At last, it's Muellerday.
ADDED: I watched for the first 40 minutes, then bailed. Too much yelling by congresspersons. Too much stammering and "will you repeat the question" from Mueller. Mueller's testimony is the report. He's said that before and he's saying it again, over and over. With such a dull central character, the theatrical routine is boring and annoying.

No single individual has done more to corroborate Trump's charges of a Democrat-led witch hunt than Mueller, who showed today he had no day-to-day oversight of his own investigation, no knowledge of his employees' backgrounds, and no understanding of basic claims in his report.
Old man testifies about clouds.
So..Mueller called Barr (and others who were present when Snoop Dog Mueller was asked about it..twice) a liar regarding the sitting president issue preventing him from pursuing further.
I don't remember him calling foul on that before this televised circus.
I wonder how Barr will react.

Here is the comment I wrote a couple of nights ago at MeaninginHistory about what I expected from today's hearing:
"I expect the Mueller hearing to be a big fat nothingburger for all involved.
(1) I don't think Mueller ever had any intention of veering off the highway of his report, and I think this letter he wrote asking what the parameters are was Mueller's way of passing the buck back to Barr since he knew exactly what the DoJ's advice was going to be- even I could have written that DoJ letter and I am not even a lawyer or a government employee. So, after the hearing, the Democrats plan is to blame Barr for Mueller's lack of new detail, and for Mueller's lack of advice to impeach Trump.
(2) Though I do think the Republicans on the two committees plan to grill Mueller with really difficult questions, I expect Mueller to refuse to answer most of them, refer to the report, claim he doesn't recall, or, in the most dire circumstances, fake a stroke."
The only part I got wrong is that Mueller might not really have to fake a stroke- he seems to already be actually suffering from one.
Mueller tried to pretend this investigation had nothing to do with politics.
Oh, and DRINK!
Mueller didn't even write his own report. The democrats and Hillary supporters did.

Armstrong: Did you know Andrew Weissmann praised Sally Yates for directly disobeying a presidential order?
Mueller: Not going to talk about it.
Armstrong: Did you know Jeanie Rhee worked for the Clinton Foundation?
Mueller: Not going to talk about it.
Mueller is a bumbling idiot on purpose. Only surrounding tough questions from the opposition. His answers to corrupt democrats are no different than before.
Actually the President is above some law. He can even order people to be killed, have an aspirin factory blown to bits, run guns, or spy on journalists. You try that.
And...it's over.
the democrat party is a piece of shit.
Yancey Ward said...
Also, cognitively impaired or not, he doesn't appear to have written any part of his own report, nor, do I think, even read it himself.

this is why I despair at the Republican dunderheads.
Do they even collude-collude (plan ahead) for Committee Hearings
They never lay a foundation! >>> Mueller should have been asked this in so many words.
The Dems whole message today is that anybody else but the President would be charged for obstruction. That's probably true and the law says that's how it works, but how do you square that claim with Hillary's private server, smashed cell phones and deleted emails? Maybe they think that protection also applies to whoever you want to be President.
Revenge for Hillary never dies.
btw- I wonder when she will announce she is running again?
I think some of the Repubs did a great job. At a few points I felt like giving the old man a hug out of my deep compassion, but it's still just theater. Maybe the IG and Barr will deliver some real justice eventually. It seems pretty clear that the crimes of the FBI are there, very serious, and well documented. Of course that means nothing in government work.
I wonder when she will announce she is running again?
I've been wondering about this myself. With the radical progressives turning off independents and uncle Joe looking more and more like Mueller, you can see a clear opening for a sane Democrat. Hillary has got to be seeing herself as the party savior about right now.
"Anyone else buying this doddering old man act that Mueller is trying to pull? I remember his press conference back in May when he announced the results of his investigation. He certainly didn't sound like an Alzheimer's patient back then. And the Democrats had all day yesterday to coach him. If they thought he was unfit to testify, they would've put the kabosh on today's proceedings. It's when they told Christine Blasey Ford to speak in a barely audible, mousy little voice. She doesn't talk like that. And you could see her smirking when she did. So, Mueller doesn't go from being a functioning adult in May to a senile old man in July. Something is going on here in this hearing that's clearly rotten."

