“How do you reconcile your love for someone with the revelation that they have behaved badly?” Guthrie asks. Answer: You get in line with The Reckoning. Once the allegation is made, the diseased part of the corporate body must be lopped off like a gangrenous limb.
Here's the NYT article:
“On Monday night, we received a detailed complaint from a colleague about inappropriate sexual behavior in the workplace by Matt Lauer,” Andrew Lack, the NBC News president, said in the memo. He said the allegation against Mr. Lauer “represented, after serious review, a clear violation of our company’s standards. As a result, we’ve decided to terminate his employment. “While it is the first complaint about his behavior in the over 20 years he’s been at NBC News, we were also presented with reason to believe this may not have been an isolated incident.”Monday night to Wednesday morning — that's less than 2 days of investigation and opportunity for Lauer to defend himself. The interests of the entity, NBC, are put above any fairness to Lauer, because otherwise, what's the rush?
We're not even told what Lauer is accused of doing. NBC just wants us to know that it is clean. The problem is solved.
Meanwhile, President Trump isn't about containing the damage. He'd like to extend it:
Wow, Matt Lauer was just fired from NBC for “inappropriate sexual behavior in the workplace.” But when will the top executives at NBC & Comcast be fired for putting out so much Fake News. Check out Andy Lack’s past!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) November 29, 2017
ADDED: Maybe NBC was happy to get an opportunity to break its contract with Matt Lauer. He managed to get a 2-year deal — at 2018 — despite all the criticism he got for asking Hillary Clinton some tough questions NBC’s Commander-in-Chief Forum on September 8, 2016. Fortune reported on November 30th:
News of the deal follows a season of turmoil for the morning program, as well as for Lauer, who suffered heavy criticism after a disastrous interview with then-presidential candidate Donald Trump on NBC’s Commander-in-Chief Forum in September. (Lauer failed to push back on a series of false statements Trump made during that interview, which spurred a broader conversation about journalists’ responsibility to factcheck politicians.)So the framing after the election was Lauer wasn't tough enough on Trump, but I remember people saying he was too tough on Hillary. And at the time, I blogged:
Trump won the coin flip and got to choose to go second. Matt Lauer offered a ground rule, that neither candidate should use his/her time to attack the other. Clinton broke the rule in the end, and Lauer called attention to that, both to Hillary and at the beginning of Trump's turn. She was a fool to open the door, and Trump walked right through it.And I'd also said (before watching the whole thing):
Lauer was harder on Trump, interrupting and getting harsh with him. But Trump didn't let that faze him, and compared to Hillary, who was ploddingly severe and robotic, he was very good.
I think Lauer thinks he has what it takes to performatively demonstrate his confident, alpha-male TV show character. I've only watched clips from the forum, and I found it off-putting, because Lauer was so disrespectful — interrupting and bullying — and the difference in how he treated Trump and Hillary makes his lack of professional journalistic gravitas glare. The confident, alpha-male TV show character is just not the style these days, and anyway, what good was it, if it couldn't take Trump down?
Why did he decided to act that way instead of adopting a neutral demeanor and working through serious, substantive questions that would expose Trump's limitations? Maybe:
1. Lauer doesn't have the wit and heft to play the role of serious journalist on TV.
2. Lauer genuinely believed he could win a round of that old TV game show "Quien Es Mas Macho?"

So much winning!
Not Matt Lauer!!??
This is taking things too far!!
Not really.
I don't think I've ever watched the "Today Show".
Is it important?

Morning or Mourning? Is that a typo or a play on words? Funny either way.
At least Billy Bush is seeing someone else being fired now.
But David Letterman remains the man with the best timing on earth. I think they actually just did a tribute to him the other night!!
The program is unwatchable. Fire them all, turn out the lights and lock the door.
What a world, what a world!
It seems like being a male feminist doesn't even protect you.
Not to go all Ed Driscoll on you, and explain my jokes, but the "What a world" quote continues "Who would have thought that a young girl like you could destroy my beautiful self!"

Occam's razor says she meant "mourning," because all that means is she left out the "u". If she meant "morning," she made several mistakes.
The allegation is sexual assault at the Rio Olympics. That's a crime with serious consequences, if true.
Wouldn't call that "inappropriate sexual behavior"...
The NY Times reportage will be very interesting reading.
An acquaintance went on a date with him when he was deal but before he was kind of a big deal. Said he was a pig. Weinsteiney.
Matt Lauer and Tiki Barber were both reported to have affairs with advance women at one of the prior Olympics-- Vancouver? . Tiki was fired and Matt was not. So poor sexual behavior is not a new thing for Matt Lauer. Perhaps he finally found a woman unwilling to go along with it for her career.
“The NY Times reportage will be very interesting reading.”
I’m still waiting for their detailed reportage on Glenn Thrush.
Leave the mourning to the morning. Yeah, pain can be killed

"We're not even told what Lauer is accused of doing."
A custodian wearing nitrile gloves was seen wheeling a large potted plant out of the building on a hand truck yesterday. Coincidence?
"Monday night to Wednesday morning — that's less than 2 days of investigation and opportunity to Lauer to defend himself. The interests of the entity, NBC, are put above any fairness to Lauer, because otherwise, what's the rush?"
Althouse, this is what would happen in any company in America. And I'm guessing that NBC knew all along, and only took action when the complaint was filed. So it's not two....or 2....days of investigation. It's two days of deliberation. And likely contract review. The rush is to get ahead of the news and be the news. They didn't want to look like they fired him because of pressure.
BTW, it's been long rumored that Guthrie and her dear, dear friend were having an affair.
It’s almost like politicians and their media spokespersons are suddenly learning there are consequences to their actions....
Caesar's wife will read all news in the future! But seriously, keep going. This s hit has to stop. Maybe qualified people will start getting these jobs, including men.

"The move by NBC represents one of the few examples of a company taking pre-emptive action over sexual harassment complaints before any allegations had become public."

I thought that was the Bush daughter on the left.
Matt Lauer was slightly tough on Hillary during the campaign. A big no-no in the corrupt leftwing press.
I wonder if that has anything to do with this?
Dawning of "see something, say something" for sexual harassment, and worse.
It all just highlights how hard it is to get rid of people on Capital Hill.
Is there anyone on earth who doesn't think DC is a cesspool like the entertainment industry is? Except, of course, with ugly people.
We need new blood in the media. If you're gonna make an omelette, Matt!
“Meanwhile, President Trump isn't about containing the damage.“
Fake news isn’t just made up stories. It’s just as much the stories they know about but don’t want to investigate.
Each makes “the news” we’re fed a highly-edited, highly-distorted version of the world around us.
Due Process is for Criminals, not employees, I guess. But given what he's accused of in Rio, maybe Lauer was both.
And to echo what Chris said up top, maybe it's time to re-read Hawthorne.
"tim in vermont said...

