The composition in the second photo is excellent. Your photos are a pleasant addition to the evening, and much appreciated.
..." why am I paying double for a rib-eye steak?"
It's demand. I never even heard of rib eyes until the last couple years, and now I hear about them everyday. Somebody is eating one. Somebody wants one. They're the best. They can save your marriage or make you happy it's over. It's suddenly the most talked about food in America. Even you brought it up. I've still never eaten one, and I love steak, but I hate the fat.
OPEC production has increased more than oil demand.https://www.iea.org/reports/oil-market-report-october-2025
Being friends with the Saudis et al is helpful.
There's an article in the Atlantic that argues that the Trump administration is waging class warfare against the Professional Managerial Class, which is why he is popular among both the working class and the 'ownership' class (which, by population rather than total wealth is almost entirely composed of small business owners).
It's a decent analysis, only about 8 years late.
But the most important part of the argument is left out. Trump would not be successfully waging class warfare against the Professional Managerial Class if the Professional Managerial Class didn't suck.
But suck it does, both deeply and widely. And it is going to continue to suck until the people in it realize that they suck and try to suck less, rather than doubling down on their sucking and hoping that "improved messaging" will disguise how badly they suck at running the institutions with which they have been entrusted.
(The fundamental flaw is the idea that an itinerant management class that knows nothing about any specific institution or business can parachute in and 'manage' without knowing what they're managing. Since the class supports its own upper-level members, these people keep failing upwards even when they leave a trail of failure behind them.
There's also a weird unintentional alliance between the general identity-politics leftism of the Professional Managerial Class and the more right-ish Tech Bro ideology of algorithmizing everything).
It's demand.
Well then why isn't supply in the USA going up to meet demand? And why shouldn't argentina be allowed to export beef to the USA, since we don't have enough supply. Oh, I forgot, "the free market" only works to help big business or Big AG make more money, never to help the consumer.
If everybody wants what you are selling, you raise the price, because you already have the volume. Anybody would do the same, because when they have the choice people like more money over less money, combined with that seemingly contrary thing where some people want the expensive thing more just because it's expensive.
Ribeyes were a secret? I don't think so.
In my first job, you got a lunch credit of $5.00. On that, I used to have a ribeye sandwich, a hot fudge sundae and coffee every day. I'm not sure I could get a coffee today for that.
This is really good. Hot. "You either wanta be with me or be me. Yeah. Those are, after all, the options.
But this isn't bad either.
that seemingly contrary thing where some people want the expensive thing more just because it's expensive.
Veblen goods.
The popularity of low carb, carnivore, and high fat diets is what's relatively new, and the Ribeye is the darling of the millions in that sandbox. The influencers in that space talk about them constantly. They go from fad to fad, but the ribeye is sacred.
For the ladies; young men -- handsome, in the original meaning of the word. You'd love to get your hands on them. They're all old now. Sigh. But that first, clean rim-shot. That will always be with us.
Look! It is there!
Ribeye tasted good- and is very fatty. The two apparently go along. Best when carved off a roast- common at wedding receptions and fancy dinners.
IMHO more tasty then tenderloin. But more trouble to prepare- best when a slice is carved off the roast. Not as good when cooked as aa steak. Tenderloin is better for that.
Oh, my. I had not realized, that MacLeish's elegant, elegiac tribute to the beauty of a woman, was also a tribute to Shakespeare.
To think that yesterday, I might have stepped in front of a bus, and I'd never have known. Died, unknowing. Eh. Soon enough, I'll know no longer.

This is the more logical approach since the problem with somebody making a prediction based on a brief phone conversation is a situation which has escalated to the point of somebody contacting civil authority is not unlikely to further escalate once civil authority arrives. This would require abandonment of the 'defund the police' meme which is targeted, as Hassayamper noted, at stopping the enforcement of civil order in various communities all together, not 'right-sizing' the response to requests for assistance in dealing with problematic individuals.
The social workers might learn something, though they'll never break the lefty ranks and admit it. I watched too many lefty teachers quit in horror after a few weeks of being called vile names and subject to constant chaos, fist-fights, desk-throwing, anti-white racism, and violence against them in their classrooms, and, once they calmed down, not one of them ever said a peep about what happened to them again.
My lovely daughter graduated from a top school in PA with a teaching certificate in elementary education. She and her husband moved around a bit, before returning PA. She decided to become a substitute teacher. Upon arrival at her first sub job, they handed her a walkie-talkie in case she needed it. Apparently her class assignment was a collection of disciplinary problems. Times have changed.
So no mention of all the meat processing plants that were mysteriously torched during dark brandon’s term? No mention of the plant in PA almost entirely staffed by illegal Haitians that just shut down? Or the other ICE actions that removed thousands of illegal alien meatpackers?
Price is influenced by both supply and demand. The former is down and the latter is up. Do the math.
Forgot: The PA plant had 2000 Haitians flown in by Mayorcas! In a town of only 4000.

