Stealing that joke about shoplifting?
Sorry that joke was lying on the sidewalk, there for anyone with a sharp eye to pick it up. The first person to blurt it out on Twitter doesn't get to attach his name to it. Not guilty.

Two funny people arrive at the same minor pun simultaneously?
Must be theft!
Maybe it's a palindrome.
"The palindrome of "Bolton" would be 'Notlob'!! I"
I don't get it. It would be beer if anything.
wv: [completely illegible]

A brand of cigarettes.
How about the first person to blurt it out in the commetns section on a blog?
Big problem is that the joke makes no sense. The line should have been "remember to shoplift a bottle of Jack Daniels."
Judging by the comments, Jon Stewart may have overestimated the number of people who know that "American Spirits" is a brand of cigarettes.
Thanks, TMJims, for noticing that I beat Urbaniak by an hour and a half.
By the way, is this the same James Urbaniak who was implicated in the Reynolds body language attribution kerfuffle a couple weeks back?
And hi Jon if you happen to read this.
Watching the clip from The Daily Show and its multiple excerpts from Palin's speech kept reminding me of.......
Cowbell
jimspice it is a far more impressive (to me at least) feat that you would remember a guy's name from a month ago than that I remember a joke from 3 days ago. But I do think it is the same James Urbaniak.
Dear Mr. Stewart,
You can use any of my stuff.
