So now Congressman Adam Schiff announces, after having found zero Russian Collusion, that he is going to be looking at every aspect of my life, both financial and personal, even though there is no reason to be doing so. Never happened before! Unlimited Presidential Harassment....

We know that the Hilary campaign and the FBI both colluded with Russians through their paid agent, Christopher Steele, who is himself a foreigner from Britain, to damage the Trump campaign. That is real collusion and is well known. So if collusion were a crime then those folks should all be on trial. Their crimes are of such an egregious nature that they could easily have stolen the election and indeed these criminals are still trying to nullify the election after the effect. On the other hand, the factors which led people to vote for Trump are obvious and they do not in anyway relate to Russia. The only possible exception on the horizon would be the Wikileaks which were factual posts which exposed the dark underbelly of the Democrat establishment and could have had some effect. Julian Assange was in operation before Trump declared as a candidate and so far no one has offered any evidence that there was any criminality surrounding his release of the leaks which may well have been an inside job.

@Illuminati - not clear that the Russians were ever involved in creating the Steele Dossier. Yes, if you read the Dossier, you would get that impression, that he had gotten dirt on Trump from the Russians, or more specifically, indirectly from the Russian government. But we know that while little of the Dossier has been verified, some has been debunked and discredited. One alternative theory is that much of the information in the Dossier actually came from illegal searching by FBI contractors (possibly including Fusion GPS) of NSA’s FISA Title VII database, and that Fusion and the FBI using Steele to launder that information to hide its origin from the FISC. Right now, we don’t know, because so much has been redacted, including, critically here, the list of FBI contractors illegally allowed access to the NSA databases in a FISC opinion. Hopefully, we can start to get some straight answers after the Mueller investigation shuts down, and can no longer block a DoJ and FBI disclosures of wrongdoing.
Normally I just skip over this Inga person’s comments because she seems so angry and sad but to call anyone who supports the President of the United States of America a cultist is beyond disgusting. Sweet dreams.

Since the FBI has clearly crossed into criminal behavior, it is difficult to know what has happened. So, yes, your theory is plausible. The "information" that Steele received about the "golden showers" is so ridiculous that one does wonder whether that information was itself a Russian disinformation attempt to influence our election - for Hillary. More likely, some Russian operatives who didn't care who won our election saw the opportunity to earn easy money and made up the story as filler for their "secret" file. Undoubtedly the Russians who were involved were well compensated for their "secret information."
