Tweeted JD Vance.
What did this guy write? NBC News has this:
The Wall Street Journal said it reviewed archived posts from a deleted X account used by [25-year-old Marko] Elez in which he posted messages such as “Just for the record, I was racist before it was cool” and, “You could not pay me to marry outside of my ethnicity... Normalize Indian hate.”
ADDED: Do not refer to Elez as "Big Balls"! Big Balls is Edward Coristine, and he's only 19 years old. So maybe you shouldn't be calling him that. You creeps.

“Just for the record, I was racist before it was cool.”
Is he talking about before US Rep. Jasmine Crockett made being racist cool?
Diversity (e.g. racism) or DEI (i.e. institutional, systemic Diversity)?
It sounds like a joke to me. All the opposite of what would be expected of a racist, hence the joke.
It that's all they've got. Look for a termination lawsuit. If he was racist, you would see it conspicuously in the pattern of postings and comments - Lots of liked humor, forwarded posts, derogatory terms, etc. People on the left have much more upfront racism and misandry. And, unless you are in HR or have hiring and firing authority, or are harassing people at work, mostly this should not matter.
I love that the former Business Insider (now WSJ) reporter was doxxed right back.
Glad I was his age back in the 1980's with no internet to record all the stupid and offensive shit I said.
Do not refer to Elez as "Big Balls"! Big Balls is Edward Coristine, and he's only 19 years old.
I've got big balls
I've got big balls
They're such big balls
And they're dirty big balls
And he's got big balls
And she's got big balls
(But we've got the biggest balls of them all)
Of note; the Left has lately stopped imploring us to listen to the "wisdom" and "fresh ideas" of the young haven't they?
Titanium Testes?
Big Balls the size of Small Balls?
Elez is Bophides.
"It sounds like a joke to me."
The people making hay are chronically unfunny people.
I don't particularly like Indian food. I'd probably not want to marry an Indian woman and end up with home cooked samosas or whatever. If I were younger, I wouldn't object to having sex with a good looking Indian woman, but marriage is out. These are my views on the matter. I realize such views make me unfit for government service, but there they are........Vance is married to an Indian woman and has sort of Indian children. If he can shrug off such comments, why can"t the WSJ reporter.
I agree. The bully left need to be fired.
Cancelling people because they're "racist" or "antisemites" or "insert being protected class" is stupid. You're giving the Left - or various interests groups - a weapon to destroy people they don't like. And most of those are associated with the Right or the Center.
If the Left liked Elon Musk, you never would've heard about this tweet. But the guy is associated with the new Hate Object of the Left - Elon Musk.
And who has the time/money go rummaging through obscure people's social media to find "racism" or "bad think"? Its the left because they own the media and have a large number of NGOs.
Of course, you can be a principled conservadumbo and say "I dont care if the Left gets a pass, and we're only ones who get cancelled, I still think..." I mean you, if you want to lose. Lose!
So now it's OK for government executives to rifle through career government employees social media to look for things to use to fire them? That should be a very useful program for Trump and his new tech oligarch buddies.
This will only change when people say enough is enough. Will they? I dunno. And another thing, offering a defense buy into the Lefts assumption that if he really was a "racist" he deserved to get cancelled. that's why giving the Left a 40 page memo on why "He's not a racist" never works. They NEVER back off and go "Yeah, sorry. Guess we were wrong". NEVER.
You need to attack the underlying assumption that being "racist" is enough to get you cancelled.
The funniest example of how the Left operates occured years ago with Matt Ygelsisis and SCOTUS blog.
Matt didn't like the blogger at "SCOTUS Blog" and called him a racist. The guy said "Im no racist, why blah blah how can you say that" and Matt called him a racist again. Then the guy said "why no one hates racism more than me, why blah blah, Ive marched with civil rights leader X". And Matt just called him a racist again.
Finally, the SCOTUS blogger guy just ran away and stopped defending himself. And Matt had the final word and said "Just as I thought, he's a racist".
People who comb through social media posts of people when they were young are garbage. No decency. Let’s go after them.
I listened to a clip this morning from CNN, I think, that basically hinted that Musk was a pederast and this kid was a catamite. Well, he didn't use those words, the guy probably doesn't even know them, he just implied it.
