But, weren't you harassed by Operation: ToiletBowl while eating?

Is that squash or pumpkin soup? It looks delicious, and so do the fries. It must drive that cadre of lefty pursuers crazy to see you boldly out in public. Hurray!

Be careful a baseball doesn't land in that soup!

Is that an eccentric soup bowl? If so, I want some of those.

You'll never be taken seriously as a writer, Ann, until you abandon Google.

You have no idea how difficult it has been over the last two says to even submit a comment.

Google SUCKS. They also HATE YOU.

Get your own domain.

If you don't know how to do it, I'd gladly hire on as your technical adviser.

dhagood said...

@john: i also noticed the bowl is eccentric and wondered why anybody would want/like something so silly.

different strokes and all i guess.

Might be a good place to stage your crackers before toppling them into the soup.

Once I thought these were pretty silly.

UN past the No Fly Zone.

Lugar's statement looked like a pre-emption to me, and now that suspicion is confirmed.

Kadafi is moving into Benghazi tonight I guess he got the message to massacre them faster.

UN past the No Fly Zone.

I still haven't heard who exactly will be *enforcing* that no fly zone.

I mean, I tried passing a No Squirrel Zone for my backyard, but the little bastards kept coming in anyway.

Not wanting to wade into the 400 comment thread, I'd rather say here that the threat comes from slackers and not trade unionists.

Here's a snippet from an online review of the employer mentioned:

-very good entry level wage compared to retail jobs
-very unrestricted dress code (as long as you're properly covered, jammies and slippers are ok)
-no manual labor, i.e. heavy lifting
-between calls you can play on handheld games, do homework, ready, write, draw, etc
-decent pay raise every six months (up to 40 cents)

I think the biggest danger is if they ride their bikes across the Meadhouse lawn. No stamping of any flaming bags on the porch, be careful.

LOL...

Ya....good question.( the beginning.)

Saud has E-3s, Japan has 'em but they're a little busy...

Britain has them -they have some staged in Cyprus right now. Three to be precise.

NATO has them but I don't know how they get around the German resistance..

I can't remember if they can go around Germany somehow.

Turkey is interesting....

The French keep talking I can't remember what the hell they have.

Chennaul said...

And Japan has that "civil defense" parameter on top of everything else.

France's role in the no-fly zone will be to secretly sell Kadafi more anti-aircraft weaponry.

GOOD! Looks delicious. Photography is of a very high standard.

Good to see you eating out. Not afraid of the lunatic and his threat. And, not afraid of the people who serve you food in Madison, either.

Just stay away from that pizza place, where they were sending free pizza to the protesters.

Slackers are not lovable. They are the children who never matured. They do just enough to get by only to discover one day they're not young enough to get away with it any more. By then they've become "Comic Book Guy," but without his entrepreneurial drive.

Well ya maybe the French are feeling a little guilty about this;

At least 800,000 people, mostly minority Tutsis, died in the massacres between April and July 2004.

French were individually and collectively responsible for allowing the massacre to unfold, he said.

"I would like to seize this opportunity to urge the United Nations and the French government to make sure these people are put under investigation and prosecuted," he said at a press conference in Tanzania.

"The testimonies heard by this tribunal during the last 10 years are probably sufficient to indicate that there is some damning evidence" of French responsibilities, AFP news agency reported him as saying.

Some witnesses have claimed that French troops were involved in the training of Interahamwe militias, which carried out most of the killings.

He added it was only in order to avoid "a diplomatic incident" that the tribunal's prosecutor had not yet named France as one of the countries which refuse to co-operate with the inquiry.

France has always denied any direct involvement in the massacres.

comfort is knowing what's right.

Wolverines eat rabid badgers for breakfast.

May the candles in MeadHouse never flicker.

If they should, Badgers, Golden Gophers, and Wolverines will stand century in front of Alhouse-

because of the comfort of being right...

(and I'd like to trout fish Wisconsin)

No, that's how the UN is supposed to work. Not just one country spending its own money to put out every fire around the world.

I'm sorry, but you are tiresome in the extreme.

Come to think of it -- is this place safe for you? Is it filled with disaffected slacker employees? People with more tattoos than Fantasy Island? People who look like they fell face first into the tackle box?

Be on your guard.

dhagood said...

@fls: what is exactly is this "work" to which you ascribe? passing a resolution does exactly nothing unless somebody mans up and provides implementation. get back to me when the UN goes to libya to enforce this or anything else.

The Blonde could go for a lunch like that. She's a big soup fan and has been known to scarf down a freedom fry or two.

She wanted to see Ann's Fox News video and I showed her the wonda in the rotunda, as well. She yells, "She looks just like me! She's a blonde, too!".

I remind her she was originally a chestnut and Ann was a redhead. It is of no moment. A bond has been formed.

PS She greatly admires Ann's fortitude in the face of thuggery.

Did I miss what kind of soup that was? It does look yummy.

There is a cafe, I think Carol Peck opened it quite a while ago, nearby. I didn't know who she was but others have told me she has a good name as a chef.

They have a lobster and seafood macaroni and cheese.

Might sound a bit odd but it is outstanding. Might be a good Friday during lent kind of a repast.

It is delicious. A joint closer by wanted 19 dollars for a corned beef plate today.

Ugh.

Kurt said...

OK, I admit to ignoring most of the comments, but I had to say that those frites do look very good and they remind me of the ones i used to enjoy in France and Germany--a different breed of creature than the American French Fries, but still so good! Plus, I couldn't resist sharing the word verification word, while wishing I could come up with the ideal definition for it: excupous...

At Graze, where you have a nice view of the Capitol and whatever doings are going on. We were there yesterday evening, at the end of our bike ride, and there was some bike-riding protest, like 15 bikes riding around and around the square.

There's a restaurant in my NYC neighborhood that has great fries. I don't ask, but I have dark suspicions that they use the most elemental and tastiest forms of grease in their frier......Observation about the Japan quake: At the end of the day far more people will have died from the tsunami than from either radiation or the earthquake itself. Most of the news coverage, however, is about radiation and its risks. It's a big mess, but my bet is that the media is not covering the real tragedy but their own anxiety.....Iran is in a fairly active earthquake zone. I wonder if anyone there has second thoughts about their nuclear reactor.
