Julie Swetnick "said she witnessed Judge Kavanaugh... lining up outside a bedroom where 'numerous boys' were 'waiting for their "turn" with a girl inside the room.'"

"Ms. Swetnick said she was raped at one of the parties, and she believed she had been drugged. None of Ms. Swetnick’s claims could be independently corroborated by The New York Times, and her lawyer, Michael Avenatti, declined to make her available for an interview.... Unlike two other women who have accused Judge Kavanaugh of sexual misconduct, one who went to college with him and another who went to a sister high school, Ms. Swetnick offered no explanation in her statement of how she came to attend the same parties, nor did she identify other people who could verify her account.... In her statement, Ms. Swetnick said that she met Judge Kavanaugh and Mr. Judge in 1980 or 1981 when she was introduced to them at a house party in the Washington are... She said she attended at least 10 house parties in the Washington area from 1981 to 1983 where the two were present. She said the parties were common, taking place almost every weekend during the school year. She said she observed Judge Kavanaugh drinking 'excessively' at many of the parties and engaging in 'abusive and physically aggressive behavior toward girls, including pressing girls against him without their consent, "grinding" against girls, and attempting to remove or shift girls’ clothing to expose private body parts. I also witnessed Brett Kavanaugh behave as a "mean drunk" on many occasions at these parties.'"

The NYT reports today.

If the allegations are true, there must be many, many other witnesses. Where have they been all these weeks? And why would she go to "at least 10 house parties" if they were as she described?

The NYT suggests there's a gap in the account because Swetnick doesn't say how she got to go to the same parties as Kavanaugh. We're told Swetnick grew up in Montgomery County, Md., and graduated from Gaithersburg High School — a public school — in 1980 and attended the University of Maryland. That puts her in a less elite crowd. She's also 2 years older than Kavanaugh and graduated from high school 3 years before he did, so it makes it a little hard to picture them at the same parties. Did older, state-college women go to parties with prep school boys years younger than them? If they did and the boys raped them, repeatedly and systematically, how could the boys get away with it, and why are there not many more women coming forward with the same allegations? And why are we getting this through Michael Avenatti?

Not quite, our lot were all peasants, going back a couple of generations. Peasants, fishermen, sailors, conscript soldiers.

I am however rather more than half-Basque (and most of the rest Spanish mutt), and there is an ancient Spanish medieval tradition that grants all Basques, however poor, however humble their occupations, regardless of not being first-born, the status of hidalguia, that is, qualified for any post or freedom due to the class of the gentry, along with exemption from taxation, forced labor and conscription, as befitted gentlemen.

Granted, that is a truly ancient thing that became moot in the 19th century.

But there are quite a lot of Basques still about, in Spain and France, and a rather vast number of descendants in all the ex-colonies. So not the last, even of that.

This nonplussed Ann par excellence.
Ann wonders why the flack lawyer is some fellow named Avenatti. Ann, this obscure character represents a porn star who had a sex thing with the president that forced him to pay her hush money, a transaction that drew the attention of federal police and has resulted in multiple criminal guilty pleas by a guy who said he was Trump's lawyer and who's now cooperating with Mueller. All this may well be new to you and some of your readers. I would have thought though you might have understood why a sex crime victim would hire this particular lawyer.

Did older college age girls go to beach parties with rich younger kids -- at their cool cottages, in the summer, and wear skimpy clothjing, and do their make-up, and drink too much? Yes, Ann, that happens, and it may happen more often with, as you say, second tier girls, for a couple reasons : the really cool girls their own age think these frat boys and their antics are disgusting, and avoid them. And :it's precisely the older less status girl who sees her way into an upper tier by hanging with a rich preppie like Brat and his rich but stupid and drunk pals like Judge and so on.
And definitely, girls like that would sleep with someone if she wanted to. But here's the thing-- she didn't want to. None of those girls went there, slutty as they may have looked, and expected or could be said to agree in advance to a gang bang at the end of the evening. Ann, a gentleman does not take advantage of an intoxicated female, nor does he allow his friends or associates to do so, and could certainly resort to violence if he witnessed such an act done by a stranger. Even small boys are capable of understanding that, and the teenage preppie set that brett was in, and has not repudiated -- look at his flushed cheeks -- clearly breached limits that even drunken girls are entitled to. Otherwise you're running with the wrong crowd.
Why aren't there lots of witnesses? Now you're pulling my leg. Ever hear of the idea that lots of people have shameful secrets that they never tell anyone, not their parents, not the police. You can read up on that subject, of central importance to any inquiry of this sort.
Anyway, these questions you ask expose the weakness of your stance of cruel neutrality. A neutral observer at her best has a sure grasp of what's afoot, and you're confused. Cruelty, hmm. Rules of the tribe

