"Former Representative Liz Cheney colluded with 'star witness' Cassidy Hutchinson without Hutchinson’s attorney’s knowledge."

"Former Representative Liz Cheney should be investigated for potential criminal witness tampering based on the new information about her communication. Cassidy Hutchinson’s most outrageous claims lacked any evidence, and the Select Committee had knowledge that her claims were false when they publicly promoted her. President Trump did not attack his Secret Service Detail at any time on January 6. President Trump did not have intelligence indicating violence on the morning of January 6. Cassidy Hutchinson falsely claimed to have drafted a handwritten note for President Trump on January 6. Representative Cheney and Cassidy Hutchinson baselessly attempted to disbar Hutchinson’s former attorney...."

Is it too soon to add my "Biden pardons" tag?

Someone call Freder and his whaaaambulance, there's an "abuse of the legal system" at the intersection of J6 lawfare, perjury, and mob-style witness tampering!

I wonder if Loudermilk's forensic examination of the deleted and password protected files led to this? See the Jan 6 committee file deletion story from 11 months ago:

Hutchinson clearly stated she had not witnessed firsthand the supposed attack on the SS in the limo but was only relaying what she'd heard. And Secret Service testimony to the J6 committee corroborated what she said about Trump being warned that there were weapons in the crowd. Loudermilk, as usual, is lying.

Peachy said...

The funniest and most obvious lie - is the Jan 6th pipe bomb story that is never told.
why? It was all coordinated and fabricated.

Mike (MJB Wolf) said...

This has been well known for months, perhaps even since Hutchison's "taking the wheel of the Beast" story crumbled to dust with eyewitnesses, of which Cassidy was NOT one. Although one of our more clueless members did throw out a haughty "What crimes?" when Cheney's name came up last week.

There are more.

Aggie said...

Pardon for Liz? Cassidy, too? I bet Cassidy doesn't get one, which should make the hearings testimonies interesting work.

Mike (MJB Wolf) said...

Then why did Cheney tamper with her as a witness? And whom exactly do you assert had weapons in the "crowd"?

Anybody who still thinks Democrats and their RINO consorts are not evil needs to look at the lives and careers they have attacked without basis in their efforts to get Trump and retain power - particularly attorney's lives and careers.

The allegation was that Trump associates were providing free representation to Hutchison, who became concerned her lawyer was not loyal to her but was suppressing her truthful testimony. So she reached out to a friend and former WH colleague who in turn reached out to the committee. First I heard that the original lawyer lawyer was investigated, but I don't see the crime in this scenario unless her ultimate testimony is perjurious. This is an all too common scenario when an organization being investigated provides free counsel to a key witness who has information that could harm the organization.

What is needed is for the new doj to create a special council to investigate and if required, prosecute all the issues of j6 including the committee, deletion of data, and any judicial concerns with pretrial incarceration compared to norms.

With this they have of course guaranteed her a pardon from Biden. Repubs doing good ol' reliable Republican stupid yet again.

They couldn't have waited till February? Boneheaded timing.

Hassayamper said...

Weapons in the crowd? If so, they were being carried by FBI provocateurs. The only person arrested for illegal weapons possession that day had them in his hotel room, not at the capitol.

Hassayamper said...

You know, you're correct. That is a good question. I guess they were just so proud of their sleuthing that they couldn't wait a month to inflict maximal damage to the Democrat enemy and their Chekist handmaidens in the government.

PB said...

Pardons for everyone involved with the J6 committee, I suspect.

Hassayamper said...

It is quite safe to assume that anything the FBI says is a knowing lie, if the truth would harm the Democrat Party.

Like father, like daughter. The cheney family seems to be full of lying scum. Thank you Wyoming voters for saving us from this female clown. Further findings:

1) Former Representative Liz Cheney used the January 6 Select Committee as a tool to attack President Trump, at the cost of investigative integrity and Capitol security.

2) The January 6 Select Committee neglected or withheld evidence from its Final Report and deleted voluminous records it should have preserved.

3) The Department of Defense scapegoated the Washington D.C. National Guard to distract blame from senior leadership.

I wonder if General Millie Vanilli lied before Congress. Maybe a pardon from Joe Brandon?

RCOCEAN II said...

