Is there a clash between the identity cult and what i would call virality reality?

Maybe TikTok is under fire because it threatens a certain order.

Virality is elusive, it doesn't lend itself to easy manipulation. What does that mean to the identity cult.

Stay tuned.

Promoting anti trans violence, from a US Congresswoman. Twitter was not amused.

Twitter on Tuesday restricted Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene’s (R-Ga.) congressional account for seven days after she repeatedly posted an image of a poster about a rally called “Trans Day of Vengeance.”

“Greene initially deleted her tweet, and then posted it again voicing frustration about the action from Twitter — along with sharing the poster again, calling on the Department of Justice to investigate.

Twitter again deleted the tweet — prompting yet another tweet and repost from Greene.

“The people need to know about the threats they face from Antifa & trans-terrorism!!!” said Greene.

Twitter then sent Greene a notice saying her account functionality would be reduced for seven days, according to a screenshot shared with The Hill and posted by Greene on her personal campaign account.”

So, what's the secret to getting Criterion on a Samsung TV? I wanted to watch some of those movies Althouse was touting.

Seems unbelievably difficult. I subscribed but there's no finding the app.

Still not following it that closely and not that I put any stock in what T Carlson has to say, but the headline is: The bill to ban Tik Tok gives enormous new powers to the federal government to punish American citizens and regulate how they communicate on the Internet.
For multiple reasons, it couldn't be any other way.

LOL

How stupid is Inga? This stupid...

The poster calling for a "Trans Day Of Vengeance" was literally put out by a radical trans group calling for violence and MTG was simply calling attention to it.

Since there are still millions of lines of code that Twitter has to reengineer and there are still lefty censor algorithms that havent been rooted out, yet, MTG and others were still auto-banned.

Its an hilariously and perfect Inga-ism that making note of trans radicals calls for violence is labeled "anti-trans violence" by our resident dolt who, once again, demonstrates conclusively that she only reads headlines and never gets the story straight!

Thanks for another perfect case study in stupidity Inga. You truly have a "gift".

Started digging a 90-ft trench for a yard hydrant today. I rented a 24-in trencher. It's a chain excavator on a bar that can dig a trench 24-in deep. The trick to using it is to dig the trench BACKWARDS. Start at one end, and dig a spot, then move backwards, not forwards. Moving forwards, the machine will refill the trench you just dug. Not very helpful.

Unfortunately, the soil here is extremely rocky. You might describe it as a rock farm with soil provided so the rocks don't touch each other. The trencher stalls on the rocks that are potato sized or bigger. A mini-excavator with a 1-ft bucket would have worked better.

I'm using a shovel to finish the trench and get it deep enough (2-ft). That's working better than the trencher. Much more labor, but better.

America and social movement. I don't think there's any typical American as far as ethnic background- I think what's typical is that we're all a little bit different. I'm going to use just my wife and I as an example.

Her first. On her father's side, his grandparents were all born in the Austro-Hungarian Empire, two lieted as Austria, two as Bohemia, all came to Baltimore to join the community there. The gravestones for two of them, in Baltimore, are inscribed in Bohemian. Their children stayed in Baltimore, as did her father until he retired. Her father moved out of the immediate neighborhood, but continued going to the same RC church where most of the congregation was Bohemian in origin. 3 of the 6 surviving children live in 3 other states, my wife one of them, none live in Baltimore proper. None of the 4 who married married from that church or ethnic background. Her mother's side more complicated. One set of her mother's grandparents grandfather born in Ireland, grandmother's family, all branches, here before the Revolution. mMstly English. Several generations in MD. The other set both born in or around Baltimore, but going further back all from either Ireland or Germany post revolution, pre-Civil War. And they didn't consider themselves German, but Bavarian or whatever other part of Germany they came from. But they all arrived in Baltimore and stuck around there.

Now my side. My paternal grandfather had parents born in England. They arrived here with jobs waiting for them. My paternal grandmother's family has been in North America since before the Revolution. (Note- North America, not USA...) And my ancestors there comprise both Loyalists and Patriots. And since arriving here none in any direct ancestry branch in the last 5 generations have died within 50 miles of where they were born. Most in different states/provinces/countries. My maternal grandmother's parents arrived from Ireland and came here to avoid starvation. My maternal grandfather's family, all branches, here before the Revolution, all Patriots. And also none in my direct line for 5 generations has died within 50 miles of where they were born.

What does my Ancesry DNA say? Pretty much what can be traced.

Ireland 41%
Scotland 28%
England & Northwestern Europe 25%
Sweden & Denmark 6%
The Swedish and Denmark comes from Viking invaders of Britain- no traceable ancestry there.
My wife's DNA? A lot more complacted.

Eastern Europe & Russia 29%
Your connection to this ethnicity region may come through ancestors from this community.
Western Czechia
Northern South Bohemia
Germanic Europe 25%
Ireland 21%
Sweden & Denmark 12%
Scotland 6%
England & Northwestern Europe 4%
Baltics 2%
Greece & Albania 1%
Her Swedish and Denmark likely same as mine- Viking invaders of Britain. All those other traces? Well, the areas of Europe we can trace her ancestry to has been a historical battlground conquered and reconquered by different empires since history started being recorded.

