Trump does an excellent job of dramatizing these stories — parents whose daughters were murdered by M-13, a soldier who saved a fellow soldier, the parents of Otto Warmbier, a North Korean man who suffered terribly before escaping.

Missed it earlier, just finished watching it on CNN, since they were the only ones replaying it. Strong speech by the president. The sour faces of the Democrats as President Trump delivered his litany of economic good news were priceless. It must have really sucked to be them, especially as they contemplate Americans getting more money in their paychecks starting in February.

I saw about 5 minutes of the Kennedy "response". He yammered on about the economic strength being limited to the top 1% ignoring that we have the lowest unemployment rate since the tech bubble and the lowest black unemployment rate ever. It's bizarre Dems continue to cite their fantasies as reality, and amazing so many act as if their fantasies are reality. I guess that's how Dems have chosen to capitalize on their media dominance but it seems both short sighted and wasteful to me.

Or, only people inclined to like Trump bothered to watch. I never watch any of these annual propaganda events...I already know "the State of the Union is sound" will be asserted, no matter what the reality is.