I'm old enough to remember when "agribusiness" and "rapacious cattle ranchers" making "corporate profits" were the scourge of the left.
But Trump...
I'm also old enough to remember that the left was screaming for someone to stop the Israelis from engaging in "genocide" in Gaza.
It stopped, and Hamas is now killing Gazans.
This is, of course, Trump's fault.
Boatbuilder; your memory is better than many on the far left, yet they act as if the world started and will end with Donald Trump, which makes him more of a messiah in their minds.
Ribeye is the most overrated steak. Give me a 2 inch cut of a bone-in chuck steak everyday of the week. So much more flavor and a better profile of amino acids due to all the connective tissue. It just takes a little bit of talent to cook it and slice it correctly so that it is tender.
I'm old enough to remember when Republicans didn't turn into whiny complaining victims even when they weren't winning at every level like they are now. It must be all that belly fat that lowers testosterone.
The most tasty meat from the three major animals that we slaughter and consume is the shoulder: the Boston butt where we get our pulled pork, the chuck steak, and chicken wings.
I read the transcript of an interview by Ezra Klein of Suzanne Mettler, re: rural versus suburban voters. He’s with the Times and she’s a political scientist, and offers this tidbit:
’ But this is where Democratic Party organizing is so needed and crucial. I remember a county chair in southern Ohio saying: Look, there’s no one here shouting from the rooftops back against Fox News: “They’re lying to you.”
So whether it’s the media or organizations, that’s the problem: In rural places, people aren’t hearing another message very strongly.’
Gosh, those rascally Republicans are the only one’s getting their story out!! It’s too bad the left can’t figure out a way to penetrate mass media…
https://archive.is/NMp1r
Eating highly marbled muscle meat from a diabetic cow overstuffed with grains isn't the best source of fat for your brain or gut.
’Give me a 2 inch cut of a bone-in chuck steak everyday of the week.’
Are you grilling that chuck steak or do your braise it? Or something else?
Beast: you hit the nail on the head. The Democrats playbook from God knows when about getting their message out educating voters correcting the lies from Fox News is the ticket to further election losses. Being hyperfocused on software and ignoring the installation of hardware that's why the Democrats are constantly driving in the ditch with mud up to their axles. You need to go back to the days of JFK and Edmund g Brown senior when Democrats actually built things that people needed to thrive and prosper.
Inga: "Butter is good for one’s gut health, it contains butyrate which fuels and repairs gut lining. So don’t skimp on the butter to pan fry your ribeye in. Just make sure your stove fan is on and use a cast iron skillet."
Inga, I love you. I take back everything I've ever said about you. (But, for the record, this is the first really intelligent and helpful thing I've heard you say.)
Boston Butts: noodle-armed Massholes.
“The most tasty meat from the three major animals that we slaughter and consume is the shoulder: the Boston butt where we get our pulled pork, the chuck steak, and chicken wings.”
I don’t buy chicken breasts anymore, only wings and legs. I make the best chicken soup from wings, I actually don’t like and can’t digest bone broth that well because of having issues with histamine, so wings make a great tasting stock, but not as high in histamine.
I do about an hour salt cure at room temperature then sear it on both sides on medium to medium high heat in a cast iron pan with some butter maybe 5-7 minutes a side. Then place in a 350°F oven for 15-20 minutes until medium rare based on the finger palm test ( a thermometer would be better but I'm a Luddite). Let it rest 10- minutes. Slice it in slabs from 1/4-3/4" thick perpendicular to the grain had an angle of about 30° from vertical
Thanks, Howard! I saw some chuck steaks at the store two weeks ago - and they looked fabulous - but have only braised them to date. Will give it a try!!
Chuck Steak can also be slow smoked with a chili powder dry rub to make the best shredded beef taco meat you've ever had.
It’s nice to see meat and butter healing the political divide. ;)
For excellent Mexican food recipes I highly recommend Rick Bayless. He is Skip Bayless's brother (the biggest asswipe in sports talk) but don't hold that against him. He has excellent videos I provide step by step methods to create some of the most tasty Mexican dishes you have ever had. Barbacoa is my favorite.

Probably because it takes anywhere from 14 to 18 months to bring a calf to market if it's fed grain. Grass fed is double that. Cows don't produce calf on demand you usually have to wait awhile. Like us. Once inseminated cows take nine months to produce a calf. Then 14 to 26 months to bring to market.
Wait. You thought hamburgers come from grocery stores?

