Are you expecting Trump to go big and wild or to play it straight and "normal"?

Watch the debate with me.

Wow, still no spittle from our spittle-flecked friends.
Probably a demand for fifteen bucks an hour.

I think that Theranter is correct - the Dems have something cooked up for this week. The timing is just too coincidental for these last couple things for the timing of their releases to be accidental. I think that they probably have stuff queued up every week until the election. We shall find out tomorrow - sped up, if necessary, due to Trump's performance tonight.

But, I just don't think that it will be more locker room talk. Indeed, I don't see them touching much involving sex for the rest of the campaign, thanks to Trump having that presser with four of Bill's and Crooked Hillary's victims right before the debate. Two rape victims, and two victims of sexual harassment, all with credible claims against the Clintons. Maybe if they can show that Trump raped a 90 year old nun, but the bar is now pretty high involving sexual matters. With anything less than full boat corroborated rape allegations, he just needs to haul out his four Clinton victims again, and have Broderick tell, again, how Bill raped her, and Crooked Hillary threatened her. Which she seems to almost relish, to get even (and, if my memory serves me right, she was a staunch Democrat when the rape occurred). And, it probably can't be taxes or finances, so it should be interesting.

On a somewhat unrelated note... Anyone else received their premium increase letters yet? Just got mine in the mail... Insurance is going up another $300 dollars in 2017 and the deductible is doubling... Will now total $817 a month for just me and my 6 year old son... 5 years ago my insurance was $200 /mo for 3 of us... It's fucking insane... This is almost as much as my house payment...

Good morning, American working person. How ya' doing today.
I am Barack Hussein Obama, and it's time for you to give me twenty dollars. Every morning, from now on, you'll be giving me twenty dollars, each and every day. I know I promised that you could keep your doctor, and that you would save $2500 each year with Obamacare, but I was lying. Why did you believe me? I only said that stuff because more people were happy with their health plans than were unhappy with their health plans. I take things away from people who worked for what they have. That is what I do. I am Barack Hussein Obama.
If you were a millionaire, I'd be giving you a couple of thousand bucks each and every day, but since you are a working person, you'll be giving me twenty dollars each and every day.
If you don't like it, or if you think that is unfair, you are a fucking racist.

Any data from the not-fed-gov-entanglement cohort?

At the end of the day, whether Trump or H. Clinton snatches the prize, the rest of us will be soldiering on.

That, without question, is so.

Jon Ericson said...

No shit, Sherlock.

BTW, LMAO:

I'd crawl over broken glass to pay what's now considered a small [yet too expensive] health-insurance premium.

Y'all have no use for the likes of me and mine. Y'all just want to suck us dry, insulting us all the way down as you do it.

Too many of you have never done what you say people ought do, and also too many of you have looked down your nose at my husband and I as we have so done.

"my husband and I"

sorry, that should've been

"my husband and me"

It all makes sense if you do enough meth.

Thanks for the tip, Jon Ericson, yet no thanks to you. I'm a jerk going on, now, for 50 years. Make no mistake about it: What happened to me, I deserved it.

How weak are you, Jon Ericson, that you can't stand up and claim stuff that I have?

Jon Ericson said...

good night rcommal. don't forget your pills :

rcommal said...

Also, for the record, I have never once done meth in any form. I did, exactly one time, and one time only, snort a very short line of coke, back in the day, in Newark, DE, in winter 1987.

Among the reasons why I remember that so clearly has to do with those who died so many years ago and those, while still living, with whom I'm not in touch.

Last night's episode of Wonderfalls has the face-making-blue-eyed-chick intervening to help out a Russian mail order bride who gets in a jam. I always assumed that Russian mail order brides were an urban legend. But if there's a TV show that treats them as real then they must be real.

Oh, and there was some Bill Murray movie that had a Russian mail order bride in it.

TV show + movie = real.

They're apparently quite good-looking, kindly, affectionate and accommodating.

"There she goes again. Government as charity. Doing you and everyone else a favor with your tax dollars."

1.) If it's our tax dollars it's neither charity nor a favor. It's our money being spent for our benefit.
2.) This, of course, is how our tax dollars should be spent.
3.) Don't worry, she's lying and doesn't mean a word of any promises she's making. She's trying to hold on to the Bernie supporters. She won't do a damn thing that is not approved by or for the benefit of her Wall Street benefactors/bosses.

Last night's episode of Star Trek TOS was the one where the mute, empathic, heavily made-up, mime chick does a lot of mime stuff. Kirk gets tortured by big skull super aliens. McCoy gets tortured by big skull super aliens. I can't recall whether Spock gets tortured by big skull space aliens.

Pretty disjointed episode. Looks like they ran out of money. Really bad ending. Scotty says something that's supposed to be profound. Something about a pearl of great price. Huh?

Anyway, one of the things you have to admire about that episode is the way they managed to blanch away any insinuation that the best sex in the galaxy is mute-empath mime sex.

Still watching CNN. Van Jones says his threat to investigate and/or jail was a new low.

How can anybody let what she did slide? If you want to have any legitimate laws in regards to classified info, then the FBI's decision in her case has to be undone.

From what I saw, it seemed the audience seemed WAY less interested in the "bombshell" tape than the media was. And the media (moderators) seemed less than happy

Federal Law stipulates that she do jail time and never be allowed to hold public office again.

U.S. Code › Title 18 › Part I › Chapter 101 › § 2071
18 U.S. Code § 2071 - Concealment, removal, or mutilation generally

(a) Whoever willfully and unlawfully conceals, removes, mutilates, obliterates, or destroys, or attempts to do so, or, with intent to do so takes and carries away any record, proceeding, map, book, paper, document, or other thing, filed or deposited with any clerk or officer of any court of the United States, or in any public office, or with any judicial or public officer of the United States, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both.
(b) Whoever, having the custody of any such record, proceeding, map, book, document, paper, or other thing, willfully and unlawfully conceals, removes, mutilates, obliterates, falsifies, or destroys the same, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both; and shall forfeit his office and be disqualified from holding any office under the United States. As used in this subsection, the term “office” does not include the office held by any person as a retired officer of the Armed Forces of the United States.