As Ann Coulter points out, the hysteria over "overturning Roe" is....hysteria. I've read a lot of this sort of thing over the last 2? weeks, and it's a fool's errand to try to pin this down other than K's principal vulnerability was that he had an "R" by his name, and that the Dems and MSM would close ranks. That's all. Full stop. Any last minute allegation, ANY, and these are some doozers, would be met with we must delay so the accuser may be heard. And now this one. And now that one. Althouse may express that she is uncomfortable with him being too perfect (Put down the copy of Elmer Gantry, eject the DVD. Their fiction!), but all of these allegations are absurd on their face. And more so in context.

For all the claims that this nomination is different because lifetime appointment, very powerful, etc., that's just cover that I can not remember being offered before for why 30+ year old newly discovered claims should be honored. Trust me, if the situation calls for a new improved rationale next time, it will be found.

Saying Trump should nominate someone squeaky clean next time is naĂŻve, if not in fact sad. K was as squeaky clean as they come, right up to the moment the Dems failed to lay a glove on him during hearings and released the lies from over 30 years ago.

Well, and a dick between his legs. We will soon see whether it has become impossible for Republicans to confirm a male. If so, then I guess we'll get to see how the Democrats act when they get their hands on a woman. I'm guessing Democrats will feel pretty comfortable taking turns abusing a Republican woman.

Its not going to, because its not insanity.
You have tribe A and tribe B (and C, D, E ...)

Tribe A does not feel they owe anything to tribe B, and behaves accordingly.
Soon enough tribe B understands the situation and reciprocates. Tribe A then escalates. Perfectly logical.
Between one thing and another the process of conflict will change a lot of things.

What comes out of this ultimately is unpredictable, other than that it will be very different from the original state.

We are taking an accusation that a high schooler (starting at 14 years old) had an organized ring of drugging and gang raping women about every weekend over a three year period 35+ years ago? And no one reported or heard a thing? And then it magically stopped? And United States Senators are taking this seriously?

I fear the future of our nation. As Edmund Burke said, "The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing." Sometimes, good people hide behind "cruel neutrality" to enable evil to triumph.

First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a socialist.

Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a trade unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

We would be well advised to remember that caution.

Gaithersburg is 15 miles from Bethesda. And back in the early 80s, Gaithersburg was the sticks. It seems implausible that public school kids from Gaithersburg would be running in the same social circles as private school rich kids from Bethesda. That alone makes me skeptical.

Did older, state-college women go to parties with prep school boys years younger than them?
No, as in absolutely not. It is, however, a prep boy fantasy.

If they did and the boys raped them, repeatedly and systematically, how could the boys get away with it,

They couldn't.

and why are there not many more women coming forward with the same allegations?
Because they're not only absolutely false but completely absurd.

And why are we getting this through Michael Avenatti?
Because he's now revealed himself to the public as a complete idiot. WE only have to wonder why he decided to reveal it in this manner.

Since I live in Montgomery County (off and on since 1972), Swetnick's story immediately rang false to me. Gaithersburg is in the northern part of the county, many miles away from Georgetown Prep. Even in the 80's it was a thoroughly mediocre school, with a low-to-middle class student demographic. There is no way that students from GP would be hanging with those from Gaithersburg. The public schools in/near Prep in Bethesda, such as BCC and Whitman, have a demographic which is almost identical to Prep's, and thus would be much more likely to be social acquaintances. But Gaithersburg? No. Did not happen.

From Wikipedia:
Occam's razor (or Ockham's razor) is a principle from philosophy. Suppose there exist two explanations for an occurrence. In this case the simpler one is usually better. Another way of saying it is that the more assumptions you have to make, the more unlikely an explanation. Occam's razor applies especially in the philosophy of science, but also more generally.

So..pick your side. Words v. Words. Who lived the last decades in a way which is consistent with the philosophy?

