Anyway, Chicago wants you to know that the Walker recall business has got nothing to do with Obama.
"This is a gubernatorial race with a guy who was recalled and a challenger trying to get him out of office," Obama deputy campaign manager Stephanie Cutter said on MSNBC Wednesday. "It has nothing to do with President Obama at the top of the ticket."A guy... and a challenger... don't even say the names in the same breath as you say the name of The One.
Asked whether the recall showdown means anything for the November general election, Cutter told host Chuck Todd, "No, I don't think so."Not even Biden! What a gulf! What a vast, yawning chasm there is between Chicago and Wisconsin. Chicago, which sent busloads of Chicagoan union types up to inflate the crowds in the protests of yore.
Some Wisconsin Democrats and labor officials have privately groused that the Obama campaign has not sufficiently been involved in backing Walker's challenger, Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett. Neither Obama nor Vice President Biden have been dispatched to campaign on Barrett's behalf.

"A guy" has an Ayers of suspicion to it.
The Chicago way: "We doan pick no f'ing losers"
Speaking of busloads...any more news of Karleton Armstrong?
What about the guy that lives in Barry's neighborhood?
It's always difficult to know which polls to believe, because there's a lot of spin from both sides. However, it seems to me that there can be no doubt what the internal democrat polls, which the Obama team surely have acces to, are saying.
(Three words in WV. That'll fool the robots!)
What about Guy Noir, private eye? Barry can always count on the support of totally in the tank Garrison Keiller's Guy.
The Chicago phrase, "Who sent youse?" was answered incorrectly by Barrett.
The thing with the guy in the place...
It has nothing to do with Obama except to foreshadow his election prospects.
The spittle is flying, the fists flinging at air, the rage flirting with hypertensive circulatory disaster.
Sweet, sweet schadenfreude.
I hope all of you people in Wisconsin are ready to be kicked in the face by the tantrum-throwing left when you fail to recall Walker.
It will turn out that Wisconsin invented Apartheid, and has unconscionable rates of alcoholism and teen pregnancy.
I suspect the Egyptian idols under the Field Museum are coming out at night and do chants to hide Pharaoh Obama from Moses Walker's Staff.
Or it may just be the Chicago Hot Dog Eaters despising the Brat Eaters to the far north.
Chicago = the Obama campaign. Isn't that weird?
I never metonym I didn't like.
Not even Biden! What a gulf!
Not a gulf, but a gaffe, a missed opportunity. They should send Biden to Wisconsin, and then to South Carolina and Oklahoma and Arizona and North Dakota and New Mexico, and to California and Texas and New York! And to South Dakota and Oregon and Washington and Michigan. And then to Washington, D.C. to prepare the White House...for Hillary.
FINAL MULAW WISCONSIN RECALL POLL: Walker 52% Barrett 45%
But of course by pretending it isn't happening, Obama is a super-duper politico.
Or something.
"Chicago" for the Obama campaign is weird, but less weird than "Boston" for the Romney campaign.
Success has a thousand fathers, but failure is an orphan.
Maybe Barrett doesn't want the prez or vp. They got their base fired up and the prez isn't going to hold sway w/ independents.
Lol, talk about washing ones hands. Fucking stooges. All the leftards are stooges.
Don't get cocky.
I've seen the Dems take losing VOTE results and cheat them into victory too many times (WA Governor Christine Gregoir ring any bells?). I'll believe Walker has won when the Dems stop the constant re-count demands, protests, legal challenges, etc. My guess is that Barrett will manage an amazing 'come from behind' victory after finding a few 'lost' boxes of ballots.

Looks like Obama's team thinks the recall is a lost cause for the dems (Althouse predicted the dems would lose the recall).
Wonder how much this recall thing will hurt Obama in the prez election. If Obama loses the national election because he loses Wisconsin because of the insane antics of Wisconsin dems responding to gov Walker it will be one of the funniest political snafus of all time.
BTW, Chicago is about 50 miles from the Wisconsin state line.
Chicago's coming. They just got stuck in traffic.
The Obama campaign and the DNC want nothing to do with Tom Barret and this recall. They advised the Democratic Party of Wisconsin not to do the recall, but the sooper geniuses who run the DPW went ahead regardless.
The MU Law School poll released today has Governor Walkeer ahead of Tom Barrett by seven points, with a four percent margin of error.
Worse, the percentage of Dem likely voters has actually decreased since the previous poll, and seventy percent of all those polled (including Dems) favor the increased contributions to health insurance and pension funds required by Act 10.
Tom Barrett and this recall are both losers, and the Obama campaign has enough problems without attaching Obama or Biden to either.
Sweet irony, since the last time Tom Barrett ran for governor it was at the strong suggestion of the Obama administration.
How sweet is it that Russ Feingold is part of the MU Law School, by the way? I don't recall (no pun intended) hearing Russ dispute the MU Law School Poll results.
President Choom is so scared he's keeping all the money and Demo Congressional candidates are grousing all over the place, but, yeah, from the '10 elections on, everything is a referendum on Zero.
Edutcher--if you would please 'splain the term "choom," please. Sometimes I am really out of it. :)

I'll answer since I know.
It was the name of Obama's major pot smoking circle in high school.
The President isn't very far away. He will be in Minneapolis for three fundraisers on Friday. He will be making a campaign stop at Honeywell to talk about his 3"x5" plan that can't get any votes in the Senate.
It's a 45 minute drive to stop in Wisconsin from there.
It's asking too much though.
Damikesc: thanks.
Don't worry, all the Chicago union types will be voting on election day.
Does this mean that all the Dems from Chicago (and Indiana) who trundle up to Madison every four years to stuff the ballot box will stay home this November?
Let us not forget that Illinois is where the demo's hid out to stop Gov. Walker from passing the bill he was elected to promulgate. They can run but they can't hide.