Maybe, but I don't think we are there yet. And assholes like Lauer and Rose are out there shitting there pants wondering when the hammer will fall. I mean Lauer is not brain surgeon, but he had to know this could be coming. I'm sure the waiting was brutal, and am glad it was.
Why did he decided to act that way instead of adopting a neutral demeanor and working through serious, substantive questions that would expose Trump's limitations?
I recall this style was a Today show staple beginning with Katie Couric. Lob an obtuse softball and when the subject begins to answer, interrupt and try to put words in their mouth. A disturbing format at 7AM.
Break out the popcorn. It will be fun when some woman execs get fingered for harrassing subordinates and following that the gay execs will be targeted for their workplace sins.
Also I don't watch Today so am not aware of what he has been saying with respect to Harvey and Charlie, for instance. However, assuming he covered those stories, he must have concurrently known the arrows would be pointing to him in due time. Imagine the panic.... with no sympathy, of course.
The young bartender with the tattoos and the streaked hair from a bottle came in a few days ago. Her boss had been pressuring her to have sex with him for her to get more and better shifts. Now, she tells us that she has quit her job at that dive bar near downtown.
Commiseration is expressed; her drinks are paid for. Commiseration with drinks bought for you is a sign that people take your situation seriously. You don't get drinks bought for you just because the wife is being bitchy again. Sometimes, in that particular situation, some people are secretly siding with the wife. Not every guy in the bar is blameless. Imagine that. So: Commiseration, and commiseration with drinks bought for you, there is a difference.
Someone mentions that she should sue her boss for sexual harassment; she shakes her head. It is he-said/she-said, she says, and people probably won't sympathize with the girl with the tattoos and the streaked hair from a bottle. Besides, who has money for a lawyer? And what would she win, anyway?
She continues to say she can't make a big deal about this: other bars aren't going to hire a woman who made sexual-harassment claims about the boss of her last bar. Heads nod; more drinks are bought.
The youngish guy with the sleepy eyes says he knows people who can beat down this owner, no problem. A lot of guys in a bar might bluster and say this kind of thing; the sleepy-eyed guy actually does know people like that. He is a business man whose real job does not match the occupation he puts on his tax forms.
She declines, but in a way that appears like she really does take into serious consideration the idea of her boss being beaten. You can practically see the little devil on her shoulder, whispering to her. There is probably the corresponding little angel on her other shoulder, but you can't really see him: you just have to assume he's whispering to her, too.
The concept of Karma is tossed around a bit. But I don't think Lennon's Instant Karma is going to happen anytime soon. The boss might have a heart attack in a few years, but that probably won't be karma, just bad lifestyle choices. Unless you consider that to be karma for living a life of bad lifestyle choices that include using your power to try to pressure a young girl into having sex with you. Then: sure.

You never break the leftwing media 1st-10th commandment. Thou shall not ask tough questions of a democrat. Especially a Clinton.
By this s hit has to stop, I meant the sexual harassment, to be clear.
"...this is the first complaint in 20 years..."
Anyone else finding that hard to believe? If there have been no complaints in 20 years and the victim just came forward on Monday, either the victim had something actually recorded (audio and/or video), or NBC is just lying through its teeth. Especially since this apparently happened over a year ago.
Likely legal parsing: "This is the first [non-anonymous, on-the-record, somehow-documented, threatened-to-go-public] complaint in 20 years [as opposed to the persistent rumors and rumblings over a long period of time]."
Elizabeth Wagmeister on twitter:
At @Variety, @RaminSetoodeh & I had been working on a Matt Lauer story for months and NBC was aware. There are multiple women we've spoken to with far-ranging accusations against Lauer. The power of journalism has never been more evident with this cultural change.
it's hard out there for a pimp.

The woman who complained didn't know how to make a deal. One possible deal being leave me alone.

The Reckoning. That's good. Suitably ominous.
The failure down the line won't be women execs getting busted but men having no interest in women.

When women dress for each other, they're competing on ability to attract males.
The liberal media, a bunch of young dumb liberals, ignorant liberals as in lacking any historical perspective.
When I first started working, work place relationships were absolutely forbidden. That was a corporate policy we knew about. As much as the partners flirted with me, and as much as I know they might sleep around, I never thought my job was actually at stake because if one had actually tried to pressure me to sleep with him, I could have gone to another partner and complained because *he* was going against company policy.
But since then, relationships within companies have become much more acceptable. And I think the lines blur. If you are a piggish guy and you think all women want to sleep with you-- and many do because it will help their career- what lesson do you learn? What can the company do if they have no policy against consensual relationships and the men assume it's consensual and the woman assumes there was pressure but they don't report it?
But obviously, being a rock star or a congressman are still good places to hide out if you want to sexually harass.
1. It is the job of the press to be oppositional to any sitting government. A journalist who does not ask "tough" questions (i.e., substantive questions requiring substantive responses) of any politician is simply kissing ass.
(Mindless bashing, a la Trump-style name-calling and insults is not being tough on a politician. Pressing a politician on inconsistencies, inaccuracies, or contradictions between their statements and behavior, promises and policy, claims and reality, etc. is being tough. In other words, get the bastards to talk about the truth of what's happening; do not allow them to simply respond with glib rhetoric, unchallenged, un-fact-checked non-answers, evasions or lies.)
2. I've heard Lauer is an asshole, and he allegedly engineered the termination of Ann Curry.
3. Unless the complaint against Lauer came with audio and/or video/photographic evidence, I'm surprised NBC would fire him so premptorily, without at least an investigation and without providing Lauer the opportunity to defend himself. I know the presumption of innocence is not a requirement of private businesses, but such swift and total responses must trouble thoughtful people. Is our nation going through another witch hunt phase, where the mere whisper that someone has committed the transgression du jour brings about instant erasure?
No matter how much Clinton corruption creeps in the shadows, Terry McAwful will never be president. Yikes - just look at him. He crawled out of hell.
>How long before we are all forced to don the scarlet M?
I don't think we need to worry about that yet. I've somehow gotten through life without ever having a woman run away from me screaming.
It's the apparent asymmetry between the treatment of Republicans and Democrats that bothers me more, and that imbalance can only be addressed by firing more Democrats.
"...Everywhere there's lots of piggies, living piggy lives..."
Ann Curry is smiling.
You know how in some places sexual offenders aren't allowed to live within a certain distance of schools, etc., and are forced to live under highway underpasses and that sort of thing? Perhaps they'll have to create "Weinsteinvilles" for all of the new class of Untouchables to live in.
Now lets get that damn tax bill passed so I can make some more money, to hell with all these young dumb liberals.