A majority of America is done with the lying media playing judge, jury, and executioner. Their fake holier than though moral superiority makes everyone want to puke.
Relative to the actual corruption and crimes Musk's Peter Pan young DOGE team in uncovering, this is all chicken shit.
There once was a man from Belfast,
Whose balls were made of brass.
When in stormy weather,
They clanged together,
And lighting shot out of his ass.
When I hear the term "Big Balls", I think of this Disney product.
@Iman: "I love that the former Business Insider (now WSJ) reporter was doxxed right back. "
Things are not necessarily what they seem.
Just cancelled WSJ. I refuse to support a media outlet that engages in doxxing. It's dangerous and reckless. Especially for the reasons that they are doing it.
Just straightening up.
>“You could not pay me to marry outside of my ethnicity"<
I'm at a loss to understand what is wrong with that statement. It has been said, in essence, by many billions of people over the millennia, right up to this day. And it conveys a very normal human sentiment. BFD.
Big Balls is Edward Coristine, and he's only 19 years old. So maybe you shouldn't be calling him that. You creeps. However I'd be young Mr. Coristine is enjoying his 15-minutes of Big Ball fame. What 19-year-old wouldn't? Especially if he assigned himself the pseudonym .
>“You could not pay me to marry outside of my ethnicity"<
I'm at a loss to understand what is wrong with that statement.
It the setup for a joke, it's against Indians where you expect blacks.
I cancelled my WSJ subscription this month already. Even before this.
Elon Musk 1 hour ago:
He will be brought back.
To err is human, to forgive divine.
I don't like cancel culture. Everyone makes mistakes online, especially if they're young. When it comes to art, the art needs to be judged on the art alone and not the artist's personal life.
I know many people who refuse to watch some really great films because someone involved, high up, in the project was rumored to be a jerk.
Someone actually gave me a really nice box set of all the Harry Potter movies because they disliked J.K.Rowling's opinion on the trans debate. J.K. Rowling is such a small part of that film franchise, it's not even funny. (Just think about all the hours that all those people in the credits put in to make that film.) Plus, J.K. Rowling had already made her money on the sale of that box set, so this gesture was totally pointless.
BTW, here is a song about creeps. It is by The Swamp Zombies (one of my favorite SoCal bands in the 1990s) and it's from their album, Scratch and Sniff Car Crash.

Hoisted by their Diversity dilemma. That said, wield a scalpel, get scalped. #SchumerToo #HateLovesAbortion
Love hearing the black females crying racism about someone saying they will not marry outside their race while at the same time whining and bitching about black men marrying white women. But never let something like that get in the way of calling someone racist for political reasons. You can’t shame a Democrat.
It would be great if we actually moved away from cancel culture and admit that no one is perfect and we all make mistakes. I won’t hold my breath.
DOGE should be renamed BIG BALLS.
Guess who/ what made racism "cool" to a kid that age. Hint - it might be DEI/Liberals/Dems/MSN.
ABC news was on in the nail salon this morning. Glancing up at the closed captions while I was listening on my phone to joe Rogan interview Bret Weinstein was next level parallel universe. As Joe is ticking off truly bizarre ginormous USAID outlays, following the breadcrumbs to collusion between academe, the media, ngos, and George soros, I’m watching abc’s newsroom focus exclusively on ELON. They have NOTHING to say about the avalanche of evidence of widespread corruption and propaganda that has been going on for a generation. Apparently they’re just going with giving Elon the Trump 1.0 treatment, with investigations, speculations and lawfare. I hope The Folks see through it.
Standing up for one of the Doge Boy Scouts is a great start.
Sounds like he'd fit in as a vice chair of the DNC.
The black whore h/t NAACP, you say. Raise the albinophobic banner, bray the albinophobic rhetoric. Excess murder, rape... rape-rape (a hole is a hole, of course, of course), displacement, too. Throw another "burden" h/t Obama on the barbie, hate and extremism are progressive.
I see where Musk's team is at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau now. Curious what they will find, I imagine this will be interesting.
Trump says White House needs to add Ball Room. Because of the DOGE boys there's not enough.
What I found concerning was, the "journalist" was able to find posts from an old deleted account. How did she do that? Did she use her contacts at USAID(CIA)?