It’s striking how deeply that kind of loyalty runs — even when the policies they support end up forcing many ranchers to adapt or look for other ways to stay afloat. For some, allegiance to the leader seems to outweigh the impact of his decisions on their own livelihoods.
I’ve often said that Trump has become less a political figure and more a kind of symbol — almost a King, or even a God-like figure. Farmers don’t blame God for droughts or floods; they adapt, endure, and work around it. Some make it, some don’t. But they never blame God.
And, it seems, they never blame Trump either.

I have a smoker. Aldi chicken breasts.(actually any cut of meat.)Aldis Teriyaki sauce. Score the chicken breasts. Dump in a large freezer bag with the whole bottle of Teriyaki sauce. Knead the sauce into the chicken. Place in the fridge for 24 hours or more. Smoke or grill. Works with any bottled sauce.

According to the DNA evidence, we are more closely related to mushrooms than we are to vegetables, which suggests an explanation for why mushroom burgers are pretty decent, almost meaty.

I’m so old I remember when gambling of any kind was illegal. We’ve come a long way baby. Next thing you know we’ll legalize illicit drugs.
I've never thought to smoke a chicken breast that's a great idea, Rusty
I hate sports gambling. Now that all of the major sports have invested heavily in the gambling syndicates, you have to be suspicious about how the outcomes are determined
80/20 ground chuck makes the best burgers, and chuck is perfect for braising, but it is just too tough for my ramshackle teeth unless braised. Lamb shoulder is also a great cut that works best slow cooked. Lamb or mutton ribs are rarely seen and very underrated. Walmart used to sell them very cheaply in Arizona, but I haven't seen them in a few years.
The left needs to quit treating Trump as a King or a Messiah; it might go to their brains.
The rest of us just voted for Trump, because we don't like political parties that appoint their candidates, want undocumented non-citizen immigrants to vote, and think unelected judges should run our government.
I make one of those huge 6 pound whole chickens in a rack on the Weber grill over a drip pan. Almost like smoked, yet still juicy and moist with crispy crackly skin, do delicious.
Mama is now citizen police.
Democrats have destroyed our nation.
For Thanksgiving, our kids will all be converging on the Airbnb farmhouse where we're staying, but unfortunately the oldest has to fly out for his 10yr class reunion on Thanksgiving Day and the youngest won't be free to leave his campus until Wednesday, so we'll only have all three for Wednesday night. We've asked whether they want traditional* Thanksgiving, or barbecue from the new Michelin star bbq place in Spring, TX. Barbecue it is!
* But we'll do more traditional Thanksgiving food Thursday and beyond for the other two, in the form of a smoked turkey. We donate to one of the auction committee for the Houston Rodeo, and because of our donation, each year we receive a "meat package" from one of several area butchers. This used to be an actual box of frozen meat; now it's a gift card to use throughout the year, which is MUCH easier to manage. The butcher we picked this year, Bellville Meat Market, is taking smoked turkey orders, and if there's a better way to serve turkey, I don't know it. Barbecue sauce instead of gravy, though.
The Hivemind loyalists think they understand the Cattle industry.
Well, here is a quick education.
I’m hungry…
Jamie, we did a Rudy's BBQ Easter Sunday one year. So many good BBQ options in Spring.

I have no doubts, just as I have no doubts that some quite likely voted for Trump because they didn’t want Critical Race Theory–teaching, trans monsters hiding under their children’s beds — ready to jab them at night with a vaccine that might turn them gay.
Jamie, when my kids were younger and lived at home, they always asked me to make Thanksgiving dinner the next day just for our family if we were invited to dinner at a relative’s home, just to make sure we had leftovers for a few days and the turkey carcass soup with egg dumplings.
Well, darn it, the acrimony has now returned at the mention of "egg dumplings"! Those things are just noodles. Proper dumplings are the biscuit ones.
(Actually I love "egg dumplings" but I do maintain they're just noodles. Fricking delicious noodles, especially in turkey soup, but noodles nonetheless.)
“Well, darn it, the acrimony has now returned at the mention of "egg dumplings"! Those things are just noodles. Proper dumplings are the biscuit ones.”
Haha! But if you’re a northerner and of German/Hungarian heritage it would be almost sacrilegious to put biscuit dough in turkey carcass soup!😲
A CNN report from 2010:
$376 million White House renovation during the Obama Administration.
Where was the Democrat outrage then?"

I guess Ronald doesn’t have any recipes to share.
I detest the widespread availability of sports betting and now events are proving my feelings correct. Gambling can addict people just like drugs and alcohol. Why the NBA and NFL got in bed with wagering sites is beyond me.
But the money must be good if a player with a $100Million contract still cheats for money.
“I guess Ronald doesn’t have any recipes to share.”
Maybe Peachy doesn’t know how to cook…
Beasts — no recipes today. Just pointing out that fear is still the main ingredient in too many political diets. Kind of a reminder that some folks have been living off conspiracy stew for years.