Obstruction - over a crime that never happened.
For those who had something better to do with their life than keep their eyes glued to a congressional hearing, here's a good collection of short clips accurately depicting Mueller's serious Mild Cognitive Impairment memory problems:
MONTAGE: CONFUSED-LOOKING MUELLER REPEATEDLY ASKS FOR QUESTIONS TO BE REPEATED
‘Can you repeat the question, sir?
'...In one such exchange, Mueller — under questioning from Rep. James Sensenbrenner (R-Wisc.) — asked: “And where are you reading from on that?”
“I’m reading from my own question” the lawmaker reminded him.
“Then can you repeat it?” Mueller asked, eliciting laughter from the audience.'

“Obstruction of Justice IS a crime you blithering idiot.”
Of course it is. But the list that you provided doesn’t list any examples of Obstruction. None. Zip. Zero. Nada.
For those of you who have bee through this before please skip over this because it is a rehash of what I have said before.
The examples of possible Obstruction listed in the Mueller report don’t rise to the level required by either the courts or the DoJ. One thing missing is that they put together several Obstruction statutes in a way that essentially turned the specific intent requirement (Mens Rea) into a general intent requirement. Instead of having to prove that the action taken was done in order to Obstruct Justice, all that is required under the revised Weissman/Lawfare interpretation is that the action was intentionally taken. A good example of this is the firing of Comey. The Mueller prosecutors proposed this as Obstruction because Trump potentially affected the Russian collusion probe by firing Comey. The general intent is that Trump intended to fire Comey, and did. But Obstruction of Justice requires the specific intent (Mens Rea) of doing an act that Obstructs Justice, and that was impossible in the case of firing Comey, because Comey repeatedly lied to Trump about him being under investigation for colluding with the Russians. Trump couldn’t have Obstructed Justice there, because he couldn’t have had the specific intent to hinder that investigation, because he didn’t know that there was an ongoing investigation, because he had been lied to by the head of the FBI.
The Weissman/Witte Obstruction cstatutory interpretation on display in Part 2 of the report was cobbled together taking clauses out of context and ignoring long standing rules of statutory interpretation. The best explanation of what I hey were attempting to do and why it wouldn’t fly in any courtroom in the country, is probably found in Barr’s June 2018 memo to ((then) DAG Rosenstein, where he essentially eviscerates their theory. It should surprise no be that it was rejected by AG Barr, DAG Rosenstein, and maybe most importantly, the Office of Legal Counsel (OLC), whose job it is to interpret criminal statutes for DoJ prosecutors.
And that was the real reason why Mueller and his team of prosecutors refused to opine whether or not Trump had Obstructed Justice. Because if they had tried to, AG Barr’s question to SC Mueller would have been “Why don’t you think that you are bound by OLC statutory interpretations as the rest of DoJ is? Also, maybe, “Can you cite a single case accepting your statutory interpretation?” And the required a do-over in according to relevant DoJ statutory interpretations and court jurisprudence. By doing it the way that they did pretending that they couldn’t opine on whether the actions by Trump were unlawful as Obstruction of Justice, they were able to include all that dirt in their final product without having to acknowledge that it wasn’t legally Obstruction of Justice.
When George Papadopolous pled guilty, I was sure the tide of popular opinion had turned, and Trump would soon be forced out of office.
When Paul Manafort was found guilty, I was sure the tide of popular opinion had turned, and Trump would soon be forced out of office.
When Rick Gates pled guilty, I was sure the tide of popular opinion had turned, and Trump would soon be forced out of office.
When Michael Flynn pled guilty, I was sure the tide of popular opinion had turned, and Trump would soon be forced out of office.
When Michael Cohen pled guilty, I was sure the tide of popular opinion had turned, and Trump would soon be forced out of office.
When the Mueller Report was released, I was sure the tide of popular opinion had turned, and Trump would soon be forced out of office.
When Barr was forced to testify about the Mueller Report, I was sure the tide of popular opinion had turned, and Trump would soon be forced out of office.
Now today that Mueller has been forced to testify, I am sure that the tide of popular opinion has turned, and Trump will soon be forced out of office.
Even Inga knows this was a disaster. If it had gone well for her side she would have been posting up a storm.
Someone (Chris Wallace?) opined that the winner today is Nancy Pelosi. Serious impeachment efforts died today.
If I were a Democrat, Lefty, Progressive, or #Resistance partisan I would be PISSED at Jerry Nadler for going ahead with this appearance by Mueller. If he knew or had an inkling it would go this way then he should have cancelled. If he didn't know, he's thoroughly incompetent. The old trail lawyer's saw: don't ask the witness a question you don't already know the answer to.
@ Browndog
Weissman did. He hired all the lawyers, ran the entire show.
Indeed. The supreme Hillary hack.
And just spitballin' a bit: I bet Pelosi is delighted with the way this went, it will help her keep the Democrat impeachment wolves at bay.
Serious impeachment efforts were dead for all but the bitterest of clingers before today.
“The biggest takeaway from today is going to be this- he was never in charge of this investigation- he was a figurehead. The person who needs to be called for a public hearing is the man in charge- that person was Andrew Weissmann. Of course, the Democrats can't call Weissmann for a public hearing because the first question that will asked by the opposition is, "Since you were a public supporter of Hillary Clinton, why didn't you recuse yourself from the investigation?" This is a question he can't answer without lying.”
I think that there would be plenty of others. I would start though by asking him where he was on election night in 2016. But I would also dive into his meetings with Christopher Steele and Glenn Simpson starting several months earlier, in late summer of 2016, and what he was told by those two about their motivations, funding, and corroborations.
Ted Lieu is on MSNBC swearing up and down Trump must be impeached.
He thinks the hearing has proved felony obstruction.
Ted Lieu is a moron.
Inga- please inform yourself by reading Bruce Hayden's comments.
Even Inga knows this was a disaster. If it had gone well for her side she would have been posting up a storm.
No doubt the evening news and the cable news will be broadcasting snippits to validate the accusation that Trump obstructed justice, as well as evidence he probably colluded with Russia.
So Mueller says 'other people' are looking at Misfud, GPS, Steele, etc. Great. Bring it!
“Weissman did. He hired all the lawyers, ran the entire show.”
Critically, he was brought into McCabe’s cabal nine months or so before his transfer to the Mueller investigation.
The Silver Alert worked.
Mueller managed to be led back into the room by an unidentifiable third party.
I watched a bit of the hearing near the end, and it was really obvious that Mueller was not in charge, did not write the report himself, and that there was no crime committed by the President and his team.
So I fully expect the Democrats to find some other 'issue' to scream about to try and drum up impeachment fever.
This will not change anything in DC.
As has been sadi, all the Demcrats need to do to beat DJT is to not be crazy, and they are not capable of doing that.
Oh - where's the popcorn?
I thought the 2nd show trial was tomorrow. I guess not.

