Aaron Rodgers broke his collarbone!

Oh, no!

Are you still going to care about football? Or are you ready to move on until next year?

(Last night was brutal!)

The Packers offensive line stinks. I feel bad for Rodgers. But the Packers weren't going anywhere this season with or without him. Bad offensive line and bad defensive line.

I think Seneca Wallace needs to change his first name. Insulting to Native Americans.

Not I, Prof! Not now, not next year; never.

Rogers will be back. He was crushed under two 300 pounders when he did not get down fast enough to void the grasp.

A real cultural moment this week came from the NFL where there has been a push back against Sadists using traditions of hazing of new players to pleasure themselves.

If Seneca Wallace is the Packers quarterback going forward, the Packers season (i.e. their playoff chances) are over.

At least as over as my fantasy football season :(

I now have to depend on the mighty arm of (shudder) Nick Foles.

When the World Series ended, so did this year's sports. They start again with Spring Training.

Actually, the Bears broke his collarbone.

I'm reading a great book right now on the history of professional wrestling.

Reminds me a lot of football (pro and college)but with more interesting people in wrestling.

I feel much the same about most other big time sports too.

It is hard for me to stop caring when I never cared to begin with.

I, for one, can't give up on football yet! The Cowboys have at least three, probably four games to lose in a crazy, last minute, collapse! It is what we live for here in Dallas!

Sports talk radio is a lot more fun when they lose crazy!

Never. Hey, if you're a Packer fan that weathered the '70's and '80's, this is nothing...

Wow, short memory spans here...it was just a few years ago that the Packers, wracked by an unprecedented number of season-ending injuries, limped into the playoffs at 10-6 (needing a Week 17 victory over the Chicago Bears, their Week 17 opponent this year, too). Just starting to get healthy, they won a tight Wildcard game against the Eagles, then obliterated the top-seeded Falcons thanks to one of the most dominating post-season performances every by a QB. They beat those same Bears again, then rallied after one of their team leaders broke his collarbone to win the Super Bowl.

Even if they lose the next 3 games with Rodgers out (unlikely, given their opponents have a combined record of 7-18), they will still likely be in a position to make the playoffs. And, once they're there...they've shown anything can happen.

I'm a Detroit Lions fan, and I approve this message.

Section 123, row 23, lined up on the 29 yard line on the Bears' side to the left of the Bears' bench as they faced the field. With my son, his buddy and his buddy's step-dad in our Bears regalia.

"What? Wait? Where's Rogers going? He's going to the locker room? Why ????"

Panic in the stands. But they still thought the Pack would win. And when they went up 20-17 it did look bad. But McCown engineered a 8:58 long drive at the end of the game to suck the life out of the Pack. Key play - going for 4th and inches on our own 28. The first time that an NFL coach has gone for 4th and less than one in his own territory in 2 years according to the NFL.

They've relied much too heavily on Rodgers, IMO.

That said, WHAT ABOUT BADGER FOOTBALL? (you know, real football)
