It has been a plane composition of flat grays and blacks under a flat light with few cues to height —until this shot where the figure by the shore, and the dog looking upward, provide scale and direction. TFG's speech was filled with lies - again (if that is what makes his speech "just right"). He continues to claim that he won the 2020 election and that he carried New Hampshire in 2016 and 2020. In fact, he lost the popular vote to Hillary by 1/3rd of a percentage point and Biden whupped him by seven points. He can forget the "Live Free or Die State" - just too many porcupines!

"Effective May 1, 2023, PHMC will no longer host, offer or sponsor at its historic sites and museums battle reenactments or demonstrations of physical conflict that involve exchanges of weapons’ fire, the taking of casualties, hand-to-hand combat, or any other form of simulated warfare or violence between opposing forces."

The annual Bushy Run (Western PA) battlefield reenactment has been cancelled. It had been run for decades. History continues to be erased.

“The Board of Education, law enforcement and city officials have met many times over the past several days/weeks to discuss the current situation that involves our school moving to a virtual platform and cancellation of events due to threats to our schools and potentially community.

“Due to the sensitivity of the situation, I need to be clear and concise with my messaging to you and limit it to a certain degree.

“The Board of Education, law enforcement and city officials met again yesterday and collectively made a few more very difficult and agonizing decisions due to the possibility of continued threats.

This is the school using Title IX as a cudgel against middle school students who dares to misgender a classmate's pronouns. Sexual harassment charges against middle school kids!

It seems, according the the military industrial complex's favorite think tank, that we are repeating the mistakes of Viet Nam and over investing in a war that is of little strategic importance to us, increasing the risk of a nuclear exchange (calling it war doesn't do it justice), and not the least, of a further blow to US military prestige beyond what just happened in Afghanistan. I'm at the top of the stairs but angling the camera down toward the dog, who is nearing the top step. I wouldn't normally aim the camera at that spot.

Anyway, the terrain is up and down. There are places where I can walk on nearly level ground out to the lake edge and other places where it's a cliff and a sheer drop. It's varied! You can see how many steps it is down to the spot where I take pictures that don't include shoreline elements.; 1/29/23, 6:54 AM

No question that is real. However, Trump does much of the work himself. Did the CIA and FBI force Trump to call Ron DeSanti "DeSanctimonious"? I will defend Trump against all leftwing lies... but Trump makes himself a very small man when he trashes his own team with immature insults on potential future leaders. Trump cannot be president forever. He trashes the very people who wanted to help him. Trump treats his team worse than the very people who are out to destroy him, and it is a HUGE turn-off for many former Trump supporters. It's as if Trump wants the "hate Trump" crowd to grow.