Andrew Weissmann must be hauled before congress for questioning.
Boy, Schiff sure knows hot to lay it on thick. He makes Trump sound worse than Hitler.
Sorry, not buying the dementia act one bit. A big tell is that the left wing media is pushing it hard in a very coordinated fashion.
Wow from @RepArmstrongND. “When did you learn one of your top attorneys, Andrew Weissmann, attended Hillary Clinton’s 2016 election night party?”
Mueller: “I’m not sure.”
Armstrong: “Isn’t that a conflict of interest?”
Mueller: “I’m not going to answer that.”
Again:
Q to Mueller:

He is not familiar with Fusion GPS.
They should have ended this entire show at that moment. Walked out laughing.
So in the past 3 years, the Dems have turned into the party that spied on the other party's campaign, started a deep state coup, covered up the deep state coup, illegally leaked daily info to the communications arm of their party (media), tried to lynch a Supreme Court candidate, put anti-Semites up front as the face of the party, put it's support behind BDS, slammed all white people as throwaways, opened our borders to anyone and everyone without question, offered schooling, medical care, and housing to the incoming world- looking to us to pick up that tab, offer free college and asking us to pay off current college loans for everyone, raised minimum wage to $15...no wait...$20 (for now), and finally- went full-boat Socialist promising the moon and knowing that no one will make it out alive except for them and their close friends.
If this party exists in 10 years, I'll be surprised. If Trump would quit Twitter, he'd win in a landslide.

