With Trump winning the popular vote, he has a mandate to sweep clean. The Dems are totally defeated. Complete rejection. No Green New Deal. No Open Borders. Deportations start in January. FBI, CIA, State and Justice cleaned out. Budget cuts of trillions. Education Department closed. And my fervent hope to eliminate NPR.
Yah, we still have Romney in the informal Maverick Endowment seat and that turtle looking guy, people who’s only objective is to ‘keep Washington moving’ ie spending and wasting money. NPR could try to be sold to the highest bidder…even if it’s a buck…
So, about "reforming" the Supreme Court. An interesting idea bandied about by Democrats in recent years, but I never gave it much thought. Maybe the Republicans should now take it up as an olive branch.
As a couple of others have said, the quotation has to be from Chauncey Gardner in "Being There." We'll have to see if walking on water is also in our future.
Probably time to start looking at the hurdles Trump is going to encounter. 1. No way is he going to be able to get 20 million illegals deported. They will continue to be a net drain on the economy for decades. 2. How hard is it going to be to go back to cheap energy. Is big oil willing to make major US investments knowing they might be left holding the bag in 4 years. The SPR isn't going to fill itself. 3. Foreign policy is more complex than 8 years ago. Russia won't back down without major land concessions. The Russia/China/Iran alliance won't be dissolved with a snap of the fingers. Iran has fissile weapons now making things a lot more complex. They are going to have to be removed from the equation to make progress towards ME peace. It's a long list. Tariffs can be counter productive if used to excess. 4. Inflated prices aren't going away. The national debt isn't going away. The education system isn't going to reverse course on a dime. Big Government isn't going to go willingly into that good night. 5. The radicalized left will press on every front, often violent. The MSM will continue their dishonest assault on Trump. 6. I don't hear this from many sources, but I believe the present administration will embed many ticking time bombs as they leave. The dock strikes coming in January is an obvious example. I expect Obama to try to exacerbate the situation in any way they can thereby causing major disruptions in the supply line. Removing the W's from the keyboards was a childish prank. The intent this time will be to harm the American people to weaken Trump.
@ Dave Begley. Fiscally..... A good start would be to cut 30% of the redundant and entrenched personnel in the Federal Government. Then take an axe to wasteful and vanity programs that are not beneficial to the United States.
I, for one, think Biden is the closest the country could ever get to having a Chauncey Gardner as president. And Biden couldn't even be a competent puppet.
As I recall, Musk cut half of the workforce when he bought Twitter and nobody noticed. Mostly because half of them never came to work and produced exactly nothing. Kind of like the government.

The Republic will now survive. The people have spoken.
Thank you, Chance!

Black earth. So lovely.
Has Kamala conceded? Is she an election insurrectionist?
She's waiting for her Mob-Soviet hail mary.
Except Trump is actually smart. (Being There)
When is Trump's sentencing in NYC scheduled to take place?
Is that a quote from Being There? Love that movie.
4560 felonies for... paperwork! and she passed out!

NYT pointing out this morning he is a felon for the moment…

Georgetown University has opened a Self-Care Suite for the college adults 18-24 who attend there. Here's their agenda:
10:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m.: Tea, Cocoa, and Self-Care
11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.: Legos Station
12:00 p.m.-1:00 p.m.: Healthy Treats and Healthy Habits
1:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m.: Coloring and Mindfulness Exercises
2:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m.: Milk and Cookies
4:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m.: Legos and Coloring
5:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m.: Snacks and Self-Guided Meditation
These snowflakes are literally sitting around playing with Legos and coloring books.
Hopefully, Trump is smart enough to pack the court with about 15 more Republican judges.
The Civil War has been kicked down the road until they murder Trump. Which they have every intention of doing.
Every commander in the US Armed forces should be fired immediately.
No, so far she is an election denier.
CNN should give Scott Jennings Andersons job. He is the voice of reason on CNN.....

I hope at least one of the old supremes retires soon before Trump turns the seat into a bargaining chip.

Free the J6 10,000.
I don’t recall Trump talking much about a beautiful wall. Look for Trump to be a different president this time around.
Where's our bitter, shriveled bint, America-Hating Inga? I was hoping for the daily dose of Dem talking points this morning since Bich isn't up to it.

Scanning the local madison mainstream fake news rag, you would be hard-pressed to know that there was a presidential election yesterday and Trump won.
No matter how much I hate the mainstream media, it's not enough.
Did somebody toss their sprout breakfast?

Sell NPR (and PBS) to Elon Musk.