"We shouldn’t reward journalists who try to destroy people. Ever. ~ VP Vance
This seems like a reframe. The focus is being shifted from the beliefs of the person in question to how they were exposed.
"If he’s a bad dude or a terrible member of the team, fire him for that." ~ VP Vance
What is a "bad dude'?
How dare VP Vance have boundaries.
OTOH -- Trump brought Vance back after he called Trump Hitler.
The guy posted on X under a pseudonym and that account had already been deleted on X before joining DOGE and his doxing. So, it wasn't a matter of looking through old social media posts. Someone had to provide the reporter with old posts from a deleted account made under a pseudonym and tie it to Elez. I vote for the CIA as pay back for USAID
Did Musk's little friends pass Federal background checks? I don't care about what they posted online at all, but it's stupid if we're trusting Musk regarding their clearance.
Enlighten NewJersey @ 5:54 makes a valid point. I'm guessing that one (or more) of the many former Twitter employees might also collude on something like this.
This seems like a reframe. The focus is being shifted from the beliefs of the person in question to how they were exposed.
Mirroring the initial reframe of the last bunch of years where the focus is shifted from the statement of the commenter to the past beliefs of the commenter. Whatever this guys views may have been in the past, or may currently be, USAID still spend around $40 million on Politico etc.
You could not pay me to marry outside of my ethnicity either.
I did it for love.
I married twice (!) out of my ethnicity. So where's my pay?
Lilly, a dog: "Did Musk's little friends pass Federal background checks? I don't care about what they posted online at all, but it's stupid if we're trusting Musk regarding their clearance."
What do you mean "we're". You got a mouse in your pocket?
Tell you what, why dont you cart your little rear end over to Maxine Waters Central and volunteer to find out?
Mason G: "I see where Musk's team is at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau now. Curious what they will find, I imagine this will be interesting."
Indeed. The more the DOGE team exposes, the more the usual suspects (LLR-democratical Rich, lilly, et al) squeal like stuck pigs.
https://www.mercurynews.com/2025/02/07/melania-and-ivanka-trump-praised-usaid-for-funding-their-white-house-projects-reports/
“Six years before Donald Trump declared the US Agency for International Development a “tremendous fraud” and ordered it to be dismantled, his wife, Melania Trump, and daughter, Ivanka Trump, promoted “successful” USAID programs that they supported in Africa.“
Both Melania and Ivanka promoted USAID, both on foreign countries and even for events in the White House events.
He wasn't selected to be a moral exemplar on-line - he was picked because of his expertise. I don't care what he tweeted. I don't care what his views are. I don't see how they're relevant to what he's doing - which is exposing waste and corruption.
I don't demand purity in the people who are doing a necessary job.
1. Melania and Ivanka promoted USAID.
2. Six years later, Donald Trump declared the US Agency for International Development a “tremendous fraud” and ordered it to be dismantled.
Ok. And?
Were Melania and Ivanka supposed to travel forward in time in order to make sure USAID wouldn't do anything to undermine their trust? Or what?
"The more the DOGE team exposes, the more the usual suspects (LLR-democratical Rich, lilly, et al) squeal like stuck pigs."
If the things you're doing are all legal and aboveboard, exposing them shouldn't be an issue, should it? And there'd be no reason to be upset about that exposure, would there?
Big Balls -- a legend is born. You can't buy publicity like that, locks in the male Zoomer vote for the next three elections.
Drago, I notice that you don't have an answer as to whether they've passed background checks. I can't find an answer to that question in any reporting. I know that it doesn't matter to you, so why don't you stick it up your ass.
Because the DOGE operation has been sprung on us all of a sudden doesn't mean it's impromptu. The speed with which Trump's operations have taken place suggests that they have been planned for some time. The young men on Musk's team were not just picked up on a street corner, but were searched for and vetted, without a lot of publicity.
This is obviously a stupid, bad-faith argument, just like the whole "What he's doing is illegal!" and "No one elected Elon!" screeching.
The President can appoint anyone he wants to be a "Special Government Employee" for 130 days, and since he is free to ignore anything found in a background check and still choose to appoint the person, yammering about "What about background checks?!?" is a red herring.
That said, you can't work for a defense contractor without passing a background check. Since they previously worked for Space X, they were background-checked.
But that doesn't actually matter.