When Mueller's office called the White House, they were put on hold. Obstruction!
Mueller doesn't know what Fusion GPS is? "Yes, I write about the NFL, but I've never heard of this 'Tom Brady' person you keep referring to."
Mueller strikes a Clintonian pose.
Mueller signaled very explicitly ahead of time that he didn't want to testify and that if he did, he'd just stick quite narrowly to the report. So if Dems think the hearing went poorly, they should be blaming leadership and others who called for the hearing, not Mueller. - Nate Silver

He is clearly mentally disabled via dementia.
Everyone is going to ask why he was put in charge.
The traitors made a huge mistake putting him in front of the country.
Ha! Mueller won't answer anything about Mifsud, but feels free to say the Trump campaign based its strategy on the leaked emails.
The question is whether Barr, who has supporting witnesses, or Mueller perjured themselves.
Achilles - heh
Mueller is a .... republican. That gives him super-hero protection from tough questions and the ultimate in gravitas. lol. That has to be the lamest attempt to give the man some sort of stature.
He's a republican like Joe Scarborough is a republican. *wink*
Mueller wanted Trump to give him a job. How could Mueller, a good republican, want to be affiliated with anything Trump - the icky orange man bad who beat the corrupt hag who was going to fill all the Stephanopolis rice bowls.
There is no evidence that Mueller has supported a conservative in any election.
He is a Democratic.
Some wag on Twitter: Mueller returned for the afternoon portion of the hearing. Guess the Silver Alert worked.

Either that, or ulterior motive(s), or he regrets his role in prosecuting the Democrats' witch hunts and warlock trials.
By the way, did Chuck go on vacation. The last comment of his I saw after the deal with Bay Area Guy was #19 in his quest to reach 50. Did Chuck just give up and leave? Did Bay Area Guy slay Puff the Dragon?
I'm seeing a lot of commentary in various places calling the Mueller thing 'over', and don't seem to realize he's testifying in another hearing right now.
Schiff is not Nadler. He's a shrewd lawyer.
What does "that's true in general" mean? Something is either true or it is not.
Did Trump shove a child into the pavement? True
Out of the way of a speeding car? Also True
I am on a message board that leans far, FAR left. I avoid all political threads there, because after 2016, it was total insanity for a while. But when politics is set aside, it's a nice group of people. If I ever disclosed voting for DJT (which I did whilst holding my nose in 2016 and will do so with enthusiasm next year), I would be run out of there on a rail.
A while back, it was decided that politics would be contained to a daily thread, and it's worked out very well. I occasionally glance at the thread, because it's an echo chamber of the left.
Even THEY can't spin this mess today. The thread, were this a bombshell against DJT, would be 20+ pages by now. It's on page 4.

Just watched again for a second. Mueller: "I'm not going to speak to that"
Am reminded of the General in the old MASH episode with the Incubator "This is a press conference! The last thing I want to do is answer a lot of questions!!"
Fen,
"In general" means "I cannot be convicted of perjury".
It's like a weatherman saying there's a 90% chance of rain -- never wrong.
Mueller didn't write his own report but somehow, the new meme, played perfectly by opportunistically dementia-addled Jimmy Stewart Mueller, is that Trump is really guilty of___________ all of the above and kicking puppies, but Mueller is just too old and lame to figure it out.
Not new, though. I started hearing this from the left a long time ago.
Question: “At any time with your investigation, was your investigation curtailed, or stopped, or hindered?”
Mueller: “No.”
Inga- please inform yourself by reading Bruce Hayden's comments.

"I'm not going to speak to that"
That's not even couched in legal/investi-gator terms...more akin to "I don't like that question."
Mueller discredited himself, not the President. Remember Mueller is the reason the investigation was seen as non-partisan and credible. Impeach an elected President based on an "investigation" whose credibility was guaranteed by that bumbling old man? Ridiculous! Why ever did they hold the hearings? Probably Nadler was too stupid to notice anything unusual about Mueller's reactions. Or suppose it was all an act. That means that Mueller, like one of those aging racketeers stumbling into court from a prison, felt he needed the protection of such an act from Bill Barr's DOJ investigations. It would mean he was certain Trump was going to be re-elected.
It is clear now that we must use the 25th Amendment......to remove the obviously senile and demented Mewler!!
Holy Cow - Mueller can't say whether or not his investigation found that the Trump campaign participated in the theft or publication of Clinton campaign emails.
What the hell has he been doing for two years?
The two will never meet because Inga is focused on the man while we are focused on the process of the deep state attempting a soft coup.
This is all so weird.
He says that's not in his purview.
"Are you stupid or what? They are focusing on FIVE Obstruction episodes, have you not been listening? They’ve been asking him multiple questions about this, he’s been answering."
I'm deaf; please summarize. Thanks.