Democrats are indeed desperate, but it's not because they have their backs against the wall, but because total victory is slipping from their grasp.
After all, they are the ones who invented micro-aggressions, because there weren't enough real problems to go around. They're the ones who claim asking people where they are from is hurtful. The next step would have involved banning all their opponents from asking any personal questions.
So I'll take their claims of harm suffered with a fistful of salt.
It'll be at least a small victory if they manage to exact some concession toward their made-up rules through this investigation.
Senate Republicans are obviously very eager to accommodate any rule changes that Democrats demand. If the accuser wants to testify wearing a burqa, a burqa we shall get. If she wants to give a singing testimony, but Carnegie Hall is busy, then they'll requisition Lincoln Hall.
But the past two years have shown that not everyone is on board with the program and Democrats' feelings are hurt.

Isn't it enough that Republicans are so busy raping the country? Why do they need to put a potential rapist in the highest court in the land? Can't we have some standards? Someone who didn't grow up with the kind of privilege and repression that made him think drugged gang rapes were how to get what you want?

We need someone compassionate enough to understand how the law impacts the least privileged. Not the most. Kavanaugh is just a shill for the same easy monied interests that are driving this country apart. We don't need that. No more plunderers or rapists or privileged snot-noses in our governments or on our courts.

Deep-six the nomination. Put up a decent, compassionate, understanding human being for the position, for once. Someone who understands that the laws are meant to serve the people, and not just the other way around.

I am beginning to suspect that Buwaya is correct- this is not insanity, it is cold-blooded, ruthless pragmatism on the part of the Democrats. I would hope that people like Jeff Flake, Susan Collins, Bob Corker, Ben Sasse, and Lisa Murkowski understand the stakes here well enough to go ahead and confirm Kavanaugh, but I don't know for certain. Flake did make a statement in the Senate this morning that winning at all costs is extremely dangerous, and I can't imagine any scenario where he would be speaking to his Republican colleagues in this case- it had to be directed to the Democrats, so I am hopeful that the Republicans gird themselves and do the the right thing here.

I will say this- I am disappointed that not a single Democrat in the Senate has had the courage to stand up and call this for what it is- unmitigated insanity and character assassination, all done with literally zero corroboration.

And a last warning about the Republicans- if they fail to stand united on this one narrow issue, they will all hang politically. If the Democrats tactics are allowed to succeed here, it will be used over and over, and you will see it repeated with the next nominee if Kavanaugh is defeated, and it will definitely get used in all of the important races this November.

Yancey Ward said...

Seriously, how deranged do you have to be to go to court to attempt to get an injunction to stop the Senate from holding a vote? The Constitution explicitly says the Senate makes its own rules for how it operates. And yet, this probably isn't madness, because I think it a better than even chance that a judge will be found to issue the injunction, and I think it probable that the 9th Circuit and the D.C. circuit would uphold it- the madness is spreading, or the entire operation is cunning genius.

Gang Bangs don't happen at frat parties where girl friends, women's auxiliary , other invited sorority girls attend and in some case members' sisters. The wildest frat parties are like Animal House, no real debauchery and yes dirt bike competition from the front porch up the main staircase. That's how I learn how to patch drywall.

There were gang bangs in the house organised by a 26 year old legacy member Viet Nam Vet. In all 4 trains the 2 women were sober and wanted to participate, I asked them before leaving the house. One women was a 30 year old VA Hospital nurse and the other was a 20 year old daughter of a townie Baptist minister. Never saw the nurse again, but met the townie at a wedding reception years later with her husband and three kids.

I also witnessed some black high school kids what I thought was a rape of a black teenage girl between my apartment complex buildings. I call 911. Turned out she was pulling a train. Cop told me they were all minors and no arrest, it happens all the time.

Yes some women are as depraved as some men.

Of course, the semi-monthly gang rapes are no doubt the reason he went after Ms. Ford in the "summer" of "1982 or so". Those gang rapes are addictive!

To bad he had to settle with waving his dick in drunk girls face, when he went to Yale. But then Yale is pretty strict about Gang rape.

No doubt there was sex — teenaged boys and teenaged girls were doing that back in the early sixties when I was in high school.

When my oldest son was in college (not long after the millennium) he was in a four room suite with a wealthy young man. Girls came all the time and spent nights in his room, perhaps (probably?) hoping to land a rich husband. No one was much interested in the other guys in the suite.

A Rhode Island man who accused Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh of sexually assaulting his friend apologized on Wednesday and said he “made a mistake.”

