36-year-old Mazen Dayem told the NYT Post.
What's the crime? No crime needed. Dayem had a restraining order.
By "Tasmanian Devil," he doesn't mean the Australian marsupial:
He means the Warner Brothers cartoon character:
By the way, there is a such thing as the fear of wigs. The word for it is (oddly enough) "maliaphobia."

The irony is that McKimson's Taz is not dangerous at all.
As long as you are Bugs Bunny...
Nice pic of the devil, but I thought all y'all Madisonians called that rodent looking thing a badger?
Unless it was a no-contact order, that restraining order is BS.
Getting a restraining order against your wealthy father in law is bad financial planning.
I just got back from a trip to Tasmania. I learned many Devils suffer from a form of transmissible cancer. They transfer their cancer when they bite each other during the mating season. I did not know cancer could be a transmissible disease. Fascinating animals.
No tag for "brandishing"? It's the new garnering.
Taz wasn't scary at all. His wife was a horror.
There's another kind of "fear of wigs", called merkinphobia.
Look it up!
I have a deep fear of merkins, so I get where this guy's at.
Nice to see the word merkin in use. Tony Soprano uses it in an episode, correctly, in a throw away line that is very funny.
Speaking of, what's keeping Chuck under wraps?
Sounds like a girlie man.
Might have a racist meltdown if he met someone with a real afro?

Obama named his daughter Malia.
No love for Wombats?
I bet it was worth it
Malia is just the Greek word for hair.
There are an amazing number of flat ridiculous pseudo-adults in the world. It’s weird that I hardly noticed them until middle-age.
So Obama named his daughter after the Greek production of a 1960s rock musical?
Headline insinuated Trump and Kushner. Relieved.
Bill,
Taz wasn't scary at all. His wife was a horror.
I now pronounce you devil & devilish.
'Shitter,
That photographed Taz looks nothing like a badger.
Quite intrusive to snap a pic of it right as it's about to pinch a loaf.
Is malia the Greek word for hair? Looking at the unabridged Greek-English Lexicon of Liddell, Scott, and Jones, it appears that maliophobia with an O in the middle would be the fear of long hair or pigtails (singular malion, plural malia), while maliaphobia with an A in the middle would be the fear of glanders (a horse disease - malie in Greek, which in some dialects would be malia). Woodhouse's English-Greek Dictionary gives prósthetai komaí (=prosthetic, i.e. added-on, hair), so he seemed to think there was no single Greek word for wig.
What do you call the irrational fear of a comb-over? Half the country suffers from that.

"Oh, my god, that's a giant bush!"
When my Father was head coach of the Eastern Ill BB team in the 50s/early 60s he had a center who had an imaginary Tamanian Devil "pet" he called TAZ and kept the team in stitches with his "conversations" with it on long road-trips on the team bus. After a while "TAZ" became his knickname as well. I can well remember games where, when Ken (Dad's center) had the ball and other players who were open for the shot calling out TAZ!!