News' Reader's Turnabout
In a startling turnabout, news reader Savannah Guthrie clearly enunciated the words "we have" in contradistinction to the contraction "we've" in the printed text.
The incident's occurrence during NBC's hypovehicularization on the "Today" show, which's been NBC's long running morning program, an American audiences' favorite, who've enjoyed its' mix of news 'n entertainment since NBC'd debue'd it in 1952, of Matt Lauer, who's show's tenure excelled that've Bryan Gumball who'd he'd seceded two decade's ago and surprize'd Guthrie.

"Everyone knew never go to the Olympics with Matt Lauer." (Cokie Roberts 2017)
LOL!
I'm with Trump: I want to know more about Andy Lack's past!
This is just payback for being mean to Hillary.
Especially Lack's time at Sony...
Ann Curry was terrible as co-host. So she may be smiling now but that doesn't make her retroactively good at her job.
I ran off to do some errands -- sometimes there is life that needs to be conducted outside of the bar -- and when I returned the girl with the tattoos and the streaked hair from a bottle who just quit her job was still there. She can hold her alcohol, but she now has had more alcohol than she could reasonably hold.
The unseemly part of bar life is now happening: most of the regulars have left, and a few young men are around her, commiserating. That is, they are commiserating with her in the hopes that being the commiserating guy will get her to drunkenly go home with them and fuck. Hyenas.
I usually keep a distance to people's dramas: you can't make everyone make a good decision. But I cannot let this happen. I slide between her and one of the guys and disrupt the path of the conversation. I ask her gently if it is time to go home.
The guys are now upset with me. Upset, and drunk. They make comments, I make comments back. Eventually one guy infers that we should talk outside. Well, not 'infers', exactly: he pretty much says he wants to talk to me outside.
I say "Sure" and now he begins to register doubt. I should not want to go outside with him. He thinks I might have misunderstood what he is saying, and clarifies: he thinks he should kick my ass. Again: I say "Sure".
Experience has taught me that a lot of guys who say they want to fight really don't want to fight. Unless they are absolutely sure they will win. A reasonable doubt stops them. Of course, some of guys who say they want to fight really do want to fight: it is fun for them. Some of them live for it. The key is being able to tell the two kinds apart. I believe the guy is in the first group, and I am right: he drops the subject of fighting, and just calls me an Asshole. Sure, fine.
The girl with the tattoos and the streaked hair from a bottle who just quit her job says she probably should get home. The problem is that she is out of money: after the regulars left she had to buy her own drinks. The guys who were trying to fuck her didn't even buy her a drink: there really are useless people in this world.
I tell her I'll pay for a taxi, and we wait outside and smoke a cigarette until the taxi comes.

Stayin' in the Senate is my game.
With early-morning eyes, I at first read the video title as Matt Lauer is being feminated from CBS News.
The only morning show I watch--and I'm watching it now--is Stuart Varney on FOX Business Network. Not only is the program largely substantive but Stuart is such a cheerful chap!
"Trump is correct that the consistent, dishonest reporting of national events...."
The media's dishonest reporting of national is largely in service to protecting the liars, poltroons, and criminals in government and the corporate aristocracy who rule us all, (and in covering up the U.S.'s complicity in terrible doings around the world). Traditionally, prominent figures in the media, (such as William F. Buckley as just one example), have worked for the CIA. Of course they're being paid to spread propaganda rather than journalism.
Trump's constant complaints about "fake news" are not because he wants truly honest reporting of the doings of the rich and powerful who rule us, (including him). It is simply a little version of the big lie. That is, by repeating over and over that the media provides nothing but "fake news," he erects a preemptive shield for himself. If anything is reported that might damage him in he eyes of his base, he can shrug it off, as he has already inculcated them to believe "it's all fake!"
(There is a lot of fake or deceptive news, to be sure; however, it's not all fake, though it's rarely comprehensive enough to be useful even when it's accurate. The point is, interested and discerning news readers must read different sources of news--national and international--and make their own best judgements as to what seems the most likely to be truthful, based on the consistency of information provided by the different sources.)
Who is the Robespierre for this terreur, anyway?
You have to admit it would be hilarious if it's Megyn Kelly.
Interesting how this compares with the network's treatment of Brian Williams. Granted they committed different sins but I guess the idea here is that a liar is redeemable whereas a sexual harasser gets the death penalty. Not that Lauer should be entitled to rehabilitate himself, even if it were possible to do for this kind of job, but then I didn't Brian Williams should have been given that chance either.
Who is the Robespierre for this terreur, anyway?
Maybe there is none. It's more like a domino effect. Or more like a witch hunt, a kind of spontaneous escalation based on hysteria.
If there have been no complaints in 20 years and the victim just came forward on Monday, either the victim had something actually recorded (audio and/or video), or NBC is just lying through its teeth.
Of course. This clip of a pants-less Lauer and gushing Guthrie ("You're making me lactate!")
looks awfully awkward now.
Savannah was shocked and sad to see Lauer fall as LBJ was when the front headshot blew away JFK
"You have to admit it would be hilarious if it's Megyn Kelly."
And a good way to continue the liberals' self-destruction.
Monday night to Wednesday morning? Not much time to investigate, and still less for Lauer to mount a defense. This smacks of being a move to deny Lauer whatever his contract called for him to be paid. Not that it’s unbelievable that Lauer is a horn dog, but did the allegations against him amount to more than he said-she said?
Matt Lauer, John Conyers, Al Franken, Joe Barton, Bill O’ Reilly, Roger Ailes, Eric Bolling, powerful men, icons of cable news and the House and Senate, falling one by one or even two by two. Numerous state senators and legislators falling all across the country due to sexual harassment charges. Women aren’t staying silent any longer, that should be a wake up call to men who harass or take liberties with women’s bodies without their permission. Misusing their power in this way won’t stand anymore.
Monsters don’t always look like monsters. He can even look like Matt Lauer, or Bill Clinton. The banality of the sexual harasser/assaulter.
A few more powerful men who sexually harass and abuse will fall, no doubt, it’s only a matter of time. I like Althouse’s term, The Reckoning. It’s happening.
Robert Cook: "1. It is the job of the press to be oppositional to any sitting government."

