Trump shifts his attack on Biden from insinuations that he suffers from old-age-related dementia to the more general impairment of "low IQ."

Biden is a crook.

Biden used his position as VP to enrich his son with American Tax Dollars washed clean thru a Ukrainian energy company.

That's not low IQ, Trump. That's sleazy criminal smarts.

"Alive and well"?

I dunno. A lot of elderly folks across the US died in their nursing homes of Wuhan-Chi-Com Hillary-virus.
The economy had to be destroyed for her->. Deplorable needed to die. Revenge.

It's multiple choices with Joe Biden; Creepy, Slow, Low IQ, Corrupt, and Demented. They all apply, Trump will use whichever best fits the moment.

Low IQ isn't an insult. It's about a qualification.

1. Joe Biden has been on the wrong side of almost every single foreign policy issue for the past four decades.
2. Joe Biden has dementia. He won't get any better than he is now, which is impaired beyond ability to speak extemporaneously without getting lost almost immediately, and impaired beyond use of a teleprompter for more than a few minutes without losing his place and getting lost.
3. Joe Biden was known as a mental lightweigth while in the Senate, and while VP.

I think it is safe to say Joe Biden isn't being "attacked" by Trump.
Biden is being "described accurately" by Trump.

It's really too bad Joes family is more into the money and power than they are worried about the dementia he is going through in front of the world.... I hope it is worth it to them. I see abuse.

If Joe Biden were a Republican, there would be investigations and his political career would be over. His son Hunter would be forced out of his easy life of easy money.

Joe has made an issue of his IQ during campaign events, and it stretches back 30 years.

I think Trump really needs to switch gears and just say and tweet nice things about Joe from here on out. No one like a bully that picks on the infirm or ailing. And it would cost Trump nothing at this point.

Trump needs to prepare the country for his plans in a 2nd term and it would be a good time to shift attention to that, rather than trip a struggling, old, hobo trying to keep his bearings.

I'm not a fan of the "low IQ' phrasing. I prefer creepy, sleazy, corrupt and suffering from age related dementia.

Agreed. IQ is a qualification, a certification, a metric to predict performance in select tasks.

The insinuation is analogous to the use and rationalization of "viability" associated with human life by eugenicists and their evolution as abortionists in the pursuit of their conception of social progress.

Now Trump is getting down to brass tacks.

Biden will have his good days and his bad days, but on his good days, he isn't very bright (that is, he has the IQ of a box of rocks). This joker lurked around the Senate as a senator or VP since 1972 to 2017. He is a one-man demonstration of the Althouse rule: better than nothing is a high standard. Nothing would be better than Biden on his best day.

Narayanan said...

low IQ could also stick to VP succession which seems to be D strategy Plan B if Biden is aborted surreptitiously.

Browndog said...

Trump thinks he's running against Biden. How cute.

He should think about actually doing something, like defending and protecting his base from censorship and cancel culture, and stopping the massive voter fraud everyone knows is heading our way.

That's sleazy criminal smarts.

It was other people's smarts. Biden is a tool - and a not very sharp one.

He was smart enough to know what was going on, but I don't see him as the mastermind behind anything.

Here's called "Slow Joe" for a reason. I first remembered Biden for his attacks on Bork in 1987. He had a condescending attitude toward Bork, and believed he could argue constitutional law with him. Bork sliced and diced him, and made him look like a moron. Which isn't hard. He then plagiarized Niel Kinnock's speech and dropped out in 1988. In 1991, he again showed his lack of brains during the Thomas hearings. His questions were just garrulous speeches and simple-simon talking points provided by his staff. He was no better during the Robert's hearings.

And despite 35 years in the Senate, he was never in the leadership. His debates in 2008 and 2012 were unimpressive. Low IQ? Certainly not high IQ.

Biden is now claiming to be the Co-president with Obama, but can anyone remember Biden doing anything?

I am sure that is what you said when people were calling George W. Bush dumb too.

Trump doesn't have the benefit of a lying corrupt press supporting him like the democrats have had. So he has to do it all himself.

Biden is being carried by the media. Biden has dementia and you support him.

You think this makes Trump weak...

You are just a stupid person.

rcocean said...

Biden is against "systemic racism" and in favor of "police reform". So why didn't he do anything about it from 1974-2016? That's 34 years in the Senate and 8 years as VP

There was the Iranian deal that denied counterclaims, affirmed domestic adversity, and funded their foreign "activities".