What I find interesting about this is that the story of Christ is as close to teaching stoicism to a mass audience as you can get and still gain some amount of acceptance.
Unfortunately I waited until the Army taught me stoicism. It had a different way to teach it. Christ did a better job.

Says the retard that calls Trump a fascist and a racist with zero self awareness.
Everything from them being projection, we can count on the Dems trying to keep their next President in office for more than two terms. 100% guaranteed. Trump has redefined the Presidency with more vigor and power, and the Dems will use that for evil and illegal purposes in the future. It's just who they are.
Conspiracy Stew would be a great name for a band, Ronald. :)
Also about Conspiracy Stew.
Democrat voters are all fucking retards that sucked up the Russian Collusion hoax like idiots. You morons ran with Russia and Trump stealing the 2016 for 6 years and spent millions of dollars lying to courts and spying on political opponents.
And now you run around talking about how your political opponents and eating conspiracy stew.
If you had more than a 90 IQ you would be very embarrassed by your own stupidity.
Thanks, Achilles — always nice to see emotion overpower reason. But if we’re talking awareness, calling out fascism when we see authoritarian behavior is kind of the definition of it.
Bagoh20 — I’m not sure which is the bigger conspiracy, that Democrats secretly plan eternal rule, or that Trump somehow didn’t already try.
And Beasts — Conspiracy Stew actually would make a great band name. I imagine their biggest hit would be “Fear Is the Flavor.”

italics off? Sorry
Achilles — nice try, but I’m not much into mud wallowing today.
I appreciate the passion, but anger isn’t an argument. The Russia investigation wasn’t a “hoax” — it produced dozens of indictments, guilty pleas, and convictions. Even setting that aside, the irony remains: shouting insults while defending conspiracies doesn’t make them less of a stew.
You’re proving my point about the stew. The recipe is always the same: one part rage, one part denial, a dash of “everyone else is stupid.” The louder the insults, the thinner the argument.
Thanks for contributing another ingredient.
Beasts — exactly! And the encore? “Spiced with Misinformation,” featuring a guest appearance by Anxiety. Guaranteed to leave everyone talking… and maybe questioning the recipe.
Bagoh - 100% right on.
The difference, of course, is that the Right's conspiracies comes true, and the Left's truth is really conspiracy. See Russia hoax, Jan.6th., and a parade of others.
Bite me. I'm a solid vegetarian cook.
that said, I made delicious beef barley and bean soup for my elderly father. Splurged on a nice quality cut of beef from Whole Foods. He needs to eat a high iron diet. I made the soup with a bacon base. Turns out he doesn't like bacon. I said - wha? Since when?
There's not a single issue in US politics, not one, more important than the fact that there will be no SNAP and no WIC starting November 1st due to the shutdown. People will be hungry. This must be fixed. It must. It is the only thing that matters right now.
Bagoh, that’s an interesting spin — but if the ‘Russia hoax’ was fake, it’s odd that it produced over 30 indictments, several guilty pleas, and a bipartisan Senate report confirming Moscow’s interference to help Trump.
As for Jan. 6, we all saw it — the broken windows, the gallows, and the chants to hang the Vice President. No conspiracy theory required.
Maybe the real pattern isn’t Left vs. Right truth, but which side keeps needing to rename proven facts as ‘hoaxes”.
The best lesson in stocisim I learnt was body surfing at Zuma Beach at the age of 6. Diving under mountains of water over and over again until you are completely exhausted and then the big set wave comes in and you get pounded in the sand filled washing machine for what seems like an eternity. You have to relax into the carbon dioxide panic.
Point me to the evidence that Russia worked to get Trump elected, Ronald. You can't. Most of those indictments were either against people who will never appear in court to contest the evidence, Russian nationals, and the rest were for things unrelated to Russian election interference.
But as a method to bog down the Trump Administration for two years based on charges that Hillary Clinton payed to have cooked up out of whole cloth, which the CIA knew on the first day, it was a rousing success.
Which person was convicted, or pled guilty to acting in the pay of the Russians to get Trump elected?
If Trump, or one of his allies had misreported a campaign expense as a legal expense, the way Hillary lied about the money she paid to have the "dossier" invented, he would not have faced a small fine, the way she did, but prison. We both know that.
Yes, the Clinton campaign did pay for the Steele report. Multiple sources confirm that both Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign and the Democratic National Committee (DNC) funded the research that became known as the Steele dossier [1] [2] [3] [4]. The funding was channeled through the law firm Perkins Coie, which acted as an intermediary [3] [4] [5].
The Federal Election Commission investigated this arrangement and found that the Clinton campaign and DNC violated campaign finance law by misreporting their spending on this research. Both organizations agreed to pay $113,000 in fines to settle the FEC investigation [2]. The dossier was compiled by Christopher Steele, a former British intelligence officer, and contained allegations about Donald Trump's ties to Russia [1].