Anybody remember Blacklisting ? Here it comes again.
I suspect that many people remember blacklisting and its famous exemplars the "Hollywood 10". The problem is that most people, even Billy Crystal as the Oscars a few years back, remember it wrong. They want to blame it on McCarthy.
The Blacklist began in the summer of 47 when McCarthy had been a senator for all of 6 months.
The blacklist was instigated, caused, begun whatever, by THE MEDIA. Not by government. It was begun by Billy Wilkerson, the owner of the Hollywood Reporter, a movie trade magazine.
Not by McCarthy. Not even by HUAC. Not by government. By the very media that the Hollywood 10 worked in.
Wilkerson's son apologized about 6 years back, in the HR, for his father's and the magazine's role in the blacklist.
https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/blacklist-billy-wilkersons-son-apologizes-391977
So if we are going to remember, let's remember it right.
ARM will probably say that my pointing out these facts makes me a fascist (Fascist?) since it conflicts with the "correct" but factually untrue version.
Well, so be it.

Leftist women feel sorry for Matt Lauer.

They've known about Lauer for decades. But, as good leftists, they thought they could weather this storm....all the while yakking at the rest of us about how we should behave.
In case I was not clear, in virtually all of these cases, it is the media rushing to judgement and throwing these people over the side.
Not the government.
Government is pretty impotent here. Or at least inactive.
John Henry
And once again, we have women, like Inga, on the Today Show saying they "feel sorry for Matt".
That's why so many leftist/liberal male feminists knew they could get away with this behavior for so long.
Its all the lefty enablers.
I see that Inga is now carefully calibrating her posts to make sure she includes some of the zillions of lefty/dems who are part of this deluge.
Got to maintain at least some fictional credibility on this issue.
Sort of like LLR Chuck.
Trump thinks that by pointing his fat fingers at other sexual predators and tweeting gleefully, his followers will forget about his own predations... he’s right. I love how you keep trying to resurrect that which is now forever gone. It must be quite disturbing and disorienting to you...like you trying to think.
"More pie for me." What are the chances that this thought was present behind those grief ravaged faces as they discussed the termination of their beloved coworker?
William: "What are the chances that this thought was present behind those grief ravaged faces as they discussed the termination of their beloved coworker?"
Throughout Hollywood, Washington DC, New York, etc there are rooms FULL of good little lefty guys who know that they have done the very things for which Lauer is being shown the door.
Fortunately for them, they can depend on a reliable press to minimize the damage and scope of the discussion as well as the continuing support of LEGIONS of Inga-like lefty gals who will still go to bat for their "good guy" male feminists.
Blogger Drago said...
Even now, 20 years later, Inga can only reluctantly, as an afterthought, include Clinton's name (the rapist)
Is that a typo, Drago? Surely you do not mean to suggest that Clinton is a rapist?
Surely you meant to say that he is a "therapist".
Why just look at all the caring he showered (splooged?) on Monica Lewinski. A great, great man and mentor.
John Henry
I did not see it live, of course, but I have watched the video of the announcement on the Today show. It would take a heart of stone not to roar with laughter to watch it.
John: "A great, great man and mentor."
Indeed.
Had Mary Jo Kopechne lived, she too would have happily donned her kneepads in grateful thanks to a democrat President who advanced leftist policies.
Inga: "LOL, Drago your over generalizations and exaggerations are hilarious, however you don’t realize that by continuously doing this you make yourself a less than person who should be taken seriously"
LOL
Inga still isn't quite seeing it, is she?
“Inga, all the people you list and clearly hundreds more could not have done what they did without the willing, knowing, complicit actions and failure to act of hundreds of good little leftist gals just like you.Just. Like. You.You are them. They are you.I hope you love the rules you apply to others being applied to you.”
—————-
Are you stupid or what? So only leftie women are complicit in the cover up of sexual harrasment of other women? Even when a Republican is doing it? Sheesh how many leftie women covered up for Trump and Roy Moore I wonder?
LOL, Drago your over generalizations and exaggerations are hilarious, however you don’t realize that by continuously doing this you make yourself a person who should not be taken seriously.
Drago points out the most delicious piece of The Reckoning, the legions of beta males who have pawed their colleagues and await retribution. Not to mention the legions of unpawed women who are even now calculating revenge for some slight.
Women aren’t staying silent any longer
News from the dawn of time.
"Sheesh how many leftie women covered up for Trump and Roy Moore I wonder?"
The Washing Post had to go in search of a woman to accuse Roy Moore.
Women aren’t staying silent any longer
News from the dawn of time.
:-)
Inga; "Sheesh how many leftie women covered up for Trump and Roy Moore I wonder?"
At this point, the official record shows zero.
As for the ARMY of democrats, entire industries of leftist Hollywood, law firms etc., the list of Inga-like enablers is itself a LEGION strong.
Just as Cokie Roberts exposed just yesterday.
Just. Yesterday.
And why is that? Because the dems you love are ICONS!
Pelosi calls them ICONS! Savannah Guthrie says she is sorry for Lauer!
LOL
You can't make this stuff up. And more is pouring forth every single day.
Inga, you and all your fake p****-hat wearing morons are The Gang That Couldn't Shoot Straight!!
You aimed your lies at Trump and you and all your little lefty pals shot yourselves in the head.
It really couldn't have happened to a more deserving bunch than your pals.
Oh, and I forgot to add, LLR Chuck hardest hit.
“Inga still isn't quite seeing it, is she?”
Actually yes I’m seeing you very clearly. Your argumentation and debating methods are exceedingly dishonest and becoming old and stale. You don’t prove what you want to prove, you only make yourself look like a hysteric. Your comments are going to be ignored by me unless you drop your dishonest style of debate, which I doubt you’re capable of.
Drago, you blame leftists for every single thing that is a human failure. Are you such a huge partisan that you are unable to see and take responsibility for your fellow rightists also failing morally? Don’t you realize this is unrealistic and exceedingly odd? Do you honestly think your fellow rightists are without sin? You won’t be taken seriously by me until you stop your daily exercises in exaggeration and outright lying.
@Cook: "such swift and total responses must trouble thoughtful people." All five of us?
"Is our nation going through another witch hunt phase, where the mere whisper that someone has committed the transgression du jour brings about instant erasure?" Yes.
dreams: "The Washing Post had to go in search of a woman to accuse Roy Moore."
And the NYT just told us YESTERDAY that we no longer have to believe all women!
Of course, given the mass take down of Inga's pals they had to do something to "change the rules"....again. Otherwise, who will be left to lie about conservatives?
Althouse writes: Monday night to Wednesday morning — that's less than 2 days of investigation and opportunity for Lauer to defend himself. The interests of the entity, NBC, are put above any fairness to Lauer, because otherwise, what's the rush?