The man called Rhode Island Democratic Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse’s office and claimed that Kavanaugh and Mark Judge, a high school friend of Kavanaugh, drunkenly sexually assaulted one of his friends, according to interview transcripts released by the Senate Judiciary Committee.

A committee investigator asked Kavanaugh about the allegation during an interview on Tuesday, which he denied.

The man’s name was redacted in the transcripts released to the public but the investigator quoted verbatim several outlandish anti-Trump tweets from the man’s Twitter account, allowing reporters to identify him on Twitter as “Jeffrey Catalan.”

“Dear Pentagon, please save my country from the parasite that occupies the White House,” Catalan wrote in one tweet. “Our [sic] you waiting until Russians parachute in like in Red Dawn? Please help!”

After Catalan started getting attention on Twitter, he publicly stated that he had recanted the accusation.

Elsewhere, Crack says that Democrats lost Obama's SC pick. Yeah, if I were a Democrat, I would be bothered by that. But, is it OK to use "dirty" tricks?

It seems to me there are whole classes of good potential supreme court judges that will be excluded by "guilty until proven innocent, if it advances my agenda." What person is going to put themselves through that? Well, women, and very power hungry men. It will exclude males who have a genuine interest in law (after reading Carpenter vs. the US, I think Gorsuch may be one such).

Unfortunately with Ford, we will never know the truth, no matter how she sounds tomorrow (outside some last minute credible corroboration), due to the problem with memory.

The SC will outlast everyone alive today. You want to poison future SC picks so Democrats can get midterm votes, by potentially stalling a SC judge for a couple of years, until they hopefully regain the presidency?

I say "Not worth it."

Also, I wonder where Crack draws the line. The last two accusers are, in my opinion, not credible. Is it now OK to lie to take down an SC nominee? And if lying has no consequences, there will be more of it, and real accusations of this kind will be taken with less seriousness.

I don't see how this approach is OK or good.

Here's the title of Crack's new "won't-make-the-charts-anywhere-but-what-the fuck: that's Whitey's fault, ain't it, Beyoncé?"

"It's all about MEEEEE, it's ALLLL about MEEEE!!"

Guy posts here as an political omnisicent, a world-class sociologist, someone who blames Whitey for all that's gone wrong in his life, and then tell us----(para) "I can't remember how many parties I attended that ended in gunfire"---AS IF it was whites there doing the shooting.

AS IF rich-white-kid-parties-ending-in-shootings are a common occurrence.

Snort.

"Crack says that Democrats lost Obama's SC pick. Yeah, if I were a Democrat, I would be bothered by that. But, is it OK to use "dirty" tricks?"

First, I'm not bothered, if you're thinking so - I'm not a Democrat. And "Dirty Tricks" in politics are known as a Republican specialty, so - clearly - yes.

"It seems to me there are whole classes of good potential supreme court judges that will be excluded by "guilty until proven innocent, if it advances my agenda." What person is going to put themselves through that? Well, women, and very power hungry men. It will exclude males who have a genuine interest in law (after reading Carpenter vs. the US, I think Gorsuch may be one such)."

I picture white men on a train in the 1800s, shooting Indians, and thinking they "have a genuine interest in law" when I consider someone as distant as Kavanaugh is, from my experience, being in robes. Just as Trump is "the wrong man to do the right thing" those "women and power hungry men" might be actually what the nation needs - which might be why they're so desperate to get in.

"Unfortunately with Ford, we will never know the truth, no matter how she sounds tomorrow (outside some last minute credible corroboration), due to the problem with memory."

Maybe. But I know enough about the media to know y'all are judging the equivalent of still photos as though they're moving pictures. This crowd always has a hard time seeing other human beings in full.

"The SC will outlast everyone alive today. You want to poison future SC picks so Democrats can get midterm votes, by potentially stalling a SC judge for a couple of years, until they hopefully regain the presidency?"

Sure, why not?

"I say "Not worth it.""

I say "Your life isn't the one on the line."

"Also, I wonder where Crack draws the line."

I like this: I tell you the Democrat line and it becomes what? MINE. ME. The Republican since 2004. See, that's how you guys get fucked up - you can't get me, or reality, straight in your heads. I'm the now-former Republican who's been saying where you fuck up. All the rest think they're doing Republicans (and the country) a favor by LYING. Everything is right on their side and everything is wrong on the Left. It's bullshit. You're both fucked-up in the same ways about different things.