Issuing it now was not a mistake. This congress has to close out its business before it ends on Jan 21st. Besides, you don't think Biden knew the R's had discovered Liz Cheney was lying and tampered with witnesses? It was in the news this summer. This is just the official report.

I assume the MSM will write this off as "Republicans pouncing". Hutchinson was another backstabbing Trump white house aide. Man, Trump sure could pick 'em. God damn, I hope he's gotten smarter.

Original Mike said...

"Although one of our more clueless members did throw out a haughty "What crimes?" when Cheney's name came up last week."

F U. I asked that question, it was sincere, and I explicitly prefaced it by stating that I was not making excuses for Cheney. I was plumbing the knowledge base of the commentariat.

Enigma said...

Bait. If Biden pardons, then it'll mark them as apparent criminals "who got away" for life. If Biden doesn't pardon then they may prosecute in 2025.

In either case I don't think the Republicans wish to revisit Jan 6 when they have so so so many agenda items.

Big Mike said...

Was Hutchison assuming that Trump was whipped and was she trying to find a new patron? Considering that capable junior presidential staffers in a first term often wind up in more senior positions in a second term, I’d say she chose poorly.

Liz Cheney is a lawyer. Biden can't pardon her from being disbarred.

Martin said...

I doubt that there is a Bar association in country that would disbar her for fighting the evil Trump no matter what underhanded methods she was forced to use.

The Vault Dweller said...

I don't think the idea of Liz Cheney being disbarred makes her worry at all. Her being a lawyer in good standing gives her no meaningful source of income, power, or status at this point in her life.

Milo Minderbinder said...

Just keep loading the wagon with the evidence and publishing it. Cheney and Biden can pardon their dumb asses off, the damage will be in the public (non-MSM) record.

Godot said...

Please (PLEASE!) pardon her. The pardon will negate her right to plead the
The 5th against self incrimination. Any perjuries she commits under oath will be prosecutable.

paminwi said...

You are incorrect in part. Hutchinson had a free attorney. She testified having that attorney represent her. For some reason she felt like she needed a NEW attorney so she got one. Luz Cheney then connected with Hutchinson through a mutual contact and asked her if she wanted to “correct” the testimony she had already given. Cheney connecting with a witness (without informing the witnesses attorney) who HAD A NEW ATTORNEY KNOWN TO THE COMMITTEE is an ethical violation and Cheney knew that. Cheney’s goal was to get Trump and she didn’t give a shit about ethics at all.
And ANYONE who believed the bullshit story about Trump grabbing the wheel of The Beast is a complete and total idiot.
And Cheney knew all about the destruction of the public record of this committee so IMO she should be disbarred and rot in hell. (And she should taking that sniveling little man, Kinzinger, with her.

Breezy said...

Gosh it must be so tough on these folks: get a pardon and have to testify fully, or don’t get a pardon and take the chance of getting indicted. What to do… what to do….

Plus, forever wondering if anyone who has been pardoned, or even not pardoned, will expose your corruption.

I think you should embiggen "Democrat Party" to include the GOPe. They were/are just has much to blame. Cheney was part of the GOPe until her conversion to full blown Kamala supporter. She is now worthless as a politician, having alienated her constituency.

When the exposure of corruption starts to cross partisan lines, political opposition will ensue. The swamp draining may not be as thorough as one wishes.

Joe's pardons of his son and other buddies will protect them, but they may expose their confederates to severe legal jeopardy. The simplest example: Mr. Hunter Biden, Who is the "Big Guy" you referred to in this email? He can't plead the 5th, because he's been pardoned by his Dad. If he says "My father, Joe Biden" (which most sentient human beings think is probably the truth) then any serious special prosecutor knows where to look next. If Hunter says "I made it up" that could/would be perjury and not covered by the Pardon.

David Duffy said...

There are a couple of hundred thousand pages in the Code of Federal Regulations. Certainly the DOJ can find some infraction there to charge them with. If not, there are thousands of state and local laws to prosecute. If not that, have the Republican congress pass laws where they will be prosecuted (the filibuster be damned, simple majority). If not congress, let the new Trump bureaucracy make the rules. They went Pearl Harbor on Trump, give them their Battle of Mariana’s in return.
