The Trump tape is out with him discussing the payment with Cohen.

My two immediate thoughts are.

1) This isn't ok when James O'Keefe does it, only when Democrat mouthpieces do it.

2) Just like a lot of what James O'Keefe comes up with, this is pretty disappointing.

I need to implement a fairly small Graph loosely representing a city with intersections as the vertices and the streets as edges.

I am leaning towards doing it in C++ because the other control systems are in that language. Python would be ok I suppose.

Anyone have any favorite implementations?

I want to be able to update/access edge weights fairly efficiently and run shortest path regularly so I guess I am talking myself into an adjacency matrix.

I know C and I don't really know C++ so I need to catch up on all of the extra stuff like Map and vector. And don't put include brackets in comments or blogger thinks you are making HTML tags.

Except this was Trump's bag man making the recording and authorizing its release.

So the next big scandal that will totally destroy Trump this time is occurring tonight.

By the way, anyone see the "Shazam" trailer? It looks surprisingly decent.

Yeah, I really enjoyed the TV show Chuck and I thought the actor looked perfect as a sort of "Greatest American Hero" Shazam.

My immediate thoughts are:

1. Democrats are going to miss attorney client privilege because most attorneys are democrats.

2. Democrats are going to get the sads when all their friends are indicted.

3. Obama spied on political opponents and Clinton was a rapist and the other Clinton has admittedly committed 30,000+ violations of obstruction of justice by deleting documents under subpoena and thousands of violations of the espionage act.

Nobody cares about paying off some porn stars.

I look forward to Perkins and Coie being raided and authorizing the release of tapes of Clinton committing actual crimes.

You retards forget nothing Trump did was actually illegal.

You are really going to be sad when we treat you like you treated us.

Keep pushing though.

You will get Trump this time for sure.

Achilles - history throws curves at us all the time, but I for one do not see any road to a Trump impeachment that does not involve Hillary being jailed before the impeachment vote. For the reasons you said.

Our stable genius' sexual escapades reminds us of the aphorism that one does not pay a pro for the sex, but one pays them (by check) to go away.

Now that Trump is our President, the ladies in question want a share of fame and fortune, but all they got was fortune. So sad.

Cowboy Up! Thank you President Trump

Christopher, I heard that catchphrase somewhere, but I forget where.

What does it mean?

@Achilles (9:33), is there a reason why you can’t just use a conventional geographic information like ESRI ArcGIS?

Gahrie said...

I'm betting Trump tells Cohen to pay her whatever it takes to make her go away, but doesn't admit to anything.

It's from the movie Stripes. It means someone is being overly dramatic and/or threatening.

Whereas Hillary was Bill's bagman. Do you tonk she will go to prison ? 50/50 I would say.

readering said...

I'll take those odds. $100?

Cohen sounds like Chuckles, if he really was a lawyer.

Ethics seem to be optional for lefty lawyers.

The corruption of our "elites" seems to be more and more obvious .

Gahrie - thanks.

maybe it is just me, but who was Francis on this thread?

Achilles pretends that: You retards forget nothing Trump did was actually illegal.
Right!
Did he, or did he Not, INTENTIONALLY run against Hillary; with the Actual Idea of Beating her?
This is THE HIGHEST CRIME THERE IS!!!
Republicans (and democratic socialists) are allowed to PRETEND to run against her: But NO ONE is Allowed to Beat her. That is NOT the way our democracy works

Georgia had their runoff for the Republican race for Governor tonight.

Current Lt. Gov., Casey Cagle started with a huge lead but was being pushed hard by his opponent, Brian Kemp and looked like a close race until, last week, Trump tweeted his endorsement for Kemp.

That was all it took. Final: Kemp 69.45% / Cagle 30.55%.

I’m already looking forward to the next big “get Trump” effort after this latest Cohen tape one. When will it be? The reason I ask is because all of these events/media efforts could plotted versus time and after a simple Fourier analysis, the frequency of the events could be determined.

Yancey Ward said...

The tape was funny. Unless a payment was actually made in cash, it is another nothinburger for the Democrats. As far as I know, no one, including Lanny Davis and Michael Cohen, is claiming the payment was ever made.

Yancey Ward said...

And I am granting the assertion that Trump wanted to make the payment in cash, something the tape doesn't actually prove.

Yancey Ward said...

The Left still doesn't get it after 2.5 years- the people who voted for Trump don't care who he slept with and who he cheated on. Trump supporters have long since conceded to the Left's argument that consensual sex doesn't matter- you don't get to play backsies here. The Right is done with double standards.

Wince said...

Hardly seems worth the ethical jeopardy Cohen and Davis put themselves in by doing this.

Presumably their public release of the tape indicates some level of prosecutorial disinterest or inaction.

Yancey Ward said...

I found interesting that Cohen chose to record this conversation. I strongly suspect this tape the most damaging of the 12 to Trump, and I have listened to it 5 times, and there is basically nothing here that almost everyone didn't already basically know after McDougal told her story publicly- the only new detail is that the Trump considered buying the rights from Pecker and his company, but if never did, that is the end of the story as far as I am concerned.

Wince said...

Beside contributory breach of loyalty and confidentiality, isn’t Davis in a classic conflict of interest situation where the Clinton’s long-term lawyer is advising Cohen to do what is in Hillary Clinton’s best interest, not Cohen’s.

Yancey Ward said...

I just listened to it again, and I hear "don't pay in cash". Also, at the point CNN cuts the audio off, you can hear Trump say a word that sounds like "che...." right after Cohen is saying "No, no, no, no..." and then it sounds like something was recorded over the rest, but is cut off, too. Here is a youtube link to the CNN program portion. I have compared it directly to one on the CNN website, and there are no alterations in the youtube link. If I have done this correctly, it should pick and play at the right point in the conversation- you tell me what it sounds like Trump is saying.

Yancey Ward said...

I have listened to it over and over the last couple of minutes- Trump is clearly saying "don't pay with cash" to my ear. Am I just hearing things?

Yancey Ward said...

Definitely "Don't pay with cash", and Guiliani did say that Trump claimed to also say pay by check, but CNN cuts the audio, or tried to, before Trump said anything after "cash", but there is part of one word Trump says that starts with "che..". Curious.

I suppose the fact yet another government organization is abusing its power to obtain information to smear a political opponent will be lost here, too.

rehajm said...

Certainly the fact a government organization has a political opponent has been lost.

Michael Cohen, Sacha Baron, Roger, Richard ... Can we just outlaw people named “Cohen”?

Rick said...

Unless a payment was actually made in cash,

Cash payments are not illegal. You can argue they promote tax evasion but that's an act committed by the receiver not the payer.