So please spare us the ridiculous hyperventilating, which sounds a lot like the idiotic "Russian asset!! OMG!!!" garbage from a few years back.
@Inga sez: "Both Melania and Ivanka promoted USAID...."
That's a 'so what?' answer, there. Nobody is saying that USAID has no useful purpose, or that it does absolutely no productive or useful work. Many people are saying that much of its work is either money laundering or diversion of funds to political projects, supporting an agenda.
Your comment is pure, diversionary what-aboutism. Ain't gonna work.
I guess I wonder whether "I wouldn't marry outside my race" is the same as "I wouldn't marry outside my ethnicity." Race is biologically fixed; ethnicity is a set of cultural behaviors learned from one's immediate relations and changed over one's lifetime. The one is fixed; the other changes in every generation - isn't that how it is? And, because there are these generational changes, it is quite possible to find someone who shares your "ethnicity", your own beliefs on behaviors and values but who comes from a different race. For example, it used to be the case that an Irishman would have such different behaviors and expectations from those of an Itaiian that it would not seem likely that the two would be happy together whereas now both would be seen as Europeans.
Or, take another example. Would a white Massachusetts Democrat marry a white Republican Trump supporter? or would their "ethnicities" be too different?
Salon said they'd be too different:
"It's a good thing most women don't want to date Trump voters"
https://www.salon.com › 2023 › 11 › 28 › its-a-good-thing-women-wont-date
The Atlantic worried about the issue:
"Should I Break Up With My Trump-Loving Partner?"
https://www.theatlantic.com › culture › archive › 2024 › 10 › dear-james-relationship-political-differences › 680251
NBC news took a firm stand against this form of
miscegenation:
"Opinion | It's perfectly OK to not want to date Trump supporters"
https://www.nbcnews.com › think › opinion › question-keeping-trump-loving-men-night-why-won-t-women-ncna1273594
So, isn't it possible that a young man who grew up with these sorts of opinions emanating from mainstream figures and swirling about him, might say "I wouldn't marry outside my ethnicity" and not mean anything more than a young woman who might say: "I wouldn't date a Trump supporter?"
And when the media (who are being exposed as news-for-hire hacks by this young man and his kind) pile on this young man - what is that all about?
Wonder if Musk is holding a DOGE competition (finder of the most wasteful agency) to determine who gets the "Brass Balls" handle?
@tcrosse
"The speed with which Trump's"
He and a core group have been at it for at least a couple of years if not longer. The preparation, speed, and execution of his agenda is amazing of it's own right. He's even trying to radically change the world's way of interacting.
If some guy says “You could not pay me to marry another guy", would that be sexist?
Drout, you're assuming a lot of stuff that I didn't say in my comments. I'm not a leftist, I'm not against Musk. I think shrinking the government is terrific. But I've also had to endure several Fed background checks where I work, and they are not done this quickly. I'd just like to know that these guys have been properly vetted, since they are being given such unlimited access.
I noticed that our Loyal Opposition has returned. Welcome back Inga. You'll have to do more than snipe around the edges though.
All SpaceX employees have background checks.
Liilly, you aren't the only one who has been thru background checks and security clearance vetting.
The FBI can go as fast as they are told to go and pile on as many resources as it takes to move quickly, the DOGE guys at Treasury are Treasury employees and completed the full interview process (1 of the 2 had his final interview with none other than Scott Bessent).
They boh only have read access and their systems recommendations must be submitted to the Federal Reserve for action (according to Bessent).
So why dont you just calm down...or go sit in the corner with your pal Inga, for if memory serves you posted you would like to see Trump lose to kamala just to stick it to me and achilles.
Which is your right of course, but dont think comments like that dont reveal something.
Lilly, a dog: "Drago, I notice that you don't have an answer as to whether they've passed background checks. I can't find an answer to that question in any reporting. I know that it doesn't matter to you, so why don't you stick it up your ass."
I dont believe I will tough guy.
Now you go right back to weeping and gnashing your teeth and looking around for your comfort pet.
And while you and Inga continue your Faux Outrage Tour, suck on this one for a bit:
"DOGE: Democrats in Congress didn't seem to mind that China had remote access to EVERY workstation in the Treasury as recently as December. Now a month later they're freaking out that Trump's appointees are accessing the very same computers - demanding violence in the streets."
