"Oh, sure. I mean, you know, you make these choices based on imperfect information. And you make them to... as we say, the best of your ability."

"But that doesn't mean that there's not going to be unforeseen consequences, unpredictable twists and turns."

Hillary Clinton, setting up her expression of regret for "what happened in Benghazi."

Unforeseen to YOU. Unpredictable to YOU.

But not to many many others.

That is why you are unfit for public office.

Raise your hand if you missed the Clinton Obfuscations.

Then settle in for another 4 years of "the Rose Law Firm records just magically appeared on my nightstand"

I feel like a school teacher waiting on the 16th excuse for why Hillary couldn't get her book report done this time.

She knew. She choked. She lied.

People died.

What deeply bothers me about Benghazi is the idea that they fought for 10 hours without any help being sent. Even if help couldn't have arrived within ten hours, which I doubt, they may have fought for fifteen hours, possibly, how could anybody know that.

I haven't been following the story closely enough to know if the above has been proven false, but I don't think it has.

Oh yeah, and the other thing: Where was the POTUS at the time? Nobody cares to know, I guess.

And I still want to know WHY Benghazi was attacked.

It DOES make a difference.

All the information was that Benghazi was unsafe. The decision was made despite that information, not because the information was imperfect.

At this point, I think Hillary was right: "what difference does it make"

Why do I say that?
1. everyone who is in her camp won't ever, ever think she did anything wrong.
2. Anyone not in her camp, who follows politics, has a pretty clear picture of whether she should be held accountable or not.
3. The people who don't follow politics, the LIVs, can't be bothered now that it's 18+ months in the past.

She should still be held accountable for her lapses in judgement, for spreading the lie about the video, for all of it.

What a horrible horrible person.

She's never been same since having to land in that helicopter under heavy gunfire. It was seared in her mind, causing her to misjudge events in Benghazi.

The Clintonistas are quite happy that we keep talking about the response to the attack in Benghazi, and "chasing rabbits" trying to find someone to pin the blame on. This can go on forever and not get anywhere.
That they are that desperate to distract attention from finding out out what caused the attack in the first place, indicates that knowing that indeed would "make a difference."

After studying the Obama Gang's method of operation as to the Arab Spring, their goal has been removal of existing political structures and standing back and watching the conflagration...like the ObamaCare Law does to the USA's medical payments system.

They honestly feel NO responsibility at all. A Marxist sees all existing social order as in need of destruction. That allows revolutions, and revolutions are always bloody but noble.

We're in a war, and our enemies are going to hurt us. They're going to kill some of us. I'm not that upset at our government when this happens to exposed diplomats and soldiers. That's their job, and they know the risks. It's fine to dissect what happened afterward and assign blame where it's appropriate. What happened in Benghazi was a result of a screw up, and people died. This happens in war. It's not really surprising or all that important. Soldiers die in Afghanistan because of mistakes, too. Their deaths are not of national importance, although they should be.

What's important politically were the blatant lies told by Secretary Clinton and many others about the details of the attack. These lies were told for very petty and political reasons. The dynamics of an election year required that no terrorist attack could be allowed to occur, even if it already had. And the lies served their purpose because Obama was reelected. Since that's over, can't we all just move on? That's the argument. It doesn't matter anymore because I say so.

Its 3am, do you know who your next president is?

What is a bit disheartening is that this woman is the most likely next President, despite a record of lying and cheating that stretches back to her getting thrown off the Watergate prosecution, and extending through her marrying Bubba, living in Arkansas, then the White House, and her time as Secretary of State. Few people in the public eye can come close to her long, long record of documented corruption, and yet, she has the inside track for the Presidency.

Unforeseen? It was 911, the Consulate was unprotected. Islamists love anniversaries, especially the anniversary of the day they gave Great Satan a bloody nose. The best of Hillary's ability was not good enough. The best of Obama's ability to cover up her incompetence was to send a filmmaker to jail.

Sergeant Hillary Schultz failed her 3:00 a.m. call, and expects to be promoted to Commander in Chief. The horror of all horrors, she may get her promotion.

Benghazi was in an active war zone following the regime change, which included the murder of Gaddafi and fragmentation of the nation's population. Clinton may have been responsible before the fact; but, Obama was responsible during and after the attack. Both are responsible for the Benghazi attack and the death of Americans in the government's service.

You mean like in Iraq?

Funny, she never gave much of a break to the opposition who also may have failed to foresee consequences and twists.

This woman wants to be president so much that she has no choice but to achieve succeeding levels of incoherence to explain past, present, and future positions. Once upon a time, it would've been considered embarrassing and unseemly.