This it seems to me rests on an assumption that there was doubt either about what happened or whether it happened. But you have no idea whether that's true. It's at least equally probable that the conduct was grave, perhaps criminal, and that it was either not denied or not deniable. The fact that Lauer himself has made no objection is pretty telling, no?
Inga: "Drago, you blame leftists for every single thing that is a human failure."
I don't blame you for trying very hard to change the subject.
This one is not going too well for you.
And "taken seriously" by you? LOL That's a good one.
Let me help you out: You. Don't. Possess. Any. Moral. Authority. Sweetcakes. At. All.
As noted many times in the past, the lefties are terrible at adapting to new realities on the ground. Inga still thinks, after years of silence on the dems transgressions, she can lecture others! LOL
Hey Inga, it's not 1977 any longer. Just so you know.
These are Busy Men with Important Jobs. They don't have the time to chase pussy outside of their own workplace because the workplace consumes their lives. The networks, entertainment companies and political parties should just hire full time courtesans to serve their needs. It would be the only job of these vital employees. Then the females who actually have other work to do would be spared all the attention and could attend to informing the public or something.
“News from the dawn of time.”
Actually RH, no this isn’t accurate. Women have remained silent about sexual harrasment and abuse for eons. It’s only been revpecently that women have become brave enough to report it in the numbers that are happening now.
If you’re saying women are generally talkative, you might be right.
Wow, so Pro-Choice. Off with his head!
The left's Pro-Choice doctrine denies the constitutional right to due process, which originally implied a presumption of innocence, and violates the constitutional right to proportional judgments.
Witch hunts in public. Baby hunts under a layer of privacy.
Inga: " It’s only been revpecently that women have become brave enough to report it in the numbers that are happening now."
LOL
Only in the west. Try this stuff in Iran and see how far you get.
And yet, those are precisely the sorts of people you want to import into the US!
Because #LeftyLogic
“Let me help you out: You. Don't. Possess. Any. Moral. Authority. Sweetcakes. At. All.”
Neither. Do. You.
Sweetcakes.
At. All.
Roy Moore and Trump thank you.
"Monday night to Wednesday morning — that's less than 2 days of investigation and opportunity for Lauer to defend himself. The interests of the entity, NBC, are put above any fairness to Lauer, because otherwise, what's the rush?"
When you've been covering for him for years and you catch wind of impending articles.
Interesting approach of these two "journalists"..We love him but will be objective.
This is strange times. I'm old enough to remember that Bill Clinton's blow jobs in the WH were just sex and Democrat and MSM women journalists said they to would blow Clinton if given the chance. My how times have changed.
When the going gets tough, they send for the SOBs (sometimes attributed to Admiral King)
So when the media and congress are cleaning house of the SOBs, it means that things aren't tough. For now. As far as they can see, which isn't that far.
The SOBs will go somewhere things are tough. There are always places like that.
The Trump wing of the Republican Party is keeping their SOB. They know things are still tough for them.
This is the kind of dishonesty that Drago engages in daily. Is it dishonesty or is it dementia in the case of Trump? If Trumpists want and think they deserve credibility, they might want to push back on this one, as are some other conservatives.
“Donald Trump is just as delusional in private as he is in public. The president is often portrayed as a cynical politician who lies and spreads conspiracy theories to rile up his populist base, but a new report in The New York Times suggests even this interpretation is too generous. According to three sources close to Trump, he has suggested to people this year that the infamous Access Hollywood tape (which he has publicly acknowledged as real) is a forgery and that he wants it investigated. And that’s not all.”
Trump admitted it was his voice back when the tape was released. So denying it now helps him...how?
https://newrepublic.com/minutes/146018/donald-trump-just-delusional-private-public
Inga: "Roy Moore and Trump thank you."
Good.
Ted Kennedy and Bill Clinton and Harvey Weinstein and David Boies and John Conyers (the ICON!) and Al Franken and Matt Lauer and Roman Polanski .... (on and on)....thank you very much.
In fact, they thank you very very very much!
My recommendation to you Inga is to keep trying to change the subject. There is no upside to this sexual harassment scandal for the Army of harassers and female enablers (like you) for the Left.
I'm afraid you'll have to find another meme.
You should probably just go back to The Full Godwin and start telling everyone on the other side they are Nazi's again. That just might be all you have left.
This ends when men stop caring what women want. Because it is the men who enforce the law.
Currently 40% of the country are not just indifferent, but downright hostile to the Feminist agenda.
Things will likely only get worse as Feminism continues to destroy their own adherents.
Every son destroyed removes at least a few women from the ranks of Feminism.
Inga
If you want to understand the news you need to always replace "anonymous sources" with "an old gypsy woman said". For example in this case,
According to three old gypsy women close to Trump, he has suggested to forest fairies this year that the infamous Access Hollywood tape (which he has publicly acknowledged as real) is a forgery and that he wants it investigated. And that’s not all.”
Perhaps Inga could get The Women of Saturday Night Live to write ANOTHER enabling-support letter for Matt Lauer, just like they did for sexual harasser Franken?
That might be useful.
Or maybe a lefty group could pay additional women in Alabama to "remember" stuff Moore did. Of course, the problem for Inga and her pals in Alabama is that the folks in Alabama remember the last time Inga's pals pulled something like this: Steve Windom in 1998.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steve_Windom
"Windom's 1998 campaign for Lieutenant Governor was marked by scandal when false allegations involving a prostitute were made against him by supporters of his opponent. Garve Ivey, an Alabama plaintiffs' attorney, was eventually convicted of witness tampering and criminal defamation for conspiring with private investigator Wes Chappell to defame Windom. A former call girl, who had been paid to make false allegations, testified at the trial. Despite the efforts to publicly malign him, Windom was elected."
Yes, the democrats were doing this at the very same time they were intimidating and publicly shaming Bill Clintons credible accusers.
At the very same moment.
And they did it without shame.
No wonder the Alabama citizens aren't listening to the Inga-enablers of the world.
Buh-bye!
Mac McConnell offers: If you want to understand the news you need to always replace "anonymous sources" with "an old gypsy woman said".
An old gypsy woman might actually have some information.
Someone with mad skillz should do a parody version of that LMFAO/Lil John song Shots but with a chorus of "Scalps, scalps, scalps, scalps, scalps!" instead and show pics of the various Media people getting canned recently.
Great stuff.
"An old gypsy woman might actually have some information."
In this day and age they might be a coward with a hidden agenda, a journalist with a Fusion GPS stipend. or worse a member of the incompetent CIA or FBI or NSA who get paid to lie.