W1a (2014-) TV series has Izzy, a not-quite-yet-cynical young woman who sees talent in Will, a low-IQ intern, punches out a male co-worker/suitor for asking her why she defends "that Forest Gump."

Which means that the show writers, and so she, don't understand Forest Gump. It's a story of good character, not low IQ. Low IQ was the vehicle. She'd defend Forest Gump for exactly the reasons she defends Will.

Time for Biden's folks to pull out the good old Senator Roman Hruska defense. If I recall correctly (and since I'm about the same age as Joe Biden, recall is a sometimes thing) Hruska stood on the Senate floor and defended the nomination of T. Clement Haynsworth for a seat on one of the circuit courts of appeal. The nomination had been challenged on the ground that Haynsworth had "a mediocre intellect". Hruska got up on his verbal hind legs and roared that "mediocre people deserve representation too"---or words to that effect.

Being of mediocre laziness I have not Googled the incident to get the precise words used.
But I do know that I'm not talking about Senator Cornpop.

"Low IQ"

Uh, oh. Now Trump's done it. Bound to lose half the electorate with that insult.

I have watched Joe Biden on the political stage for 40 years- the man had an average IQ when he was much younger. A smarter person wouldn't have told some of the lies Biden has told over the years- when one lies, a smart person makes sure they are the sorts of lies that can't be proven with documentary evidence. A smarter person would not make the multiple gaffes Biden has made over the years. Watching him over the last year, I can pretty much say any intelligence he had is now gone- if you gave Biden a simple addition/subtraction problem, he almost surely couldn't do it, and any logic problem would leave him stuttering. You are basically watching a man who probably has to ask where the bathroom or bedroom is multiple times a week.

“You are basically watching a man who probably has to ask where the bathroom or bedroom is multiple times a week.”

So the goal is get the man himself to display that condition to the wider public. Trump’s insults aren’t for convincing the public. They’re for goading Biden into exposing his condition. To get Biden’s people on TV insisting that their boy really, really isn’t dumb/crazy/demented.

It doesn’t matter if Biden is just naturally stupid, or stupid due to declining health. The result is the same, and it’s evident in his own, carefully staged and edited campaign ad videos. SloJo garbles approximately every fifth word in the script, or simply drops it entirely, and looks in need of sleep. I’m sure he’ll be taking a good, relaxing dirt nap soon, probably before Inauguration Day.

Yeah. Millions upon millions of Americans are longing for ceaseless chaos, anarchy and violence and will vote against Trump in favor of a senile old creep.

Especially mothers, who look forward to seeing their children face a lifetime of misery.

The fact that Joe Biden is demonstrably stupid should be news to no one. He is one of the worst of the old-breed politicians still kicking around in the swamp. Only in such a place can a liar, a plagiarist, a thief, a grifter, a sexist, a raving flaming lecherous type like him survive all these years, because he's " just Joe" he's " so charming" etc etc.
He is too lecherous to let around children and women for most of his adult life.
And yes, in the case of his son Hunter, lets just say that apple did not fall far from that evil tree.

case in point:
A smarter person wouldn't BRAG about graduating "in the top half" of his class

half the people in the class graduate "in the top half" of the class. it's nothing to brag about
ESPECIALLY IF IT IS NOT TRUE

Maybe the huffig/puffing re 25th amendment wasnt primarily for Trump

As far as Slow Joe's IQ and senility, why not embrace the power of "And?"

His best moments back in 1988 were lecturing that undecided voter about his high IQ and class standing.

In 19 dem primaries, including the ones where Biden is the only active dem candidate, Gropey Liitle Girl Sniffer Biden can barely get to 60% in dem primary votes and often falls short of that.

I dont believe that is what Bidens Beijing masters had in mind when they stuffed $1.5 Billion into Hunters pocket.

Yeah, Trump should just keep pretending that calling Joe Biden names will make voters forget the pandemic, the protests, the police riots, and the economic debacle, and make them somehow overlook the sad, sad spectacle of Trump's helplessness in the face of duty.

I don't know whether I'd call that a strategy, exactly. But coming up with juvenile nicknames, and pretending that his disasters really are A-OK, are two things Trump does really, really well. At this point, he's probably best off sticking with his strengths.

Every thing you're complaining about was properly the responsibility of governors and mayors.

The Republican ones handled it well.. The Democrat ones fucked it up.

I guess since you Democrats are the Party of fuckups, all you can do is try to blame your fuckups on someone else