Thank you for proving my point.
Hillary Clinton hired a Russian spy and created the Steele Dossier which the FBI at the time deemed a complete fabrication. Barrack Obama and Hillary Clinton continued to work with foreign agents like Steele and used that fake intelligence to lie to FISA courts and spy on the current President of the United States and instigate a fraudulent investigation and fishing expedition where they got people to plead to process crimes.
For retards like Ronald that is the definition of Treason and Fascism.

Your problem is you can't deal with facts. You just say things with no underlying reason, logic, or support.
You are not very smart. Nobody thinks you are. You are just an idiot that can't be honest and likes to sniff his own farts.
Ron Ward - we all saw Jan 6th - everyone in black was a FED.
Putin chose not to leak the most damaging and compromising material on Hillary Clinton prior to the election; instead planning to release it after the election to weaken what Moscow viewed would be an inevitable Clinton presidency. If Russia wanted to help Donald Trump get elected, they would have released this material prior to the election to harm the Clinton campaign.

Shorter Ronald: That we abused the legal system to get Trump supporters on unrelated charges proves Trump is guilty!
That Select Committee report competes with the Warren Report for making confident assertions that have completely fallen apart over time.
Ron Ward - Explain to us who this guy is. the man in full face covering wearing black.
BTW, we gave a neonazi, Navalny, $20 million dollars to run against Putin, then screamed bloody murder when Russia finally put him in prison. You know who attended the same fellows program as Navalny at Yale? The most recent Nobel Peace Prize winner. Whenever you see somebody propped up as the legitimate ruler of some country we want to take over, google their name and Yale. Works for Belarus too.
Jaq, it’s unclear why we’re still beating this dead horse. But then again, we’re still dealing with election denial, J6 a tour guide, and ICE looking for actual criminals while abiding by constitutional norms. But back to this dead horse, here is what the actual evidence shows — not media spin, but from official U.S. intelligence and bipartisan congressional findings.
Every major U.S. intelligence agency agreed Russia interfered.
The January 2017 Intelligence Community Assessment (FBI, CIA, NSA) concluded that ‘Russia’s goal was to undermine public faith in the U.S. democratic process, denigrate Secretary Clinton, and harm her electability and potential presidency.’
It explicitly said Russia ‘developed a clear preference for President-elect Trump.’
The Senate Intelligence Committee — led by Republicans — confirmed it.
Their 2020 final report (over 900 pages, chaired by Sen. Richard Burr (R-NC)) found that Russia conducted an extensive campaign to help Trump and that the Trump campaign’s contacts with Russians were “a grave counterintelligence threat.”
Burr himself said: “One of the Committee’s most important findings is that Russia’s aggressive interference efforts should be considered the new normal.”
The interference was proven, not based on the Steele dossier.
The Mueller investigation barely relied on the dossier. The core evidence came from intercepts, hacked materials, social media disinformation traced to the Internet Research Agency (a Russian government contractor), and the GRU’s theft and timed release of Democratic emails through WikiLeaks.
The indictments were specific and detailed.
13 Russian nationals and 3 companies (Internet Research Agency, et al.) for interfering in U.S. elections.
12 GRU officers for hacking DNC and Clinton campaign servers.
Trump associates like Manafort, Gates, Flynn, Stone, and Papadopoulos pled guilty or were convicted of related crimes—mostly lying to investigators about Russian contacts.
None were charged as “agents of Russia” because U.S. law requires proof of intent and direction from the Kremlin—but the pattern of contact and concealment is well documented.
No U.S. agency ever said “no interference.”
What they said was there wasn’t sufficient evidence to prove a criminal conspiracy between Trump and Russia. That’s very different from saying Russia didn’t interfere.
Hillary’s campaign and the dossier.
The Steele dossier was opposition research—legal, though politically funded, and only a small part of the early probe. The FBI’s investigation actually began when Trump adviser George Papadopoulos bragged to an Australian diplomat that Russia had dirt on Clinton months before the public knew.
So, to answer your question directly, Jaq: the evidence that Russia worked to help Trump isn’t a mystery—it’s laid out in detail by our own intelligence agencies and a GOP-led Senate committee. The dossier wasn’t the source, and nobody was charged with a crime simply for benefiting from a foreign operation.
The bottom line is: Russia acted to help Trump, U.S. intelligence proved it, and denying it doesn’t change that record.
Can't be Antifa, Peachy, because we live on magic dirt, where for the first time in recorded history, agent provocateurs can't exist, which is then proof positive that they guy is MAGA, after all, you can see him right there doing bad stuff, and MAGA is bad, because everybody says so.
Ron Ward - "Election denial." Is that against the law.
If so - do explain.
Ron Ward - A lot of dedicated leftists deny that Trump actually won the election in 2016 and in 2024.
Is that OK?
