I've never seen anything like it in the political sphere. Nothing like the bullshit Obama slogan of "this is the day that... ". Whether it's with hope or dread this truly represents CHANGE, not a worn out slogan, and everybody worldwide knows it. So strange.

Some stray observations:
#1 On Nov5 Trump became POTUS as regards foreign policy, and the world reacted accordingly. I don't think I've ever seen that happen to this degree before.
#2 Trump has made a lot of promises that most sane people would consider it improbable if not impossible for him to keep 100%.
#3 Trump represents such a radical change to the way the US has conducted domestic and foreign policy since WW2 it's hard to completely imagine the final outcome of these changes.; 1/18/25, 12:22 PM
