The Democratic contenders see the Mueller report mostly as a way to build their fund-raising and supporter lists and, ultimately, as a 448-page blunt instrument best used for thwacking the president in next year’s campaign for his behavior.

Remember the story about Robert F. Kennedy talking to college students during his presidential run? It may be apocryphal but supposedly he told a college audience about how he was going to have free housing and jobs for all and free health care for the poor. The students went wild, applauding his proposals.
Then he said: "You know who is going to pay for all of this? Who is going to do all of this?" He pointed to the students, "You and you and you and you...."
Suddenly they all went quiet.
Democrat plan:
If you have open borders then you don't need to spend money on defense because you won't have a border to defend.
Use College Endowments to write down the College Loan debt. That is my solution.

Never mind that this would incentivize everybody with a pulse to rush out and borrow $50,000 pretend to go to university (or even really go if you've got the time and inclination) and then walk away from the debt.
Democrats really don't get that 'unintended consequences' thing. Or the whole 'incentives drive behavior' concept.
Colleges are like country clubs now, with layers and layers of administration, diversity coordinators etc. What a scam to make people who didn't attend college pay for people who chose to purchase something they couldn't afford. It is a subsidy for the upper middle class.
Pretty bold talk for someone who teaches one class at Harvard and gets paid $400K for it.
"Truly Transformational" is Libspeak for "More Statism."
She's right about the "transformational" part. It will transform us into a country where no one works, and no one pays their bills.
