Jake Tapper's 7-year-old son sasses him by saying "fake news" when he doesn't like what his dad is saying.

Hollywood Reporter reports.

The term "fake news" is going to haunt the MSM until they change and change will never happen.

Not only did the link show Jake Tapper, it had Jake with Ana Marie Cox. What a waste of pixels!

Thanks for a chuckle.

"But what is going through Tapper's mind when he's in the middle of an interview and he knows the subject is lying? "

No bias there, thank goodness.

"To be completely candid, I did fact checks about Barack Obama, too, not at the same rate, nor was there a need for them at the same rate."

He thinks he was being objective and doesn't realize how subjective the "need for them" is.

"I was doing the fact checks and the commentaries about the importance of empirical fact and truth during the campaign." That comment prompted Cox to quip: "You were into facts before facts were cool."

In response, Tapper noted that he was also hard on President Barack Obama's administration. "To be completely candid, I did fact checks about Barack Obama, too, not at the same rate, nor was there a need for them at the same rate," he said.

1.) So, "facts" became "cool" sometime during the campaign and in the waning days of the Obama presidency?

2.) Why, because fact checks "about Obama" were not needed "at the same rate"?

3.) And why did Tapper preface his statement by claiming to be "completely candid" about his having done fact checks on Obama? Does that "candor" imply Tapper was he coming clean on having done any fact checks on Obama at all (a penitence to Obama supporters), or was he coming clean on the of his bias that there wasn't a "need for them at the same rate" (an admission to CNN critics)?

Trump’s fabulism is supposed to be part of his charm, so please don’t start denying/minimizing that now.

Fake news by virtue of commission, omission, and deception (e.g. mischaracterization).

"To be completely candid, I did fact checks about Barack Obama, too, not at the same rate, nor was there a need for them at the same rate," he said.

During the Obama Administration, the need was to appear unbiased to the near-idiots who trust CNN, hence the occasional fact-based critique — not often, just often enough for Jake Tapper to make what he deemed to be a plausible claim of impartiality. Today the need is to destroy Trump in revenge for being totally skunked last November.

When Tapper "fact checks" Trump, with carefully chosen and cherry-picked "facts," Is that because he's hearing lies or because he wishes the truth wasn't really true?

So, "Yellow Journalism" used to be the term for media-sensationalized stories.

Is there a difference between yellow journalism and fake news, or is it just an updated term for our era? It certainly is more direct, but often the very directness is indulging in the very problem.

The fake news kerfuffle is yellow journalism, but are they equivalent terms?

Seems the son surpasses the father in knowing truth.

I have seen that claim approximately nowhere.

Trumps "fabulism" as you call it is called out as sign of his willingness to engage in bare-knuckles political brawling against a dem/lefty MSM that has had no issues lying about republicans for years.

Of course, you could post some links which buttress your point about Trump's "fabulism" and others calling it charming.

It will be interesting to see if you do.

I assume that this is fake news. Tappers point is that you have to be a seven year old to believe that he is fake news.

Do you have a silly bullshit tag?

Tapper having led the way on the Trump "golden shower" dossier, I would say he is the reigning king of fake news.