Speaking of Franken, why does he get a pass for wanting to kill "homosexuals"? I mentioned before the quote from Harvard Crimson interview.
Last week I reread Saturday Night: A Backstage history written in 1985 about the first 10 years. Available via Ann's portal and carries the coveted John Henry recommendation.
Franken was pretty rabidly anti-gay. For example one sketch he wrote had rogue cops killing gays. Comically, of course. Al has always been about the funny.
Franken and Davis—or F&D, as everyone called them—were the writers who were most active in dealing with the censors, and who most frequently provoked controversy with what they wrote. They had a knack for coming at issues from an off-center point of view that viewers often mistook as an endorsement of the very point that was being satirized. They created a parody of TV cop shows called “Ex-Police” (sometimes they called it “X-Police”) in which Dan Aykroyd and Bill Murray played rogue cops who had been thrown off the force for excessive violence. They still patrolled the community, however, killing anyone whose values strayed even slightly from the farthest reaches of the far right. In one episode they barged into an apartment shared by two women and, assuming they were lesbians, battered one and murdered the other. “Another homosexuality-related death,” they said as they walked out. The sketch provoked dozens of outraged letters from gay groups and others who wanted to know what was so funny about killing homosexuals.

The Seattle mayor was forced to resign due to his history of sex with underage boys.
Women have remained silent about sexual harrasment and abuse for eons. It’s only been revpecently that women have become brave enough to report it in the numbers that are happening now.
Its entertainment value was discovered. Like Jessica in the Well finally made network news a profit center in the 80s, a format copied ever since. Watched by women.
mockturtle: "The Seattle mayor was forced to resign due to his history of sex with underage boys."
It's a real shame Inga "missed" that story. I'm sure she would have been happy to publicize another democrat pedophile.
On the other hand, you have to be careful with leftists around pedophiles. Sometimes the lefties give them standing ovations on global telecasts! And that makes meme-building just a little bit more difficult...
I am hearing the same thing over and over on Lauer, Conyers, Rose, etc. And that is that people knew about these transgressions but no one spoke up.
The people that knew but kept mute were those in the media.
And it gets even better if true...
"Garrison Keillor of 'Lake Wobegon' fame says he's been fired over allegations of inappropriate behavior"