I didn't ask for a cut and paste of media summaries, and findings from proven liars like Brennen at the CIA, who, I think, just got indicted for lying about Russiagate.
I asked for a specific instance of a person who pled guilty, or was convicted of acting on Russia's orders to get Trump elected over Hillary. Since this dead horse has bean beaten, I am sure that you have such an obvious piece of information ready to hand.
And how do you explain how Russia withheld evidence of Hillary's criminality? After all, Putin had given Hillarys "Foundation" $200 million to get his Uranium deal passed. Why would he want somebody else than a person he had successfully bribed in the past?
Achilles, thanks for the offer but you’ve already contributed that ingredient. Your passion is noted, but personal attacks don’t replace evidence.
I laid out facts: indictments, guilty pleas, and convictions from the Russia investigation. The rest of your claims are unverified assertions. Name-calling doesn’t make them true.
Jaq -
The left promote, create, build and then deny.
The left and the left's minions are all corrupt evil lying liars who lie.
leftists are full of shit. They lie to each other and themselves - and they sniff their own buttholes and call that magic.
The Mueller report in a nutshell. "We thought Trump was guilty - but could never really prove it."
Jaq, when you ask for ‘someone convicted of acting on Russia’s orders to get Trump elected’ — you’re asking for a specific legal case of a U.S. person or campaign actor, under Russian direction, convicted for election‑helping. That exact scenario doesn’t exist in the public record.
But if you step back from that phrasing, the evidence is clear that Russia intervened in 2016, hacked, leaked, ran influence ops, and did so in a way their own intelligence judged was intended to help Trump and hurt Clinton. So the question is less about ‘a perfect conviction fitting your phrasing’ and more about “What did Russia try to do, and what did the Trump campaign do with what was offered or made available?”
Putin actually said that he wanted Hillary to win.
While Hillary was Obama's Secretary of State - she set up and used a Private Server to hide her dirty deals. One of those deals was A Russian Uranium deal that poured millions into the Clinton Foundation. NYT:
Cash Flowed to Clinton Foundation Amid Russian Uranium Deal
Putin went to war with Ukraine during Crook Joe.
Ron is of the school that if the media says so, it must be true, and so ground truth facts are not required to make a case.
Even though I showed him, the other day, that the outfit behind No Kings, based on their own website, and Soros's own website, is preponderantly funded by a few mega donors, AKA oligarchs, he still insists that the media who told him that it wasn't can't be trusted, and the media that reported it are into "Russian propaganda."
The phony Steele Dosier is what started the entire manufactured Lie that Putin hacked our election system and somehow got Trump to win over a very unpopular and hated Hillary.
"That exact scenario doesn’t exist in the public record."
Of course not.
"and did so in a way their own intelligence judged was intended to help Trump and hurt Clinton."
Can you tell me how that was proven?
The Jan 6th committee was pardoned by Crook Joe's autopen.
How strange? don't ask questions. It's illegal.
irector of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe on Tuesday declassified documents that revealed former CIA Director John Brennan briefed former President Obama on Hillary Clinton’s purported “plan” to tie then-candidate Donald Trump to Russia as “a means of distracting the public from her use of a private email server” ahead of the 2016 presidential election, Fox News has learned.
Ratcliffe declassified Brennan’s handwritten notes – which were taken after he briefed Obama on the intelligence the CIA received – and a CIA memo, which revealed that officials referred the matter to the FBI for potential investigative action.
https://www.foxnews.com/politics/dni-brennan-notes-cia-memo-clinton
Remember how they only allowed members who already agreed that it was an insurrection, and that Trump was behind it, on that House Committee. If you didn't already believe that Trump was guilty, you were a traitor to this country, and not allowed to serve.
That's how our system of justice has always worked, you only accept jurors who believe that the defendant is guilty, right?
Howard: “ relax into the carbon dioxide panic.”
This should be the next masthead motto. CC, JSM
Obviously, Ron, you don't understand any of it, you just keep cutting and pasting, and furiously googling, but if you understood it, you could answer questions as easily as Peachy does, because she has obviously spent a lot of time looking into the facts, not just believing what she has been told.
I can't believe RJW is still touting the now-entirely-discredited Jan. 2017 report as "evidence." The report that - at Obama's direction - replaced the intelligence agencies' original conclusion that there was no significant Russian interference in the election (eh, a few ad buys), much less any Russian "preference" for Trump, with the far more useful but unfounded "conclusion" that of course Putin wanted Trump to win, and pulled all sorts of very effective shenanigans to bring about that result.
Obama specifically asked for the December intelligence report to be changed - to be negated, and replaced with its own opposite - to reflect the story he wanted to tell. No Kings! Except Obama!