And with all that, both of us, and our children, are 100% American. No connection to any of those areas except we know that's where our ancestors came from.
This is, pretty much, a typical American story. There are other typical stories that differ. As I said, for generations, none of my direct ancestors have died within 50 miles of where they were born. Yet, in Virginia, a family with my 5th great-grandfather's surname is living in the house he built. I've never met them, but they're now facebook friends. This is not, in any way, shape, or form, a typical British, French, any other European, or any Asian or African story, and few South American or Mexican. Not too uncommon in Canada, and possibly Australia. The rest of the world just doesn't up and move like we do.

Promoting anti trans violence,

Levine's follies, psychiatric dysphoria, and another handmade tale to rationalize homicide, cannibalism, now medical experiments. Transgender conversion therapy through medical, surgical, and psychiatric corruption not only fails to mitigate, but may accelerated progressive dysfunction and abortive choice(s) in the majority of boys and girls treated. This is what distinguishes between the so-called stable classes (e.g. trans/homosexuals) and trans/neo classes in the transgender spectrum.

Gospace, your wife's grandmother's side ("Germany post revolution, pre-Civil War") probably considered her history to be Bavarian because Germany as a united country didn't exist until 1871. Before that, those now considered to be Germans were citizens of Prussia, Saxony, Hesse, Bavaria, etc. My wife's roots are in Prussia, and when one of the German cousins married a Bavarian from Munich in 2007, her Prussian-descended brother remarked to us that the family was appalled because "her husband isn't even German," i.e., that kind of ethnic parochialism still exists today.

My wife also has about 12% Swedish/Danish DNA. Since her mother is from East Anglia, the English region where many Vikings raided through the years, she also thought the Scandinavian DNA came from the Viking raiders; however, her German cousins also have similar Scandinavian DNA and their genealogy research found many Swedes and Danes living in Swedish Pomerania (later annexed by Prussia.) They intermarried with Prussians, Poles and Saxons and those marriages were the most likely source of the Scandinavian DNA in her family. Interestingly enough, her Prussian grandparent split from the Prussian portion of the family and settled in Wisconsin due to the last Prussian/Danish war (he had already done one of those and wasn't keen on doing another.)

German history is somewhat convoluted and was very fluid until the later 1800's.

The Russian government is suggesting to their citizens that they put together a survival kit and there is an official list of survival items being posted on billboards. #4 on the list is "dry alcohol." It seems that some clever Japanese have figured out how to dehydrate alcohol. This dried alcohol can be put in a little packet which you can carry around with you like freeze dried coffee in case of an emergency. It can be reconstituted with water on an as needed basis. Dry alcohol is excluded from America by the drink industry on "safety" grounds
but apparently it is available in Russia. Putin knows his people and is making sure that, even in flight from Armageddon, the Russians will still have their vodka or "dry water," I guess you could call it.

Wrong, MTG was trying to organize a violent clash with the trans protestors, but spoken like a good propagandist.

The Moscow trained propagandist Drag Queen doesn’t want anyone to understand that what MTG was stopped by Twitter from doing was a call to arms of sorts against the trans protestors who would be present there. Hoax threats made at multiple Utah schools, prompting multi-county police responses

"OGDEN, Utah (KUTV) — Ogden School District was the first to publicly address what appeared to be a multi-county hoax targeting schools in Utah on Wednesday morning.

In a social media post, the district said there was no violence at Ogden High School on Wednesday, saying a fake threat was made about a school shooting at the campus.
"

Hoax active-shooter calls to Pa. schools draw police and panic students, staff, parents

"An apparent computer-generated call about active shooters at multiple Pennsylvania high schools caused mass confusion and panic for students and parents on Wednesday.

Multiple 911 centers received calls for active shooters Wednesday morning with the specific detail that six people had been shot. The calls sent police and emergency crews rushing to high schools across the state just two days after a mass shooting at a Christian school in Nashville claimed six lives, including three 9-year-olds.

State police released a statement around 12:30 p.m. saying that they are investigating “a series” of calls involving active-shooter claims or bomb threats to schools in the state. “At this time, all claims in these calls have been determined to be false,” state police said.

In western Pennsylvania, Pittsburgh police went to Central and Oakland Catholic schools, and officers from around Beaver County responded to Hopewell Area High School for calls of an active shooter.

There were also reports about threats to schools in the Lehigh Valley, Lawrence County, Fayette County, Centre County, Cambria County. Similar threats were also reported in schools in New Jersey and Massachusetts.

Schools near the ones targeted for hoaxes locked down during the emergencies and had their students sheltering in place. Some schools canceled remaining classes and sent students home early.
State police in Hollidaysburg released a statement shortly before 10 a.m. that “the calls are believed to be computer generated swatting calls.”

“Swatting calls” are fake 911 calls meant to draw a large police response.

Moon Area School District in Allegheny County sent a robo-call to parents explaining the “swatting incident” and saying that, even though it was not targeted with a call, students would be sheltering in place.

“At this time, officials believe this is a hoax,” the message said.
