I don't think either bullpen had much tonight, as they were spent from last night. I don't blame the ump for the Kimbrel adventure tonight. He was not locating like he usually does, and that homer he gave up, he really hung that breaking ball.

Eovaldi last night, what else can be said? Still hitting 101 on the gun at the end, too.

Bricap said...: I get why it happens. It's about a starter not facing a lineup for the third time in a game. I have a hard time believing this should be standard, but that's the thinking. After the Dodgers tagged Rodriguez in his third time through the lineup, did that reinforce that line of thinking in Roberts' mind as Hill started through the lineup for the third time? I don't think Cora wanted to pull Rodriguez, given the marathon last night. I doubt Roberts wanted to take Hill out, either, but I'm thinking that scared him into doing it.; 10/27/18, 11:38 PM

Because pitchers have to be in the batting lineup National League managers have a tougher job. They need to do more switches. But this can get out of hand. Rich Hill was pitching great. The Dodgers were up 4-0 with one out in the seventh.

That clip is so sad. She is excited to meet her new husband, but he is not there. She is confused and finally decides to take a buggy to the mans farm.

There she finds the reason he wasn't at the station. A damned Fonda!

I always feel sad watching her trail off at the end, and that horseman whipping that poor horse who wants only to remain in the city. It knows what lies ahead, and want nothing to do with it.