Nadler is not stupid. He is:
1. Playing to his Rachel Maddow/Inga audience and
2. Trying to muddy the water before the IG report comes out.
Notice that this is happening in the summer when a lot more people tend to ignore the media. The timing of this charade mitigates its disaster.
I apparently missed the part where Mueller retracted his answer to the Dem congresscritter- and returned to the same stance of May- that his team never made a determination that Trump obstructed.
The original answer really wasn't what the talking heads and Inga claimed, but now even that talking point disappears.
I would love to hear Inga give a rational and non-damning explanation for Mueller's ludicrous claim of knowing nothing about Fusion GPS. You know, the creators of the dossier used as justification for, well, everything related to his probe.
I suspect Inga will not answer this, and will ludicrously claim that our amazement at this jaw dropping claim is unwarranted and a "nothingburger".
Because Inga. Inga never changes.
Mueller doesn't know what Fusion GPS is? "Yes, I write about the NFL, but I've never heard of this 'Tom Brady' person you keep referring to."
As a side note, there’s a trial or trial prep going on now and the attorney is trying to keep his client the college president from testifying.
The attorney who has been practicing for some time kept telling the judge he didn’t understand or he never heard of the term “cross examination.”
I think that was the term.

Inga is just an unintelligent person with low self-esteem, a big ego, high aggression, and a need to be viewed as a 'smart, caring, person' by her peers. She is more than willing to be dishonest in service of her needs. She has the 'John Belushi Cocktail' of personality traits.
She sees people in stereotypes, is incapable of cogent independent thought and critical analysis.
IOW, she is perfect fodder for propaganda, disinformation, and spin campaigns. If conservatives had the media, she would be a conservative. She just sooooo needs to belong. She's just a follower personality in a place where her lack of critical thinking ability is exposed as the suppurating cyst that it is. There are clear answers to many of those questions that Mueller could have given, including very innocent ones, but he didn't do so, and you do have to ask, "Why didn't he?"

Major Garret on CBS was just incredibly wrong about Mifsud. He said he’d never been mentioned by Repubefire and was a replacement for the Steele storyline. I don’t think Major has been paying attention
I'm behind. Greed seems to be the word right now. Trump loses money while Clinton, Obama, Biden making millions from speeches and book deals.
Pretty funny.
Well, that was fun. Let's do it again real soon!
Schiff really does look like a bad deepfake.
> How do those 'algorithms' decide such things?
I gave up on Google news when it first came out, it was all fake news. I haven't looked at it since. Almost as bad as waiting at an airport with those awful CNN voices in the background.
It should, but my bet is that AOC at least tries to double-down.
That's my bet too, if twitter comments are anything to judge by.
But then I never thought Mueller would show up today. I didn't realize that he's mentally not there. (Or at least is ok with being seen as mentally not there).
he is trying very hard to limit his Trump commentary here to win the bet
Aww, I missed what the bet was. We need a FAQ section for Althouse commenters to keep track of things like this.
So no one asked Mueller how he could possibly concluded that Russians hacked the DNC server when no one in law enforcement ever had access to the server to examine it? Not that he would have answered, but it would have been fun to see his reaction.
Can we order a tox screen? I'll bet Mueller's Dem handlers dosed his coffee every morning, lead poisoning or somesuch, to make his mind a muddle that would rubber stamp anything they wanted.
The Babylon Bee Report on the hearing (linked to by Ace):
'I'm Still Sharp As A Tack,' Insists Mueller Moments Before Taking Phone Call On A Banana
WASHINGTON, D.C.—Robert Mueller was being criticized for seemingly answering questions slowly, not recalling key details of his investigation, and appearing to be confused throughout his testimony Wednesday.
After a brief recess, Mueller insisted he was entirely lucid.
"I hear a few murmurs out there that I've lost it," he said. "Well, I haven't lost it. I've still got it. In fact, I'm still sharp as a tack."
Before testimony could resume, however, Mueller interrupted the proceedings, appearing to reach for his cell phone. "I really have to take this," he said apologetically as he reached into his pocket and pulled out a banana. "Yeah, go for Bob."
Mueller proceeded to have what appeared to be a five-minute conversation on the fruit as bewildered congresspeople looked on. "Well, tell them I don't want to be there this Friday. Matlock's on, you know that. You know I don't go out when Matlock is on." He shrugged apologetically at those in the room, mouthing "sorry."
"Look, if the consulate has a problem with that, tell them they can call me themselves," he concluded, slamming the banana back down on the table.
At publishing time, Mueller was seen giving clear, concise, lucid testimony to a soap dispenser in the restroom.

