Professor Turley blogged about the handwritten notes of former CIA Director John Brennan that were declassified on Oct. 7, and "the utter blackout on the story" by the mainstream media. I subscribe to four national newspapers. Did they all miss this story? Short answers: New York Times: yes, a miss. Washington Post: mostly a miss. Wall Street Journal: mostly a miss in the news pages; the editorial pages got it. The winner? The Epoch Times. They did a nice job covering this story, and even gave Brennan's side of the story. FullMoon said...: Last week the wife burned some old paperwork in the fireplace. Swept up still smoking ashes with a plastic bristled broom . Naturally, melted many of the bristles making the broom almost useless.
I didn't complain.
Also, did not complain when cardboard box she put ashes in began smoldering. Simply quickly took it outside and hosed it down.
Today, while at store getting a case of beer, bought her a nice new broom/dustpan combo.
Not the $8.99 one. The $14.99 good one.
Did I get a thank you? Not bloody likely.

Legal question - If conservatives in Colorado now have two examples (or more) where their right for peaceful protest is dangerously and now fatally intimidated by the BLM/Antifa mob - and the city and police do not protect them or have procedures to protect their rights - does this become a Civil Rights case ?

So I notice that there is a sidebar with 'news' and what is trending.

Tonight it's all about tall black men who hate America but are good at putting a ball through a hoop. A sport that makes them ungodly wealthy invented by a white man, and yet they still hate America.

And a 'news' story about CardiB (who I don't know anything about other than she hates America), and I wonder...

...how is it that 12% of the population dominates the news? If Oprah lifts a finger it gets 24/7 coverage. Same for the Obamas, BLM, etc.

I've subscribed to the Wall Street Journal for years...very expensive. It has turned into BET. Every story on the weekend is about how minorities are affected by this or that. Every profile is of a black singer or actor. Every advertisement features black or inter-racial couples...