Jaq, fair question and forgive the copy & paste (which I know is not what you asked for and don’t want to consider) but I’ve been doing some digging since your last response and here’s how that judgment was proven and documented, step by step.
Digital Forensics:
Independent cybersecurity firms (like CrowdStrike, hired by the DNC) traced the hacks of Democratic emails to two Russian military intelligence units, GRU 26165 and 74455. The FBI later confirmed the same digital fingerprints — identical malware, command-and-control servers, and working hours matching Moscow time.
Intercepted Communications & Human Intelligence:
U.S. and allied intelligence agencies (including the NSA and GCHQ in the UK) intercepted communications showing Russian officials discussing the leaks and celebrating their political impact.
Russian State Media & Troll Operations:
The Internet Research Agency, funded by Yevgeny Prigozhin, ran thousands of fake social‑media accounts impersonating Americans — explicitly designed to divide U.S. voters and boost Trump. Their internal instructions, seized in Mueller’s investigation, literally said: ‘Use any opportunity to criticize Hillary and the rest (except Sanders and Trump — we support them).’
Timing of Leaks:
Russian hackers didn’t just steal data — they released it strategically. GRU officers dumped DNC and Clinton campaign emails through WikiLeaks at moments when Trump’s campaign was struggling (for instance, hours after the Access Hollywood tape dropped). That timing wasn’t random.
U.S. Intelligence Consensus:
All 17 intelligence agencies signed off on the 2017 Intelligence Community Assessment, which concluded — unanimously — that Russia’s actions were “to help President‑elect Trump’s election chances when possible.” The Senate Intelligence Committee (chaired by Republicans) later independently reviewed the raw intelligence and affirmed that conclusion.
Russia’s Own Statements:
Putin himself admitted in 2018 that he wanted Trump to win because “he spoke about normalizing relations with Russia.” That’s direct confirmation of motive, aligning with what the U.S. detected in real time.
So the conclusion wasn’t based on the Steele dossier or anonymous media claims — it came from technical forensics, intercepted communications, and timing analysis corroborated by multiple independent and bipartisan investigations.
We can debate what it all means politically, but pretending it wasn’t proven is rewriting a record established by both intelligence and evidence.
"CrowdStrike, hired by the DNC"
Isn't that the company that somehow maintains that Russia got those emails through some kind of internet wormhole that could offload those files from the sever with the same speed that they could have been downloaded to a memory card inserted into a USB connection?
"GRU officers dumped DNC and Clinton campaign emails through WikiLeaks at moments when Trump’s campaign was struggling (for instance, hours after the Access Hollywood tape dropped). That timing wasn’t random."
Where is the evidence for this exactly. I mean I know that there are a lot of assertions being made, but where is the evidence that Russia did it, exactly. Not statement from "20 Intelligence Experts" who were lying through their teeth, we now know, but actual evidence.
I can pretty much lip sync the responses in advance but the real issue isn’t ‘whose word you trust.’ It’s that dismissing multiple independent investigations — bipartisan, technical, and documented — as personal vendettas ignores the weight of publicly available evidence. Hacking logs, intercepted communications, and social-media influence campaigns all point to Russian interference intended to help one candidate.
That’s not opinion, it’s verifiable fact.
Oh yeah, and none of their data on which this company, CrowdStrike hired by the DNC, based their findings has been entered into the public record, to my knowledge. Maybe I am wrong, I am sure you can point me to it.
You said "documented" so tell me where is the documented proof that Russia hacked the DNC server.
The emails from the DNC server showed how Hillary had shived Bernie Sanders, and it seems that without actual documented evidence, rather than the word of a company hired by the DNC, the far more likely thing is that a Sanders supporter, like that young man who was murdered and not robbed on the streets of DC, is a more likely explanation.
Jaq, we can keep dissecting each detail, but in fairness — you asked me to provide evidence that Russia worked to ensure a Trump victory and that Trump and his allies were victims of a deliberate hoax. I feel I’ve done that.
So let me turn the same question back to you: what specifically is the truth you hold that supports your case? Because what I’m hearing sounds rooted in the familiar narratives — that a “deep state” (CIA, FBI, DOJ, etc.) worked with Democrats to create the hoax, that every official report confirming Russian interference is politically motivated and false, and that independent investigations aren’t truly independent.
I also sense that for you, media verification equals corruption and anonymous sources equal fabrication.
If so, that truth isn’t evidence‑based — it’s identity‑based. It suggests truth depends on who says it, not what the evidence shows.
Of course, that’s just my interpretation of your position, because you haven’t stated it directly. I’d honestly welcome you to clarify — or, as they say, prove me wrong.
"I feel I’ve done that"
Whatever. You are the one who said that it was "documented" that the Russians hacked the DNC server, and I told you that CrowdStrike never submitted the server into evidence, but only provided their conclusions, and they they had large contracts with the DNC which would be in jeopardy if they gave the wrong "conclusions."