I suppose Ann let's Inga post here for her comic value or because Ann is being kind to the mentally challenged
Likely the former.
Does anyone here have a memory of Inga ever admitting she was wrong about a thing?
So she has no value as regards intellectual integrity.
She's allowed to play the fool here only because that increases traffic and hits.
I just heard the clip of Mueller's desperate bumbling answer to...
"Did Trump COLLUDE with the Russians?"
His answer was "we don't use the word collude."
So why did we get 2+ years of CNN and Maddow and the rest of the hack press using that word?
did Jon Voigt write his testimony?
did "Republicans Pounce" on this poor old man?
We can dig into every crevasse of Trump and anyone associated with him. We cannot know anything about Hillary's massive corruption.

That's what's so weird about this. Supposedly it's to stop Russia from meddling in the future. But we only look at Trump and have no idea how the accusations came about??? And we don't look at 2018? And we don't look back to say, 2008.
An epic legal face-plant.
What a joke - the Delusional Leftwing Fuckhead Party publically embarrasses itself once again.
Old man look at my life
I'm a lot like you were
Old man look at my life
I'm a lot like you were.
Old man look at my life
Twenty four and there's so much more
Live alone in a paradise
That makes me think of two
Love lost, such a cost
Give me things that don't get lost
Like a coin that won't get tossed
Rolling home to you
Old man take a look at my life I'm a lot like you
I need Weissman to love me the whole day through
Ah, one look in my eyes and you can tell that's true
Neil Young, "Old Man" (1972)
Down the memory hole on this one. Day after tomorrow it never happened. Just like the hearing was "wiped with a cloth or something". And as we all know, "At this point, what does it matter?"
I just caught up on all this around the net.
It's worse for the Dems than I could have possibly hoped for.
Who has first shift suicide watch for Inga?
From what I've seen, The R's did a surprisingly good job. The D's, who are all liars and government whores, got some fantastic cumupance today. mmmm watching the left eat shit. good good good.
Of course Adam Schit has chosen to go down with the ship.
Apparently not even Mueller knows what Mueller knows.
Inga, Chuck, Freder and the gang will be back. The dems are nothing if not creative. They'll get their talking points and pep talks.
CNN was too funny in their depression, but they'll bounce back too.
I can hear them now, "Over? It's not over. Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?"
And then Comey will look Maddow in the eye and say, "You fucked up. You trusted us."
As congressional dog and pony shows go, this one was rather underwhelming.
I'm just happy that Bob Mueller finally got to learn what was in the Mueller Report.
Comey will have to take a long walk in the meadow, mumbling about Emmanel Kant, to process this one. Sheesh - what a farce. If this political stunt were a movie, it'd be "Heaven's Gate"
You want to take a measure of how badly this went for the Democrats today? Count how many comments you find in total in this thread from the following: Inga, Chuck, Deshitter, Freder, Howard, and stever uhr.
So, I have a serious question. I have no doubt both sides prep witnesses, despite that not being the point. But, look at Ford and now Mueller. Why are Democrats *so bad at preparing witnesses*?
It is harder to prep a witness to lie and obfuscate without opening them up to perjury charges. I also think that the left has a lesser ability to put themselves in their opponents' shoes and think about what that opposition might do in response- it is one the problems with being inundated the echo chamber of the mainstream media. Someone on the right has dealt with that echo chamber their entire lives- it makes a real difference.
Of course, in the case of Ford and Mueller, the witnesses were less than perfect- Ford was an obvious lunatic and Mueller was an escaped nursing home patient.
The dems are nothing if not creative. They'll get their talking points and pep talks.
The memos are being prepared right now. As soon as the NYT and WaPOO are prepped, the memos to the dopes will be on the way,.

Speaking for myself, you couldn’t be more wrong. It’s a huge waste of time arguing with Cultists, I had much better things to do today and I did. Today was NOT a good day for Trump and those who think it was are astoundingly deluded.
The left is one giant pooped-out talking point. The hivemind endures.
It was a great day for Trump.
It was a spectacularly bad day for the corruption party.
Armstrong: “When did you learn one of your top attorneys, Andrew Weissmann, attended Hillary Clinton’s 2016 election night party?”
Mueller: “I’m not sure.”
Armstrong: “Isn’t that a conflict of interest?”
Mueller: “I’m not going to answer that.”
"Today was NOT a good day for Trump and those who think it was are astoundingly deluded."
-- How wasn't it? The best that I saw was Mueller said Trump could be charged when he left office. Which... yeah. I could be charged right now too. It was a meaningless bone thrown to assuage the afflicted.
Rep. Steve Chabot (R-OH): “When you talk about the firm that produced the Steele [dossier], the name of the firm that produced that was Fusion GPS. Is that correct?”
Robert Mueller: “I’m not familiar ... with that”
Chabot: “It’s not a trick question. It was Fusion GPS”

