Manager Tony La Russa revealed on Saturday that due to the significant amount of injuries the team is dealing with, players were told by the training staff to “slow it down” on a routine out in order to prevent even more injury.

“As long as the fans understand it, they’re not lazy, but their legs are important,” La Russa told reporters.

The White Sox currently have 10 players on the injured list and the instructions are catered toward some of the stars of the team...

The counter intuitive thing is that if your style of play is such that it takes into account avoiding injury, the team may end up getting more injuries. They may very well have all those players injured because they aren't hustling already.

I see plays all the time that could have been made, that aren't being made.

Democrats have almost never proposed anything that would actually affect criminals, perhaps because criminals are part of their constituency - or at least, an adjunct to their efforts against law-abiding citizens. When the new laws have no effect on "gun violence," there will of course be calls for ever more stringent restrictions, all directed at the law-abiding. Repeat the process as needed.

"Gun violence" is a euphemism for Criminals. The gun itself commits no act, and as the wise man once said, the root cause of crime is criminals. As long as the Democratic party sees criminals and crime as helpful to their efforts to disarm citizens, the crooks and thugs will continue to have virtually free rein in American cities. Note the shrieks and howls at the recent Court ruling affirming the right of citizens of New York to carry concealed pistols; criminals already have concealed carry rights, thanks to non-prosecution of crime.