"The last two accusers are, in my opinion, not credible."

All you know is what you've read. It's stupid to judge it. Wait for reality like a smart person - not a reporter's words.

"Is it now OK to lie to take down an SC nominee?"

Now OK? It was ALWAYS OK. It's as OK as saying we win the World Series every year. I told you it's all lies.

"And if lying has no consequences, there will be more of it, and real accusations of this kind will be taken with less seriousness."

You're making me laugh because you think this just started. Read more history: we didn't win WWII either - Stalin did. We just reaped most of the rewards. And the Iranians have good reasons to be pissed at us - as do the Palestinians. See? Lies. We live in them, and whites are happy that way, because - as long as they last - the Michael Ks and Gahries and Drago's get to say they're great and everyone else is shit to be abused. Take them away, and they're Just Horrible People. And everyone learns from them.

"I don't see how this approach is OK or good."

Doctors, heal thyself.

Crack, you may have some important things to say on race, and, if so, I would like to hear them because Republicans need to persuade more blacks that their policies are better than the Democrats' policies. But honestly, all I hear from you is, "whites = bad." Maybe it's me. Maybe I am just stupid. But, if persuading folks is your goal, you have to take your audience as you find them. And if "whites = bad" is not the message you are trying to convey but it is what your audience is hearing, then you need to find a different way of saying whatever it is you are trying to say.

Also, whatever points you are trying to make on race frequently get further muddled in all of the discussion of New Age/cults/homeopathy that you seem to bring into nearly every conversation, no matter the topic. Raising those things no matter the topic just erodes your credibility. Please note, I am not defending those things, just saying they don't pertain to THAT many of Ann's posts.

Finally, talking about how super smart you are and ritually ending your posts with the ad hominem "Just horrible people" is not persuasive and further erodes your credibility. I don't write any of this in snark. I am just trying to get from you a better explanation of what may be important points on race matters.

Every day I speak on getting people out of cults, stopping con artists, and ways to prevent people from being abused - with an interest in doing so without actually taking anybody's freedom away.

Some days, one or two people will pipe up and say they agree with me, but, most days, I face a barrage of unfeeling assholes, spouting nonsense I've heard a billion times, about why we MUST let the abuses go on.

That, to me, exemplifies their attitudes towards abuse in this country. I don't think rapes bother them because, if they did, they would be talking about them and not me. They have no interest in these subjects. They say so daily. Abuse is my "obsession" - not a real issue to be dealt with. A real issue to be dealt with is if rich white men get high ranking jobs to take people's rights away and make them happy to talk shit. That's their interest. You know the old saying:

Character is what you do when you think no one is looking.

White men - especially - thought no one will ever see any of this. They don't think reparations are coming either. And don't forget Rap's not music. And women and blacks would never get the vote. Slavery would never end, too. Sigh. Reality.

People this stubborn are to bound to be profoundly disappointed by it.

HA! I'm here. These guys aren't going out amongst blacks and talking this shit. They stay amongst their own kind and pat each other on the back. If you don't take the more vocal Klan members here into consideration, when judging my comments, then I can't help you. I mean, if all you see is me as bad - and not their heckling - then I don't want you on "my side" anyway.

""If "whites = bad" is not the message you are trying to convey but it is what your audience is hearing, then you need to find a different way of saying whatever it is you are trying to say."

No - I want some white people here to hear "Whites Bad" and I want it to mean THEM AND WHITES LIKE THEM. Freeman Hunt is always my example of someone here who disagrees with me sometimes and I don't lay into her. Why? BECAUSE SHE TREATS ME LIKE A HUMAN BEING. For some reason, that's hard for others here. I can't imagine why.

"Whatever points you are trying to make on race frequently get further muddled in all of the discussion of New Age/cults/homeopathy that you seem to bring into nearly every conversation, no matter the topic."

First, I got no "black message" that you're receiving. Like some whites, here (see the jackass who keeps calling me a "Homeless Jesse Jackson") my being black seems to have affected your mind and made you decide to stereotype me as a black activist. I am not - I am a black person. My interest is in NewAge cultism. I am an activist about that. I am not muddying the two - you are.

I hate being blamed for other's mistakes.

"Raising those things no matter the topic just erodes your credibility."

I am The Crack Emcee. Nothing hurts my credibility. I have no credibility.