Mueller lied about what was in his report -- he should be brought up on lying to Congress. I refuse to believe he did not know that he stated collusion and conspiracy were largely synonymous (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u2YPHFR1g3I).
I can't believe he would lie so blatantly, but I can't think that he forgot. Or, if he had forgot, he wouldn't have said, "I am not sure what position we've previously taken; refer to my report," as he frequently did.
If the only thing keeping you from jail is that you’re the President, that’s a good sign you shouldn’t be President anymore.
Mueller: Trump could be indicted on Obstruction of Justice once he no longer is President.
Not a good look for a POTUS.
Likewise, I refuse to believe Mueller didn't know who Fusion GPS was. Basically, I don't trust his report. I don't believe he is the kind of senile that only raises its head when related to uncomfortable questions. I think he lied, knowingly, while under oath.
the best part was when Mueller bumbled about being asked about "collusion."
He mumbled and bumbled and tripped all over himself attempting to save face for his party, the corruption party. It was glorious and pathetic.
Inga: Trump could also be indicted for any number of things once he's no longer president. It doesn't mean there's a case for it. Mueller failed to demonstrate a case for indicting Trump -- in or out of office.
You hang on to that thread of delusion, Royal Ass Inga. Hang on.
I like his repetitive "Not going to talk about that" too. This was waste of time, but hey, he got his one promise of maybe Trump being indicted in there to keep the faithful.
Inga said..."Today was NOT a good day for Trump and those who think it was are astoundingly deluded."
How so?
So what we learned today was that Mueller is a senile dotard and that the lawyer for Mr Bleachbit and Hammers, the original one, the one who destroyed evidence for Hillary, not the commenter here, was running the investigation day to day.
Wow.
“Mueller: Trump could be indicted on Obstruction of Justice once he no longer is President.”
That’s called “four flushing."
Original Mike: The left as a whole has pretty much latched on to the "he could be indicted after he leaves office" as Trump losing the day.

Also, I know double jeopardy deals solely with actual prosecution, but... does anyone REALLY think the DoJ is going to take a second bite at this apple?
All Inga needed was one poorly constructed sentence that allowed her to see in it what she wanted to see and she’s off again. Remember the John Doe witch hunt? There is no abuse of prosecutoral power to overturn a democratic electio that Inga won’t climb behind.
Some people might be ashamed. Vow to present a better candidate next time... Not Inga! It’s not over until we win!
#thefullnessoftime
I knew I could yank Inga's chain and get her to comment. Sure, Inga, you had better things to do and just happen to reply almost instantly when I point out your obvious silence.
This was a disaster for the impeachment crowd- even lunatics like Larry Tribe understood that, even if you claim not to.
“The left as a whole has pretty much latched on to the "he could be indicted after he leaves office" as Trump losing the day.”
LOL, Mueller admits that one of Hillary’s lawyers ran the investigation day to day and shows himself to be a senile old fool who doesn’t appear to have even read the report.
There's Inga again, bless her heart, twisting the meaning of Mueller's statement so as to make it conform to her own fantasies.
Cockroach Inga, feeding on whatever rancid shit she finds.
Think I'll go get some frozen custard!
Focus on Inga, when POTUs is spewing lies, bullshit and craziness on twitter and tv?
Collusion/Hoax Dossier Truther Cultist Inga: "If the only thing keeping you from jail is that you’re the President......"
LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL......
Well, looks like we know which way the wind blows.
“Focus on Inga, when POTUs is spewing lies, bullshit and craziness on twitter and tv?”
By “lies” you mean he says stuff you don’t agree with.
"House Democrats caught wind of Robert Mueller’s reluctance earlier this year: the special counsel may not be “up to” testifying after he concluded his Russia probe.
The chatter was second-hand and cryptic. Staffers negotiating to get Mueller to appear on Capitol Hill weren’t sure where the messages were originally coming from. Were people close to Mueller sending a signal? “ - Politico
He was a figurehead and the day to day operations were performed by highly partisan Democrats. That’s what we learned today.
One thing is very very clear: The Walls Are Closing In!!!
