"After the parade carried on for a few minutes, emergency vehicles sped by, sirens and lights blaring, as a group of children dancing with snowflake props tried to carry on with their performance."

From "5 dead, more than 40 injured after SUV plows into crowd at Christmas parade in Wisconsin" (WaPo).
Kaylee Staral, an intern at the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel newspaper, attended the parade with her family, who took their spots next to parents and children with candy bags and blankets. “It was supposed to be an exciting event.... A bunch of little kids were there. People were there to get in the holiday season.” Minutes later, the SUV shot past Staral and her family, and they watched as it rammed into participants....

Heartbreaking. The killer has a long criminal record and should never have been out on bail. Merry goddamn Christmas, people.

The FBI is there to gin up a "Trump is responsible for this," narrative, whatever it takes. Remember when Bill Clinton accused Rush Limbaugh of inspiring Timothy McVeigh? Well, we have a lot more evidence that the media, with their non-stop lies have inspired violence, like the time that Rachael Maddow fan took a gun to a Republican softball practice and started shooting, right up to this. Well, sauce for the Republican goose is never sauce for the Democrat gander. No way.

The FBI will seize whatever evidence they can, and they will selectively release whatever they find to support whatever Narrative the Biden regime finds helpful.

This mass killer was out on $1,000 bail; Rittenhouse's bail was $2,000,000.

A youngish black man, just recently released from jail has been identified as the driver. My guess is that he's been 'activated', instigated, incentivized by the host of 'news' networks, reporters, talking heads, and Democratic Party leaders (i.e., our President and Vice President) to believe that the Kenosha trial was all about white people getting away with white people murders. That it was a show of white supremacists. That it was a continuing of systemic injustice and racism.

THAT has been the loud and vocal mantra of our 'professional' news people. Ugh. They are awful people. And I do suspect that they instigated this man, and probably others to come, to commit terrible violence- getting them all ramped up that a major injustice to black people was done in Kenosha.

I lay this at the feet of all of our corporate media and the Democratic Party. Hyperbolic? I think not. I say this very seriously.

Darrell Brooks Jr.: 5 Fast Facts You Need to Know

DUSTER said...

His social media reveals no surprises, Pro BLM, Anti Trump, Anti Cop, and a aspiring rapper, that checks most of the left wing nut job prerequisites. To target women and children celebrating Christmas, some people are just plain feral.

I guess it would be in bad taste to say that anyone holding a Christmas parade on November 21 deserves to be run over?

Jersey Fled said...

Darrell Brooks was facing six charges related to domestic abuse, battery, disorderly conduct, bail jumping and resisting arrest. He was released on $1000 bail one day before the attack.

That's right. An individual who was facing charges for jumping bail was released on $1000 bail.

It appears this clown with a heck of a rap sheet was let out on a cash bond of $1000. Too bad he wasn't a Scott Walker supporter. Chisholm would have had his butt in Siberia.

You need better voters.

The state of Wisconsin imposed a bail of $2 million on Kyle Rittenhouse, 15 months before the trial.

The state of Wisconsin intended to keep him in jail for those entire 15 months, until the trial verdict.

However, Rittenhouse stayed in jail only three months, because the $2 million was posted.

When the $2 million bail was imposed on Rittenhouse, the state of Wisconsin should have recognized that Rittenhouse very probably would be acquitted on self-defense grounds.

-----

In the case of bail for career criminal Darrell Brooks, the state of Wisconsin applied a different reasoning.

Wince said...

Does Wisconsin indicate a link to the Rittenhouse verdict?

What if he’s is an MSNBC- and CNN-inspired domestic terrorist?

Their Rittenhouse coverage has been over the top.

I have it on good authority that only a white supremacist would drive into a crowd of people. Oh wait, wrong narrative... "the SUV shot past"

According to the Narrative, the crime was committed by an SUV which sped into the parade. No wonder the Dems want to ban cars.

MadTownGuy said...

Better link, with updated information on the driver:

SUV driver ID'd in parade crash; was he fleeing a crime?

"WAUKESHA, Wis. (AP) — A person taken into custody after an SUV plowed into a crowd of holiday parade marchers in Wisconsin, killing at least five people, has been identified as 39-year-old Darrell Brooks. Police haven’t yet identified the “person of interest” they are holding. But two law enforcement officials briefed on the matter provided the identification to The Associated Press. They spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak publicly. A law enforcement official earlier told AP that investigators were examining whether the driver may have been fleeing from a crime when he crashed into the paradegoers. That official also spoke on condition of anonymity."

Jaq said...

They were "parading." Five years in stir for all of the survivors. This guy is a hero!

StoughtonSconnie said...

