So, this might be a local phenomenon, but the grocery shelves are going bare. Eggs are difficult to come by.

I couldn't find the things I needed at the grocery store, so I went to the drug store. I found the things I needed, but was impressed by the empty store shelves.

I'm in Seattle. Has anyone else seen these shortages??

I'm allowed three chickens in the backyard, and I'm considering it!!

I had an opportunity to drive south through town on I-5. Everything is covered with....."Harold and the Purple Crayon."

I see that a box of 50 9mm is now $20. It was $12 before stupid fucking Biden.

Did I mention the graffiti decorating I-5?

It will be interesting to see how resident lefties readering/Dumb Lefty Mark/gadfly spin this to blame Musk.

$20.00 is cheap. Buy all you can.
I was paying $15.00 for 500 empty Winchester 12 ga AA hulls. Now you can't find them at all.

Perhaps the most troubling part of the Biden document scandal is that he has lawyers, apparently none of whom are cleared to handle classified documents, looking at the documents. Stores them in a garage and then invites “civilians” in to search for more.
Absolutely amazing. Jim Jordan and his Committee will have a field day with this….and they should.

I'm not talking
Well that's all I got to say
Used to think I knew it
Man I sure outgrew it
Things like idle chatter
Ain't the things that matter
That's one thing I can do without

"A San Francisco panel studying reparations has proposed a one-time payment of $5 million to each black resident of the city deemed eligible as recompense for the 'decades of harm they have experienced,' according to a report on Monday."

So, if it weren't for the harm caused by discrimination, black people would each have been $5million wealthier. White people didn't suffer this discrimination. Why don't all white people have $5million?

Why would the FAA massively widen the range of acceptable "normal" EKG readings for Pilots?

And why would they try to hide it?

1 death in ten thousand and a 1-5% percentage of injured gets you a massive class action lawsuit.

Multiple studies are showing 20-30% of vaccinated children/adults show heart damage.

Lawsuits and public humiliation are not enough.

The Snoqualmie Ridge Bartell's had a lot of empty shelves. The Safeway out here is smaller than the Overlake Safeway, so the selection of bacon and meat is more limited. I usually don't buy eggs, but I had no problem getting a dozen a couple of weeks ago, but at inflated price.

I prefer beer in a bottle, not canned. Much better. The markets are favoring cans now, so the selection of bottled beer is limited.

@madashell i have noticed the same…last Thursday at the grocery I was not finding a few things on my usual list. I noticed sparse shelves. It struck me, because Thursday is right before the weekend, when they’re fully restocked.
In New Orleans this week, I noticed a half gallon of organic milk was almost $9. It was around $3.69 I seem to recall.

Tucker needs to get straight about "equity." He and some others treat it like a new term and concept, but it appears twice in the USC, FFS.

If he would learn about what it has meant in that context, his critique of current usage or misusage might be more compelling.

Russell Brand was just an irritating character actor to me until recently. His Youtube rants show a very active and intelligent mind, and I'm becoming a fan. (His mimicry and mockery of his targets are superb, too.)

Dr. John Campbell has also become one of my regular stops.

From Time Magazine, October 31, 1949 comes this interesting tale about Clyde the Cashier at Farmers and Merchants Bank in Spencerville, IN entitled "To Pay Paul."

The tiny bank building still stands near the Covered Bridge that spans the St. Joseph River in what remains of the town. Enjoy!

KJP-"Documents found in Bidens garage are fine, because Biden says "He didn't know".

This is how delusional our country has become, that the WH first gay lesbian can lie with ease and the DOJ is letting Joe Bidens personal lawyers with NO clearance look for them.

Good thing she is black and gay...because there is NO other excuse for her lies.

How many ways does the truth have to be shown before the eyes of the blind are open, or has hate just so blinded them, that they could care less about what is true and right?

Does anybody else think it's a little suspect that our Secretary of State, Blinken, who is pushing for endless support for Ukraine, was director of the Penn-Biden center, which paid Hunter Biden $100,000 a month? Oh yeah, and the director of the "think tank" had no knowledge of those classified documents that either Joe or Hunter stashed there?

FORTE looks strong as a 2023 Derby contender, but I got my eye on Instant Coffee, (ran 4th same race) Brad Cox runner who finished 4th in the grade 1 Clairborne at Keenland. I am building up my bankroll (few G's now) for the May 6th event and watching the beautiful animals training and racing, first real preps don't start until mid-February but can never be too early watch them grow and race. Churchill downs on 1st Saturday in May it's a wonderful day to watch the magnificent 3-year-olds compete and to send in some $$. My wife and I heading to Gulfstream Park for her birthday Jan 26th for a stay in Hallandale/Adventura and do the track and Casino for long weekend. I'll download PP'S few days before and handicap the card and place some wagers before we head into Casino to fight the one-armed Bandits! Saratoga in August in New York while we visit my son in the North and possibly Tejas to see my other son and daughter for Thanksgiving November. (If it's in God's will) We just make the dates, God determines if there will be time. Let the Horse be with you! We will work to be good stewards of the $$ :)

I hadn't been through Seattle in years. Drove through it in May on the way to Mt. Vernon. Was absolutely blown away by all the graffiti. Never used to be that way. Shocking, really.

I've only seen a couple of the rants, but I agree with Narr about Russell Brand. He always skeeved me out, but the rants are hilarious.

We lost our (tiny little) Whole Foods in Brookline last year and I'm too lazy to walk two or three blocks (and cross four major streets) to get to the Fenway Star Market, so I haven't been inside a grocery store in a while. In New Hampshire, I shop on-line at Walmart and haven't had trouble getting the few things I buy there. The wine store next to the old Whole Foods location has started stocking an eclectic (and expensive!) collection of groceries. They always seem to have some eggs, but I haven't checked the price.

The farmstand in New Hampshire always had eggs last summer but, again, I never checked the price.
