A long time ago, I met June Foray at a convention, introduced by a mutual friend. I didn't of her then, but she did the Rocky voice for me, which gave me a huge grin. (she must have got that a lot!)
People around us sniffed like it was "ok, but not the real thing."
She got her start in Radio, where the voice was the character. Funny that it all started with silent movies that ignored the voice, but then Radio made the voice all you needed, and finally TV merged them with live shows and re runs of Talking Movies and NewsReels which had been king for a short 20 years.
Just absolutely loved her. She worked for Jack Benny and other comedians in radio and transitioned to voices for Jay Ward and company. Funniest Natasha EVER.
That is sad to hear. I also met her once and she signed a Rocky and Bullwinkle poster for me that I gave to a friend on her birthday once many years ago (she was a fan-atic of the show).
June Foray was also the voice of Itchy the Mouse from the meta-cartoon The Itchy and Scratchy Show VoilĂ ! June uses her own natural voice to portray a cartoon voice actor voicing other cartoon characters that exist to entertain other cartoon characters

So close, but she never reached the 100. I wonder if she used her voice for prank calls. Her voice sounded like whatever wanted it to sound like.

This had to be a contract hit job to cover up Trump/Russia collusion.
Obviously.
Add homicide to the list of impeachable offenses Trump has committed.
Many Scoutmasters resemble Fearless Leader.
Prayers for her and her family. I enjoyed her work.
Having done voiceover work for my daughters projects it ain't as easy as it looks.
God speed ma'am.
Rocky, Natasha, and many, many more were voiced by her:
A good obit of her is at Mark Evanier's site:

What a great, clever cartoon show Rocky and Bullwinkle was! Rest in peace!
She was in Mulan.
I actually wondered if she was still alive.
What an amazing career.
Althouse would have been fortunate had she had an opportunity to teach at WhatsamattaU.
@Drago, she did. "Wisconsin" is a cover story.

Her final Foray. Hope it does well.

I didn't know she was the voice of Witch Hazel.
Ninety-nine's a good run. Rest in peace, Ms Foray.

I loved it, too, Exiled! It was my favorite.
Happy trails June Foray, in the great beyond.

I once had a Wossamatta U T-shirt.
You can still get them at Amazon, with or w/o Bullwinkle's image, with various spellings.

I was actually terrified by the Moon Mice that ate TV Antennas.
I got over it.

Also in Fractured Flickers, another Jay Ward production.
She invented the Pottsylvanian accent.
She was brilliant. Thank you.
Rocky and Bullwinkle was not children's TV.

Somebody above mentioned Witch Hazel (the Looney Tunes character)... she also voiced Tweety Bird's owner, Granny.
