"The odd genius of the ad is that it is so weird that you will click on it online, and bloggers like me will link to it. The message is delivered."

Time Magazine's Michael Scherer passes on viral video then updates to act as if he's enlightening us about the fascinating phenomenon of viral video — as opposed to — oh, I don't know — apologizing for being an idiot.

That ad is soooo long. Creative, but long. Dramatic, but long. Retarded, but long...

And what, in the end, will serve to define Candidate Carly Fiorina???

"She ran H.P."

Eight letters!!

Idiocy means never having to say you're sorry. Just ask Joe Biden.

I hope this video goes viral. I love women who hunt. Enjoy!

This is about as brutal as watching baby harps seals get wacked. But without any sympathy for the target of her attack.

The ad may be differently abled, but I giggled when the robot sheep showed up on screen. It's kind of amusing.

That Fiorino ad is like something from the Shining! I love it for entertainment value--although I question it being effective.

It manages to make both candidates look very creepy. It would be a great ad idea from another candidate attacking these two simultaneously.

That Fiorino ad would rock if you were taking some California medicinal herb.

How do they build the bubbles where the MSM geniuses live and work? One theory is the bubbles are not physical and are actuallly a form of mass delusion. The MSM elites believed themselves to be such prodigies at an early age, they tended to stop learning.

The lesson to be learned from folks like Michael Scherer is Never Never Stop Learning!

I know Tom Campbell, and Tom Campbell is no furry.

If you wanted to play Pink Floyd over this ad, why would you pick Dark Side of the Moon over Animals?

My parents answering machine has been inundated with robocalls from Carly Fiorina, and Tom Campbell for the Senate, Meg Whitman and Steve Poizner for Governor.

While the ad is horrible, it is interesting that even in California, the GOP seems to be feeling frisky about their chances against both Barbara Boxer for Senate and Jerry Brown for Governor.

The Dems might be making a mistake in not having competitive primary races. While normally you want to save your energy for the general election, I think given the mood of the electorate, by not giving Dems a sense that they have a choice in the matter, it might depress their turnout in November.

The odd syntax of the sentence is so odd that I found myself wondering if it had been written by the same person who penned, "All your base are belong to us."

I knew Tom Campbell in the mid-1980’s when he was a professor at Stanford Law School. I learned that Tom has a major disadvantage as compared with most politicians. He is honest. He is a straight shooter. He is very smart and he takes his responsibilities seriously. He believes in public service. I don’t think you will catch him twisting his opponent’s words or going negative. In today’s world, that’s a significant handicap because most politicians succeed by telling the voters what they want to hear (Hope & Change) and misrepresenting the opponent’s record.

The whole thing (sheep, random pigs) sort of reminded me of Animal Farm.

Which got me thinking about Animal Farm's tragic hero, and how sympathetic and hard working and under appreciated he was until he got sent to the glue factory.

Great job, Carly! You made an Ad that gets people to think warm, fuzzy thoughts...... about BOXER.

Tom Campbell is also a devout Catholic who takes the responsibility of making laws very seriously. He went to the University of Chicago with the smartest and second best looking girl in my neighborhood. (Her oldest sister was even more stunning.)

Carly is all about Carly. When she started at HP she made them buy two Gulfstreams to ferry her around the world. (Davos was a favorite.) She was the first HP CEO to require bodyguards. After two years on a three-year contract, she engineered the scorched-earth merger with Compaq, strategically timing the board meeting approving it for when the junior Hewlett would be at Bohemian Grove, following in the footsteps of his father and Mr. Packard.

With Carly, it's all about Carly, while with Campbell, it's all about the citizens.

I don't really care about all that. But she seems to have made the decision to merge HP with Compaq, which is quite possibly the worst computer company I have ever had the displeasure of buying from. Their computers were almost unbelievably bad. Ever since that decision, I swore to myself that I will never buy a computer from HP. After all, it might have been designed by the people who designed those awful Compaq computers. Eugh.

For a woman/candidate with a lot of bucks, the production values of this ad are pretty low.
Was Terry Gilliam the animator?

I assume that by now everyone has seen her opponent's response to the ad? Kind of makes me want to move back to California and become a registered Republican....

Didn't she bomb as CEO? Vaguely recall some dire news stories. Elect her, she'll do the same to the country.