How many women stayed silent over Fox News for YEARS before one brave woman spoke up?
AZ Bob: "The people that knew but kept mute were those in the media"
Not "media".
"Democrats with bylines"
Inga: "How many women stayed silent over Fox News for YEARS before one brave woman spoke up?"
LOL
Inga would like you to forget for one moment the entire ARMY of lefties attacking your city in order to cite the guy over there is pilfering carrots off a vegetable cart.
Inga thinks it will work. Or maybe she doesn't. She simply has no other card to play.
With the announcement on Garrison Keillor in just the last hour, we are literally seeing these Inga-supported hypocrites dropping like flies every minute on the left.
“Fox News host Sean Hannity has become a reliable ally for powerful men accused of sexual assault and harassment, regularly using his platform to discredit women who report sexual misconduct and cast doubt on their complaints. Here is a look back on the ways Hannity has attempted to undermine these women and defend the men who have been reported.”
Roy Moore
Eight women have said Alabama Republican Senate candidate Roy Moore, a former judge of Alabama Supreme Court, sexually harassed or assaulted them, or had relations with them, when they were teenagers. The Washington Post first reported on November 9 that Leigh Corfman was 14 years old when Moore made sexual advancements toward her, and a number of women have since come forward with similar claims.
Hannity: Many women who report sexual harassment “will lie to make money.” [Media Matters, 11/9/17]
Hannity: “Then you have false allegations that are made, and -- how do you determine? It's ‘He said, she [said].’" [Media Matters, 11/9/17]
Hannity: “How do you know if it's true? How do we -- what's true? What's not true? How do you ascertain the truth?” [Media Matters, 11/9/17]
Hannity: “We do have Ten Commandments. One of the commandments is ‘Thou shalt not bear false witness.’ We know human beings break, with regularity, the other nine commandments. Did they break this one?” [Media Matters, 11/9/17]
Hannity: “But then also, are there false allegations? And when it's ‘he said, she said’ or whatever, how do you tell the difference?” [Premiere Radio Networks, Media Matters, 11/9/17]
Hannity invoked the Duke Lacrosse team case; Michael Brown, who was shot by a white cop in Ferguson, MO; George Zimmerman, who fatally shot Trayvon Martin; and Freddie Gray, who was killed in police custody to suggest there’s a history of accusers lying. [Media Matters, 11/9/17]
Hannity: The “swamp,” “the sewer,” and the “establishment” are out to get Moore. [Media Matters, 11/9/17]
Hannity: The Wash. Post “hates anything Republican, anything conservative.” [Media Matters, 11/9/17]
Roger Ailes
In July 2016, former Fox News host Gretchen Carlson filed a lawsuit against Roger Ailes, the now-deceased former Fox News CEO, alleging sexual harassment and retaliation against her when she would not have “a sexual relationship with him.” An additional 25 women also came forward with similar accusations. Reports later detailed startling revelations of Ailes’ attempts to cover up his sexual misconduct by spying on employees and silencing his accusers.
Hannity to Carlson: “Why did you stay after such ‘harassment’ asking for more airtime?” [Twitter, 7/13/16]
Hannity about Carlson: “Why did [Carlson] send handwritten notes with smiley faces asking for more airtime after the ‘alleged’ traumatic incident?” [Twitter, 7/13/16]
Hannity attacked accusations levied by Carlson as coming from a “publicity seeking” attorney. [Twitter, 7/9/16]
Hannity: “Hundreds of woman (sic) at Fox that I talked to” said all allegations against Ailes are “BS.” [Twitter, 7/9/16]
Hannity: “I have spoken to many woman (sic) who work at Fox that have the most amazing stories of how kind Roger is to them.” [Twitter, 7/9/16]
Hannity to Gabriel Sherman who reported on Ailes: “U r an Ailes and Fox stalker.” [Twitter, 7/13/16]
You know, given that the Inga-supported ARMY of leftists is being exposed for the harassers they are, we basically find ourselves in the Lefty Sexual Harassment Olympics!
And who better to cover these events than one Matt Lauer!
"Do you believe in Miracles?!"
Inga is going to be fun to watch over the next few weeks.
Donald Trump
In 2016, at least 20 women accused then-candidate Donald Trump of sexual misconduct, including 12 nonconsensual physical encounters. In October 2016, The Washington Post reported on a video clip in which a hot microphone caught Trump bragging to Billy Bush, then of Access Hollywood, “in vulgar terms about kissing, groping and trying to have sex with women.”
Hannity shrugged off accusations against Trump, arguing, “King David had 500 concubines for crying out loud!” [Fox News, Hannity, 10/7/16]
Hannity suggested that one of Trump’s accusers may have “welcome[d]” the sexual assault. [Media Matters, 10/13/16]
Hannity mocked one of Trump's accusers: “Donald Trump groped me on a plane. It was all right for the first 15 minutes, but then he went too far.” [Media Matters, 10/14/17]
Hannity on Trump accusers: “Just saying ‘help’ would solve the problem.” [Media Matters, 10/20/17]
Hannity called accusations of sexual assault against Trump “an attempt to neutralize the WikiLeaks revelations,” referring to the stories generated from hacked Democratic emails. [Media Matters, 10/13/16]
Bill O’Reilly
On April 1, The New York Times reported that former Fox News host Bill O’Reilly and 21st Century Fox, Fox News’ parent company, paid out at least $13 million in settlements with five women who said O’Reilly harassed them.
Hannity gave O’Reilly a platform on his shows multiple times to attack the women who reported him. [Media Matters, 9/26/17, 10/5/17]
Hannity hosted disgraced former Fox host O’Reilly after he was fired from the network. [Media Matters, 9/25/17]
Clarence Thomas
In 1991, Anita Hill, who worked as a former aide to Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas during his time at the Department of Education and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, “submitted a confidential statement to the Senate Judiciary Committee alleging that Thomas had sexually harassed her 10 years earlier,” according to CBS News. At least two other women also accused Thomas of sexual assault.
While interviewing Thomas, Hannity referred to his accusers as “those that systematically went about destroying you.” [FoxNews.com, 10/3/07]
Hannity implied that Thomas was “an innocent man” who had had “his reputation destroyed forever.” [Premiere Radio Networks, The Sean Hannity Show, 11/10/17]
Hannity has praised Thomas for “giving one of the most powerful defenses” against sexual assault accusations. [Fox News, Hannity, 11/10/17]
Inga going all the way back to Clarence Thomas and the liar Anita Hill!
Wow. Fantastic!
It's even worse for the lefties than I thought!
LOL.
You "go girl!"
Herman Cain
In 2011, at least two women reported that Herman Cain, who was at the time a candidate in the Republican presidential primaries, had sexually harased them during his tenure as the head of the National Restaurant Association in the 1990s.
Under a screen graphic that read “Herman hysteria,” Hannity questioned whether the charges were “politically motivated,” and badgered an accuser for “staying in the car” with Cain after she says she was harassed. [Media Matters, 11/11/11]
Hannity sought to discredit accusations against Cain and Justice Clarence Thomas, parroting their characterization of the charges as a “high-tech lynching.” [Politico, 11/10/11]
Hannity on Cain’s press conference denying sexual harassment accusations: “You would think this is going to end it.” [Media Matters 11/9/11]
Bill Shine
After Ailes was ousted in August 2016 amid mounting sexual harassment allegations, Fox News promoted Bill Shine to co-president of the network. As senior executive vice president, Shine had reportedly “played an integral role” in covering up sexual harassment claims, including those against Ailes. Shine had a role in pushing “women into confidential mediation [and into] signing nondisclosure agreements in exchange for their contracts to be paid” as well as in establishing a “counter-narrative” to discredit Carlson. He later resigned after reports surfaced that he was cited “in at least four lawsuits” that accused him of ignoring, dismissing, and even concealing sexual harassment allegations against Ailes.
Hannity: “Somebody HIGH UP AND INSIDE FNC is trying to get an innocent person fired.” [Twitter, 4/27/16]
Hannity: If Shine is fired, “that’s the total end of the FNC as we know it.” [Twitter, 4/27/16]
Hannity: “#Istandwithshine.” [Twitter, 4/27/16]
Just picture the intensity of activity and the sweat-beaded face of Inga as she struggles to turn back the tidal wave of leftist transgressions and enabling behavior by good little Inga's everywhere by recycling all the old standby accusations against conservatives!
Fun.
“ going all the way back to Clarence Thomas and the liar Anita Hill!”
Drago whining that I go back to Clarence Thomas, while a day can’t go by that he doesn’t mention Bill Clinton. You thought no one would notice?
BTW Inga, 3rd qtr economic growth at 3.3%.
Just what your democrat sexual harassers said was impossible.
Yikes! That's not going to help now, is it?
Inga: "Drago whining that I go back to Clarence Thomas, while a day can’t go by that he doesn’t mention Bill Clinton. You thought no one would notice?"
I don't think rapists should go free.
As a lefty, you clearly disagree.
I sense your discomfort.
It's been called a witch hunt, but I think it sounds more like purges.
BTW Inga, when you recycle the same handful of names over and over to at least change up the order once in awhile.
