"On two occasions, two people at two separate NCSRCC offices have sworn emphatically that a phone call would be returned that day or the next, but no calls ever materialized. Someone named 'Tony' from the union once left a voicemail, but then never answered a returned call."
I've seen the 3 guys holding up the sign out by Hilldale shopping center. Twice I tried to read the sign to figure out which place they had a beef with. I assumed it was the steakhouse, which was the place they were closest to, but I couldn't read the name of the place at the bottom of the sign, because the men were letting the sign droop. Now I see their target was Lululemon Athletica, a shop with some nice-looking athletic-wear. Makes me want to run over there and buy some toasty tech tights.

People have a right to be stupid.
How bad can it be for the membership when they have to hire non-union picketers?
Lululeman used Ayn Rand quotes on their shopping bags at some point. I'm sure this didn't help their standings with The Unions.
The union hired scabs? They couldn't find some union guys to do the work? What's the living wage the scabs are being paid?
A just decree would allow the protest to continue but oblige the protesters to dress in Lululemon Athletica.
Hinds says he isn't even quite sure what the union is protesting, since all labor at both his Madison locations was coordinated by his landlords.
I see the problem. He was expecting them to be logical.
Amazon sells similar toasty tech tights!
$98 for a pair of yoga pants and $54 for a pair of running shorts. Knock yourself out, but here, no thanks.
edutcher is already fantasizing about you in those tights.
My daughter loves lululemon. They used to be on Monroe Street across from TJ's.
Repeal the Wagner Act. Give the unions something to really picket about.
Imagine if universities hired professors the way trade unions expect contractors to hire tradespeople: just call the union hall and they'll send you someone (which they, not you, select).
Aren't all with the same training and experience of equal value?
Lululemon makes amazing yoga and running pants. They keeps things nice and tight like Spanx but feel like pajamas. And they hide everything, even when you are in a downward dog.
It's hard to get good goons these days. (c) Instapundit
But hey, I got an electrician from IBEW after a phone call to do electrical work at my house when we moved in, and all went very well.
Hey, the union slugs had to hire people to fill slots as Ozero rallies all last year.
Why should this be any different?

Well, somebody's projecting and I didn't say a word.
Is it OK to say she's an attractive woman?
Isn't Lululemon a front for some cult?
Where's TMR when you need him?
I had an incident a long time ago with union guys. The business in the building behind me was being picketed, and they were walking across the driveway picketing back and forth, back and forth. The driveway was the only access to both mine and the other businesses. I went out and talked to the guys picketing (actual union members) and they gave me the cold shoulder. So I called their local president and bitched to high heaven. Within five minutes an attorney from the union called me, asked about the situation, and in about five more minutes the local union boss came down, chewed their asses and the picketing was relegated to areas not impeding my business. I was pretty happy that they took care of the problem promptly.
Do the scabs get healthcare, what exactly is a "living wage", and why isn't there union representation for sign holders?