"Finally, talking about how super smart you are and ritually ending your posts with the ad hominem "Just horrible people" is not persuasive and further erodes your credibility."

I said, compared to the idiots, I feel smart. How that's bad, you must explain. And just horrible people should be called what, exactly?

"I don't write any of this in snark. I am just trying to get from you a better explanation of what may be important points on race matters."

No, you stereotyped me, and then held me to that standard. I hope straightening you out - without insulting you - will make you refrain from doing so in the future. Don't be like Michael K, Gahrie, and Drago, etc. Be a man.

becauseIdbefired said...

Crack, I did not say nor imply you were a Democrat. I was simply pointing out I've had the same thought that Democrats have justification to be angry over their "stolen" SC pick ("stolen" because I don't know enough of the ins and outs, the Biden rule, and all the games to make sense of whether it was fair or not).

My question for you, since I'm trying to understand your position, where is the bottom? It seems presumption of innocence is OK to dispense with. Is stating things that aren't true under oath OK? That's illegal. If illegal actions are OK, which are, and which aren't? The sense I get from you is the bottom is "what you can get away with."

Maybe this is the way things have always been, if you look hard enough. But, isn't it better to elevate so the right people get in (right means those who will look after the people's interests, like Gorsuch seems to do)?

> You're both fucked-up in the same ways about different things.

You seem to not like I might assume you are Democrat. Why is it wrong for me, but not wrong for you to assume? Again, just curious.

I for one expect the Dems to keep trying this crap on the next nominee by Trump, especially if she's a woman.

"I was one of 12 boys who ran a train on the nominee at a party in high school. I didn't know any of the other boys, and I can't recall anything about the party other than her lying there yelling at me to stop whiskeydicking around and get it in her. Then she handed me her red Solo cup of jungle juice, with ice, and i took one sip. After that everything went black. I don't know how I got home and I remain traumatized by her objectification of me and my 11 unknown co-assailants to this day."

"My question for you, since I'm trying to understand your position, where is the bottom?"

I use politics for entertainment and art. I've been watching this same drama since 1979, when I joined the Navy and an officer taught me how to read a newspaper, and how it related to my life. In all that time, I have seen NO BOTTOM to what people will do to win in this country, and - until attacked - they have no clue we're a young nation, trying to get on our feet, and not the old hands who know everything, they imagine. Worst of all, we're still a nation of con artists, who will slit their countrymen's throats for a buck. That's not a promising start for any country.

"The sense I get from you is the bottom is "what you can get away with.""

Here's an article about DSHEA - a law put together by Mitt Romney and Orrin Hatch and those other cultists of integrity known as The Mormons. As you can see, it essentially means "what you can get away with."" I want it stopped. I've mentioned it. The people here, not so much. I'll live. They won't.

"Maybe this is the way things have always been, if you look hard enough. But, isn't it better to elevate so the right people get in (right means those who will look after the people's interests, like Gorsuch seems to do)?"

First, the people's interests have to be determined and agreed upon. Is a permanently pissed black underclass in our interest? Seems to be, according to this crowd. I live in a nation that had to be almost FORCED to give Dr. King a day of honor. What should I expect as a citizen if that's how they treat him? Hell, I don't even screw around like he did and these fools treat me like a leper. I don't think a man like Kavanaugh is going to help with that, but I could be wrong.

"You seem to not like I might assume you are Democrat."

I get regarded as a Democrat a lot, here, and a hardcore Republican offline - the dilemma of the black conservative: There's no safe space and no way to make anyone happy. I can't be with my people, according to the Right, and I can't talk to anyone else, according to the Left. So blacks are the only group I can be with. Which is fine with me, if that's it, because we cool. I am a race man.

"Why is it wrong for me, but not wrong for you to assume? Again, just curious."

No - you assumed ideas, I clearly labeled as someone else's, were my own. The Democrats are pissed about Obama. I didn't vote for him - twice. No one working with Oprah gets my vote. She said "The Secret" was science back in the '90s and politicians in both parties are trying to blame Trump for bringing unreason to America? Put-Leaze. I'm not the one.

I live in a world of lies. But I know that because I've followed our story for a long, long time - I was outside Iran, trying to save our hostages, when it started for me - and I've stayed focused on what's important. Fuck the drama. The story's no good if you can't stay on-point while the media hypes distracting bullshit like this. Cults are waaay more important. Nobody's checking their power at all.

I mean, what do you think you're fighting, right now?