It appears that this thug was out on a 10k bond for crimes committed in 2020 when he was arrested more recently. The court imposed a 1k bond on the recent charges, which he posted 3-4 days ago. Welcome to Soros DA justice, brought to you by DA John “John Doe” Chisholm.

He may have been fleeing the scene of a knife fight, and the carnage he caused may not have been targeted. So what? Is it worse to plan to kill a bunch of people than to care so little about human life that killing and maiming people is mere collateral damage to your desire to flee a crime you were involved in? Legally, probably, but morally?

Jaq said...

Look for the FBI to keep a tight grip on all of the evidence and dribble it out as required to support their preferred political narrative. You know that is the first thin the FBI does, is get control of the narrative. Brook's Facebook account showed that he was angry about the Rittenhouse verdict, and he had another post where he was angry about the idea that anybody might run over kidnappers, err, I mean demonstrators who surrounded cars and terrorized the drivers.

If you look at some of the video from Charlottesville, there is at least one car careening though the crowd being as it is chased by people with weapons. I am not sure that this is the one that killed that other protester, because the Democrats in VA have put a tight clamp on all information related to that trial.

Yes, it would. On the other hand, whoever permitted a 'Christmas parade' a week before the beginning of the Advent season ought to be re-educated.

wildswan said...

Not to say I excuse anything that was done by the SUV, but there has been an outbreak of wild driving in Milwaukee. It isn't that the SUVs are fleeing a crime, they just realize that they can speed and weave through traffic with impunity and they are doing it. It's their habit now. The Dems here who run the city simply do not care what happens to citizens and they have crippled the police. People find that hard to believe but look at the rap sheet on the SUV in Waukesha. There's dozens like that racing about in Milwaukee every day. Nothing will change till people realize that you can measure how little Dems care by taking how much the Dems say they do care and reversing it. The reverse is the reality.

As to the crime flight angle, where was the purported knife fight that he was fleeing from relative to the parade route? Furthermore, if he was fleeing as opposed to merely escaping, who was he fleeing from? I saw only his red SUV in the videos; no one was chasing him!

Jersey Fled said...

Wow.

According to the Milwaukee Sentinal Journal:

"The driver suspected of plowing through the Waukesha holiday parade Sunday — killing five people and injuring more than 40 others — had an ongoing domestic violence case and was out of custody after prosecutors recommended an "inappropriately low" bail in the case, the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office said Monday."

So is the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office throwing their own prosecutors under the bus?

And further, one of the open charges for which he previously jumped bail was for internationally running over a woman.

Interesting. Heavy.com has his entire criminal record posted and I keep seeing this:

CHARGE
SEQUENCE NUMBER: 02
LITERAL: CARRY CONCEALED WEAPON
NCIC CODE: 5202
COUNTS: 1
CLASSIFICATION:
CHARGE SEVERITY: NON-CRIMINAL

So, carrying a concealed weapon (I'm assuming without a permit) is a non-criminal charge in WI? Then why all the fuss about Rittenhouse open carrying?

Hauptfrau said...

Account of a supposedly eyewitness on Twitter (yeah...I know; sorry) states that driver was at first on side street where parade beginning/staging area was--driving normally around people---they thought he was lost. But when he got to the Main St main parade route he turned right and suddenly started going much faster.

I usually hold off on expressing beliefs or opinions til at least 48-72 hours after crap like this happens, but if above turns out to be correct, i.e., that he drove like this for half a mile on the parade route, past 8 intersections where he might have turned off... well, that is relevant I think re evidence of specific intent. I had originally assumed that all the victims were on one block. Does anyone know what the actual distance was that this carnage continued?

Bunkypotatohead said...

Perhaps BLM will have a parade for him.
That seems to be the level of degeneracy we are at currently.

Hauptfrau said...

Yep, according to update from Milw JS: driver's actions not caused by a police chase.

Also, interesting: "Sunday's attack was not the first time Brooks has been accused of running a person over with a vehicle. In the early November case, a woman told police that Brooks purposefully ran her 'over with his vehicle' while she was walking through a gas station parking lot after he had followed her there after a fight, according to the criminal complaint. The woman was hospitalized for her injuries."

DA Chisolm's office explained that he was shocked -- shocked --at the inappropriately low bail for such a violent crime. He explained that this isn't the way his office normally handles violent crimes re bail--mistakes were made-- and he's going to get to the bottom of it. Yeah, right.

Readering,

What are the odds of drugs in his system? I'd say, pretty high. But they aren't exculpatory, unless the drugs in George Floyd's case were. And Floyd's case said that there were no drugs that mattered. So here there aren't either.

The dude ran through a very obvious traffic barrier and proceeded to barrel through about 40 people, five of whom are (currently) dead, and another half dozen of whom are in critical condition. Can we leave it at that, for the nonce?
