This will probably be the first podcast re this blog that I’ll listen to. After reading the synopsis I still don’t know if the thing that I thought was funny made it on the podcast. Gotta listen to the friggin podcast to find out.

In general do people seek out information that is contrary to their world view?

Sprezzatura said...

OMG, I’m a couple minutes into this. It looks like it’s an hour long. That can’t be right.

Sprezzatura said...

Althouse does impressions. This is really something. Are there numbers re how many people listen to these?

Attonasi said...

Is there a way to speed this up?

Could there be time-stamps for the various sections/topics of the podcast? Maybe I’m some sorta genius—cause, for example, I was able to fully understand the beat-w/-a-shovel-and-buried alive story w/o hearing the same facts repeated a dozen, or so, times—that doesn’t need to be saturated in repetitious jabber. I dunno.

OTOH, I would have missed some more impression stuff.

Is that the result of Althouse listening to a bunch of audio books?

Is the Washington Post the best source of left wing opinion?

Aren't there better representatives? ADSS?

Bouldering aficionados look for problems to climb a rock.

Brown shirts problemize the rock so that people have to get rid of it.

Do you think this is good training for kids going to college?

“Win at losing.”

I will be happy if he simply proves that the election was stolen, which it appears that phone banks that have called Republicans and asked them what they did and compared it to official results seems to have done.

50% of Republican absentee ballots were never received in AZ, for example. That’s from calling the “universe” of Republican voters there and asking them if they had voted and checking.

20% of Republican absentee ballots in Wisconsin never made it through. 44% in Michigan.

No Republican should ever vote absentee.

I don’t blame Trump for being pissed off.

tim in vermont said...

42% of Republican absentee ballots were “lost” in PA.

Not to mention that if normal percentage of ballots rejected for signature problems had held, Trump easily would have won and in Nevada they turned off signature validation, as in PA.

If you don’t care about the integrity of our elections, what’s the point of talking about the constitution?

tim in vermont said...

Wisconsin did an end around on Voter ID.

In states where mail in voting is the norm, Republicans simply can’t win statewide office. That’s what has turned Colorado deep blue. Fraud is just way too easy.

“Win at losing” That’s the old Republican Party, the “Washington Generals"

On not casting an autistic actor @BridgetPhetasy tweeted...

"You can’t play a murderer in a film unless you’ve murdered someone. Sorry actors. Them’s the rules."

So O.J’s movie career may be headed for a comeback!

In last 24 hours Trump/Trumpists lost cases in NV, AZ, PA.

Trump: "Romney lost by a lot." Biden's margin now same as Obama 2012. More counting to go.

Dark web will go on about stolen election. Children in history books will be taught about worst incumbent drubbing since Hoover.

Rittenhouse, if he flees is signals he's guilty.

Dominion software fled its offices.

TinV,

I see that yur jabbering about the current conspiracy du jour stuff. Have you also been amped up w/ all the other theories that turned out to be BS a day or so after they were introduced?

Move the rock to the confederate soldier cemetery.

"Petered out" is an interesting phrase. My interest in Prof's chats peters out pretty quickly. That doesn't mean I don't love the blog still, and look forward to it every day.

Call it the new niggerhead art installation, replacing the rock.

Althouse finally calls it "the indian burial ground."

Just perform a voodo ceremony to kill the soul of the boulder by smearing it with chicken guts. Then, after a respectful interval, have another ceremony to create a new birth rock inside the dead husk of the boulder. Then the new rock can live and grow as a new non- rasict creature. Cheaper than blasting.

Trump rape?

Kavanaugh rape?

Ukranian influencing?

You are just a fucking idiot.

" Have you also been amped up w/ all the other theories that turned out to be BS a day or so after they were introduced?”

No. This one is based on a project which has set a goal to call hundreds of thousands of Republican voters and asked them whether or not they sent in a ballot or voted, and checking the data. I have said many times that the mostly bullshit coming out of GatewayPundit is more harmful than helpful to Trump.

Oh yea, and what Achilles said.

tim in vermont said...

What I do notice is that narrative hall monitors like readering don’t have any response to this one. It’s not just missing absentee ballots either, its people who claim they didn’t vote listed as having voted and people who claim they never asked for an absentee having had one sent in their name and voted.

This is hundreds of thousands of phone calls turning up significant numbers of these kinds of cases. I would really like it explained to me how this wrong, or even is a "conspiracy theory," it’s simply a statement of facts on the ground.
