Michelle Dulak Thomson said...: Wow, that looks nothing like "goldenrod" as I grew up with it in NY. Ours had small, almost fuzzy flowers, in little congealed clumps. It wasn't slender or sword-like as yours is. Obviously a completely different plant.; 10/4/20, 5:09 PM

RBE said...: I looked up your goldenrod because it looks so different from the plants that grow where I live. I didn't know there were so many varieties. I think the goldenrod pictured are.. called Zig-zag goldenrod (Solidago flexicaulis). Very delicate.; 10/4/20, 6:12 PM

h said...: Here's something I didn't know: there are 3332 living POWs; 1888 from WWII (this is what surprised me that the WWII number was so high); 1085 from Vietnam. 99% male; 86% white.
