"More Americans approve of the job congressional Republicans are doing than of congressional Democrats' performance — 40% vs. 35%."

"The rating for Republicans in Congress has risen six percentage points since late October, before the impeachment of President Donald Trump in the U.S. House of Representatives. Over the same period, congressional Democrats' approval rating has edged down three points and disapproval has climbed five points, from 57% to 62%."

Gallup reports.

The only people mesmerized by Adam Schitt's lies are democrat party-hacks in the media and hiveminders who buy all the lies sold to them by those party-hacks.

They also think Trump is doing a better job handling Corona virus than Obama did.

That is an objective fact though.

Even Gavin Newsome had to admit Trump is doing his job well.

One party supports open borders.

The other party wants immigration laws enforced.

The democrats are going to regret using the COVID-19 virus to try to tank the economy.

Definitely caused by the impeachment effort.

The populous message has been heard and believed by enough people after 3 years of Trump, Bannon and Q preaching it that the Congressional corrupt ones are lucky not to be in Jail. popularity is not the question.

Who could approve of Schumer who issued threats on SCOTUS Justices? And Nancy Pelosi said something to the effect that the future of civilization is at stake if Trump wins.

Neither appear to be doing much of anything.

"About three in four Americans say they are very (31%) or somewhat confident (46%) in the federal government's ability to handle an outbreak of the coronavirus. This is a higher level of confidence than Gallup has found for the government's handling of previous health scares."

These results are from a Feb. 3-16 Gallup poll, which began just days after the Trump administration announced it would suspend entry of foreign nationals into the U.S. among those who had traveled to China in the prior two weeks.

"The combined 77% of Americans who are generally confident in the federal government's ability to handle a potential coronavirus outbreak tops the confidence Americans had that it could handle the Zika virus, the Ebola virus, the H1N1 virus (swine flu) and the bird flu at the time of those medical crises, between 2005 and 2017."

Cherry picking the data again. It looks as though the generic Congressional ballot is holding pretty steady over the past several months with a substantial advantage for Democrats. A summary of the polling data, based on multiple polls, is here: https://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/other/2020_generic_congressional_vote-6722.html#!

There are violent low IQ people in every population.

If there weren't there would be no democrat voters.

It makes sense that people aren't as thrilled with the Congressional Democrats behavoir of late. Not that the Congressional Republicans are viewed as being that much better necessarily, it's just that they haven't been as much of a focus in the news lately. I believe it comes down to the fact that the more you see of the people in power, the less likely you are to like them. It's like picking up a rock and seeing a profusion of palid bugs scurrying away from the light. Creatures like Jerry Nadler and Adam Schiff are natural cave dwellers, they may have great niche appeal in their weird districts, but normal people find them repulsive.

The House has had a spectacularly poor record since 2018.

I'm sorry for Democrats that they believed the lies of Pelosi, Schiff and Schumer (amongst the rest of them) You got what you wanted.

Say, whatever happened to that Schiff character? Nothing but silence from the rat. I thought he'd never shut up. Does he have hoof and mouth disease? Which is a really bad thing to get.

I think you're exactly right, Nonapod. It's not just Hillary. Most of these fuckers are revolting and despicable. People resent it if they can't avoid seeing, hearing and thinking about them. The impeachment was a mistake, but televising it compounded the error.

I doubt if anyone (party hack or not) believed the Impeachment Hoax except for the dumb and uninformed.

It was just a tool.

When you're out of power your approval rises -- applies both to Republicans in the House and Democrats running for president.

I understand he did well in his primary vote. No explaining LA.

It's important to include in that group the NeverTrump republicans who were, all along, really just democrats who happened to find a good grift angle posing as "principled conservatives" and "Lifelong republicans".

His district includes West Hollywood, Burbank, and basically all of Hollywood, the dense core of a liberal bubble. They would vote for an old shoe if it had a (D) by it.

Maybe Newsome actually believes it. I hope he does, But it's also possible that he realizes he's more likely to get what he wants by buttering up Trump, regardless of what he really thinks.

Yet, it was Republican before Watergate. Probably redistricted. I think it was Burbank-Glendale before.

Senators and congressmen, like Schumer and Schiff, who are frequently re-elected but hated outside their local area are usually very good at constituent services. Their office staff is organized so that Aunt Suzy's social security problem is fixed right away, if she is one of his constituents. They respond quickly and not with form letters. I saw this with Strom Thurmond's office in South Carolina.

I never think approval ratings for "Congress" tell you very much. It's been my experience that people will tend to give low approval ratings to "Congress" but relatively higher ratings to individual Congressman, depending on one's party affiliation.