LOL
You're welcome.
PB: "It's been called a witch hunt, but I think it sounds more like purges"
The revolution being run by Inga's pals in The Gang That Couldn't Shoot Straight is self-immolating.
Drago hasn’t said a word about Roy Moore or Trump. Trump has been accused in court of raping a 13 year old girl. Hypocrite.
Now don't get me wrong. The LLR republicans led by McCain are lying in wait to sabotage the expected tax cuts.
I fully expect a vote, at the last minute, with maximum media coverage, to be sabotaged by McCain or one of the other usual suspects.
I'll bet McCain even tells the MSM what he intends to do prior to the vote to make sure he gets maximum exposure.
Inga: "Drago hasn’t said a word about Roy Moore or Trump."
I don't have to.
The NYT told me just yesterday, JUST YESTERDAY, that I don't have to believe the liars on the left.
Thanks New York Times!
Inga, quick hint: next time your side is going to pay women to come forward, (you know, dragging hundred dollar bills thru trailer parks and all), try to pay off a better class of women who haven't committed fraud.
Again, just a friendly reminder.
Oh, and try to leave Gloria Allred out of it. She doesn't seem to be too helpful in these situations.
Drago, you haven’t got a leg to stand on, just as I told you several days ago. The more you hysterically accuse leftists of a double standard without even mentioning the sexual harassers and molesters on your side, the more you prove you aren’t a credible person and prone to hyperbole and lies.
Inga; "The more you hysterically accuse leftists of a double standard without even mentioning the sexual harassers and molesters on your side,...."
Yeah, a leftist just wrote that.
After all these decades!
Awesome!
It is becoming apparent that NBC fired Lauer not because they recently found out he did something wrong and started investigating a complaint, but because his behavior was about to become public knowledge via a news story. I think NBC's management is lying about about how long they have known about this- they held off until the story could no longer be contained in house.
It beats anything I've ever seen, Drago -- it really does.
The left can toss all the corpses on the pile it wants- the right no longer will play by their rules- that horse bolted a long time ago. We are laughing at you, Inga, and you just don't get it, do you?
Yancey Ward: "It is becoming apparent that NBC fired Lauer not because they recently found out he did something wrong and started investigating a complaint, but because his behavior was about to become public knowledge via a news story."
This is the absolute best part of this entire story.
After generations of lefty gals like Inga enabled the hundreds lefty harassers and given pedophiles standing ovations, I wonder if there are lots of reporters smart enough to realize that reporting on Inga's heroes is no longer off limits and your careers won't be harmed by reporting the truth about those lefty "ICONS".
And if that is true, this "trickle" will become an even greater deluge of exposure of Inga's heroes.
Just try to imagine the rooms full of Inga-approved lefty male feminists who are, as we speak, sitting behind their desks and tables and wondering just how they extricate themselves from this quagmire.
Again, Ronan Farrow for Man of the Year. Can there really be any doubt at this point?
The second best part of this is watching the lefty harassers and enablers (like Inga) try to get "in front" of this and pretend they've been there all along!
And simultaneously they want to lecture YOU from a position of moral superiority! LOL
Oh, that sound you're hearing? That's those Midwest electoral votes moving ever more solidly into the Trump re-elect column.
What we really need now is for some dem advertising firm to decide, like Inga, that the way out of this situation is to simply double down on calling Trump voters Nazi's and lecturing Trump voters about sexual harassment!
I actually think if some dem firm starts following the Inga-Strategy that I will cut them some cash.
Yancey Ward: "Again, Ronan Farrow for Man of the Year. Can there really be any doubt at this point?"
Nope.
You are exactly correct.
Amazing isn't it? All it took was one guy with just enough standing and backing to stand up to the entire left-wing media industry and light a fire which is consuming Inga's heroes and fellow-lecturers of Others.
If it was so bad when the Left did it, why are you doing it now?
That makes you as bad as leftist. Who knew you were so keen to become the leftists you hated so much. Is that even normal? Or could it be that you are no more moral and neve were than any leftist anyway? The truth is out.
Shorter Inga: "You're a hypocrite for correctly calling us out as hypocrites!"
There seems to be a lot of liberal male feminist pigs.
“Shorter Inga: "You're a hypocrite for correctly calling us out as hypocrites!"”
You missed the point. The point is that Rightists are not and never have been any more moral and upstanding than any Leftist.
Someone should write a write a book called the liberal male feminist pig and all the women who enabled them.
Rules are different now because power. - Inga
Inga the Forgetful: "The point is that Rightists are not and never have been any more moral and upstanding than any Leftist."
LOL
So, you are saying that you are saying we are all equally moral and upstanding?
But how can that be as you, yourself, have branded everyone on the other side as Nazi's and the Theocratic Taliban.
Well. A new day has certainly dawned, has it not?
Inga is now fully invested in the "Lets not quibble about who killed who..." strategem!
Drago may have won the Internet with his 12:25 PM comment!
Even better, just yesterday (YESTERDAY!), Inga's leftist hero and male feminist Keillor was asserting that Franken should not have to resign!
And the lefties Inga admires so honored Letterman!
Inga clearly can't keep up with what it all means. She and LLR Chuck still think they are back in those wonderful heady days of the fake golden dossier!
Inga: "...just a cover for the sexual predators in your midst."
My God. She really can't help herself, can she?
Lots of male conservative pigs at Fox and in Congress and conservative females who enabled them, for many years. You folks just want to look like you have the moral high ground, all that Family Values stuff, just a cover for the sexual predators in your midst.
Mark Foley, Dennis Hastert and the wide stance guy thank you for covering for them for so many years.
“My God. She really can't help herself, can she?”
Now Drago calls out to God to ask why Inga won’t let him get away with his hypocrisy, ok that’s funny.
LOL
We can't hear you Inga, over the laments and cries of the hundreds of victims of your heroes.
Drago, you’re sounding a bit like Chuck.
If Moore wins the Alabama election like I predicted 3 weeks ago, Inga will explode into a cloud of moralistic dust.
Inga: "Drago, you’re sounding a bit like Chuck."
See, now that is a more effective tactic. Its ridiculous of course, but at least its funny!
I'm proud of you.
I'm waiting for shoes to start dropping on Joe Scarborough. Who thinks that a serial adulterer who's soon to be married for the third time to Mika, an adulteress, and who admitted to sleeping with his dead Congressional assistant doesn't have many more women in his closet.. . Get Ronan Farrow on it STAT.
Hey, Drago.
Do you realize that Inga's primary goal is to disrupt and destroy comment threads and your continuing replies and interactions simply forward that goal? She's playing you.
Rabel, no one is stopping you from writing something insightful, interesting, compelling, noteworthy, commentary-worthy, etc.
By all means, give it a shot.
I can Drago’s supplications to God. “Oh please Lordie, don’t let Inga keep bringing up the sexual sinners on the right and their conservative enablers! I beseech you God!”
Thanks for the advice. I'll give it some thought.
“Do you realize that Inga's primary goal is to disrupt and destroy comment threads and your continuing replies and interactions simply forward that goal? She's playing you.”
Really? Who told you this, God? I get to express my views, the same as any other commenter here does, including you, as long as I abide by the blog’s rules. That is how I understand it.
Inga's pals continue to fall by the minute. Literally.
snip: "NPR Chief News Editor David Sweeney has left the company following allegations of sexual harassment filed against him by at least three female journalists."
An Army of leftist harassers and enablers.
An ARMY.
I'm sure that Lauer objected very strenuously, and we don't know how much NBC paid him off to go quietly. What the Network certainly didn't want was another Kevin Spacey-like statement "if I did it, etc" which would only serve to provide grist for the upcoming civil lawsuits, which are surely forthcoming.
Best to stay silent until they get to Court---which is when it really gets interesting!
P.S. I'm surprised they're allowing Kathie Lee, Hoda, and all the other Hens, to speak about this at all. Surely, anyone saying anything at this juncture compromises their future legal defenses????
One thing I will say for Drago. He understands just how deadly boring these comments sections would quickly become without dissenting voices. If Rable wants an echo chamber, he should stay on Lem’s Levity.
I don't want to pile w more here, but why is Joe Barton a sexual predator, Inga? He is a victim of extortion and revenge porn.
“Inga’s pals continue to fall by the minute. Literally.”
OK Drago, now you have me prayin’....
Oh Lordie, no more! Please send in some conservatives!