So my simple question to you is "was the DNC server submitted to independent analysis by law enforcement, or does the "conclusion" rest on the statement of a private company with a large incentive to lie.
It's an extremely simple question, you yourself claimed that the proof it was Russia was "documented."
Jaq, I’ve answered your broader claim with the same publicly documented sources used by multiple investigations — FBI, DOJ, the Mueller team, and even the Republican‑led Senate Intelligence Committee.
You’re now narrowing it down to one physical server, which sounds like a shift rather than an answer to the larger question. No single server defines the evidence of Russian interference — the digital forensics, timing of leaks, GRU officer indictments, and corroborating intelligence all fit the same pattern.
But since you’re asking me for documentation, let’s keep it consistent: where are your receipts for your case?
– That CrowdStrike lied?
– That the DNC fabricated its own hack?
– That Russia had no motive or involvement?
Because you’ve said these things with equal certainty — so let’s see your evidence, not assumptions.
Fair’s fair. I’ve shown you mine; now you show yours.
Jaq asked:
Where is the evidence for this exactly. I mean I know that there are a lot of assertions being made, but where is the evidence that Russia did it, exactly. Not statement from "20 Intelligence Experts" who were lying through their teeth, we now know, but actual evidence.
Well:
In December 2017, CrowdStrike president Shawn Henry testified (declassified in 2020):
“We did not have concrete evidence that data was exfiltrated from the DNC.”
The only evidence was the activity that Crowdstrike thought and claimed was Russian hacking. There was never "concrete evidence that data was exfiltrated from the DNC". It is possible Russia never needed to exfiltrate anything from the DNC, since Hillary was already working for them.
In other news, the Biden Administration didn't prosecute John Bolton, because the hard evidence that Bolton was mishandling classified evidence came from an IC hack of Iranian servers which had copies of John Bolton's family emails with classified information. The Biden Administration didn't want to divulge the hack of Iranian servers. That's an example of concrete evidence.
Written by Dumb Fuck Chuck: Kind of a reminder that some folks have been living off conspiracy stew for years. while still claiming the DNC emails were hacked by Russia. Nobody knows what any of the emails said. Not even one cooking recipe, that Hillary claimed was the whole reason for her bathroom server.
Leland, that quote from Shawn Henry gets clipped a lot, but in full context he said their conclusion didn’t change—that the intrusion was consistent with Russian GRU operations.
The Senate Intelligence Committee—Republican‑led, not “20 experts”—reviewed the same forensics, including GRU officer indictments, and reached the same conclusion. That’s the actual evidentiary chain.
But I’m curious: what’s your alternative explanation?
If it wasn’t Russian intelligence, who carried out the intrusion and how do you know?
Because tossing out every investigation without presenting a coherent alternative isn’t skepticism—it’s just disbelief.
So you post a wall of text, and in it you make an assertion that the evidence that the Russians hacked the DNC was documented, and now that it's plain that it isn't, well, your claim never rested on that anyway?
Why don't you do us a favor and tell us *which* of your assertions actually is proven, in your opinion, because I promise you, they can all be torn down just as easily.
Why did the CIA chief Brennen lie to Congress about Russiagate if the evidence was so strong? Why did he feel the need to lie?
"Because tossing out every investigation without presenting a coherent alternative isn’t skepticism—it’s just disbelief."
What wut? If I demonstrate that the "findings" of those clearly partisan investigations don't hold up, that's not enough? I have to prove what really happened?
In Ron's world, if the government says you are guilty, you have to prove, not only that you didn't do it, but like Perry Mason, who was fictional, BTW, you have to prove who actually did it?
Here is the coherent explanation, a cabal of Democrats, angry that they have lost the power of the presidency, and control over trillions in spending and of the US military, conspired together to frame Trump for something that never happened, in order to tie his hands. Part of the evidence for this is that the whole Mueller infestigation was based on lies that were known to be lies on day one, before the infestigation was even started by Comey, who lied to Congress on the matter too, just like Brennen.
Jaq — let’s separate claims from assumptions.
Russian interference in 2016 is documented: multiple intelligence agencies (FBI, NSA, CIA) confirmed social media campaigns, hacked emails, and distribution of stolen material. That’s fact, not opinion.
The investigation produced indictments and guilty pleas — that does not prove Trump personally colluded. Questions about whether Brennan lied are allegations; the public record shows disagreements over interpretation and what could be disclosed, not proven lies.
Bottom line: documented interference happened, and the investigation had real consequences. Challenging interpretations is fair, but dismissing the evidence as a “hoax” misrepresents the record.
